Food was good as normal, I got 2 cheese burgers and a reg fry for the wife and myself to go. When we got home the regular fry was not enough for 1 person, and definitely not for two. I looked at the receipt to make sure I got a regular fry, not a small. Five Guys has not skipped on quality, but has raised prices, which I can respect, so we don't eat there often. I decided to try Five Guys out. I had a cheeseburger, fries and a drink. The food was fantastic. The service was good. The price...not so much. $22.75 was a bit much. Considering that for a couple of dollars more, I could have enjoyed a 12 ounce ribeye with all the trimmings. Again, the food is great, but it's not $22.75 great. I could have eaten at Wendy's for half this price. The atmosphere is nothing to brag about. Very hard bottom chairs let you know that they do not want you to linger long. I don't think there will be a repeat visit, but then again, I tend to be frugal when it comes to what I'm getting for my dollar. Five Guys is definitely not it. read more

OK. The burgers here taste good and so do the french fries. That being said, so are a lot of other burger joints. So for me, something else needs to be there to set them apart. I was immediately welcomed upon entry...from way across the room! It's a pretty standard menu...burgers, dogs, & fries...mostly with variations of each...like size and toppings. This is a Coke shop...sorry Pepsi fans. This place is located at the end of a strip mall so there's plenty of parking available. So what sets them apart from other burger joints...their prices! They are definitely high in my book for the size you get. Where the prices drag the rating down, the tastiness of the burgers and fries pulls it back up. Steak Prices, Burger Quality First, Five Guys is THE standard for burgers, in my opinion. I compare every burger to Five Guys, that simple. Unfortunately, their prices have skyrocketed, far outpacing COVID impacts, inflation, etc. Simply put, there is NO REASON for a burger to cost $11. My wife and I ate here and for two burgers, 1 large fry and 2 drinks, it was $37! No complaints on the quality, as the burgers were delicious but when a company decides to pay burger flippers $15-$20 per hour and then pass that on to the customer, I'm not on board. I hate to say that I won't go back to Five Guys anywhere at these prices, but that is the case. Bring back quality burgers at competitive prices and I'll be a lifelong customer. Until then, I like my money too much to waste it on overpriced burgers. read more

The cashier doesn't seem to know how to wear a mask correctly... if I can see your nose, it's not right. They also need to rein in the other patrons. Saw a lady repeatedly removing her mask in line. For being a relatively "fast" food kind of place, you really can't beat the quality of five guys. Is it the best burger I've ever had? No. Does it even crack the top 10? No. But they are some of the best fries you can find and the 2nd place burger in a national chain is nowhere close to theirs. So my feelings about Five Guys in general is a very positive outlook. The other great thing about them is that each franchise seems to be very consistently great at efficiency and customer service. That is no different with this location. But unlike some other locations I have been, the parking is very easy being located at the end of a strip mall far enough from Publix that it is really a breeze to get in and out. I typically go for the bacon cheeseburger. And don't forget FG doesn't upcharge for those toppings. So go crazy! But always recommended to get those veggies grilled on the ones you are able. Even though I avoided the fries on my last visit here, never worry about being short on those. As a matter of fact, a small order usually covers two people since they throw more than a fair share of lagniappe fries on top. I can't think of a more solid four star across the board than this chain and this location. read more

Disgusting. Can I do 0 stars? We both threw out our food it was so bad. Cajun fries, greasy and so over spiced that they were inedible. Sloppy burger, again greasy and just a mess to eat. Make sure you have something to catch all the nasty vegetables falling out. I think she ate 3 or 4 bites. And the "grilled cheese" sandwich? I had to throw it out after the first bite. Poor customer service. when asked to correct a mistake they made on a delivery order. The refused to send a corrected burger out. My son is highly allergic to dairy and they put cheese on his burger. This was my first ever experience eating at 5 guys. I've heard good things and happened to pass by one while hungry. The restaurant is clean, greeted when walked in and had a friendly cashier. The menu wasn't easy to read and didn't see value menus so when ordering he asked if we wanted fries and a drink. 2 burgers with fries and a drink came to $30 bucks!! I was floored. After paying and waiting 10 minutes for our order I expected that burger to be the best burger I've ever eaten. It was a good burger but not what I or my son was expecting. Yesssssss! I have NEVER had a disappointing meal at Five Guys, so I hope I'm not "jinxing" myself by writing this review. I go to this location in Dothan on average once a month (I try not to eat too many fast food burgers!) and it's always an enjoyable experience. I guess it's consistent because the one I used to go to frequently in Huntsville on Highway 72 also always had good food and good service as well. The guys cooking the food always do a good job of getting the orders right and preparing the food quickly. And the food is so good! I always get the little bacon cheeseburger, and an order of fries, and my husband gets the regular bacon cheeseburgers and an order of fries, and even though they give you a "lot" of fries in an order we never have any fries left between the two of us, LOL--the fries are really good. Plus, you can get your burger any way you like, and they offer a wide assortment of toppings, everything from jalapenos and mushrooms to mayo and A1 sauce. I'm a fan! read more
