Best yet, as I crave a California breakfast burrito something severe out here in Ohio, Larry's Chili Dogs set the standard for what I hope to find (which there is nothing here). I paid my last few visits to get my Breakfast Burrito fix before moving out of state, and each time was just as special as the first. Each burrito was wonderfully assembled, with that unbeatable salsa verde on the side. As I reflect back, I believe Larry's Chili Dogs has the best breakfast burrito one could get their hands on. I made it my mission to find a better place than here to no success. While there have been 1 or 2 close contenders, Larry's is hands down the best. Thanks for so many years of great memories and for instilling a craving I'll never be able to satisfy again unless I move back.

The people are super nice, always very polite and working at super speed. Saturday mornings for us are breakfast burritos and I really think there's is the best in Burbank. I like my fillings to be identifiable and not all chopped up. We get the sauce on the side, it's this wonderful jalapeño spice that is so tasty with just the right amount of warmth. We often go up for lunch, with our usual orders, being a #1 special with hamburger, fries, and a drink. And then I get a cheeseburger. The burgers are really good, and I especially love the fries! Recently, I wanted to try something different and tried a gyros sandwich and I think that might be my new favorite. Very fresh, the pita was soft but lightly toasted, the meat is tasty and there is a wonderful tzatziki sauce on it as well. Finally, their chili dogs are delicious! I get mine with chili, cheese, onions, and some mustard. I especially love that you can pick it up and eat it, so it's not all gross where you have to eat it with a fork. Highly recommend!

The Vegan Chi dog sounded pretty darn good (Michael recommended it) so I ordered me one. Tell you what... it was delicious! Owner Michael is also the head chef... actually, the only chef, as well as a very cool guy! This first timer will be back again very soon! Craving another dog already! Next time I will try the vegan LA Street dog!

This location was near my hotel in Burbank, so I thought I would give them a shot. Customer service wasn't bad. Tommy's Original has a walkup counter on the outside of an "A" framed building and had a few people in line when I arrived. It moved quickly and I order the classic Chili Cheeseburger and Fries. Tommy's is famous for their chili burger and dogs. The burger itself wasn't bad, just really messy. I think I would enjoy it more late night after a couple of drinks. Parking here is mostly on the side of the road.

Chili John's as probably the biggest purveyor of chili in the L.A. area had long been on my list of places I'd wanted to try in the area. I'd heard nothing but raves about their chili and the array of dishes built around it. The spaghetti did not disappoint as I found their chili beefy, savory, and super flavorful, especially with the addition of the onions and cheese that is a must for the dish. Plus, thanks to the recommendation of the server, the chili was also noticeably spicy and this added a well-appreciated punch of fire to the whole entree. The service was amazing. It was personable and helpful, as the dude was full of recommendations and commentary about a menu and business he obviously had a deep affection for. I wish all restaurants had service this deeply dedicated to providing a superb experience to all its customers. The ambiance was distinct, it is on the small side of dining areas, with all the seating being a horseshoe pattern around the central service area. It also wasn't the most modern interior or exterior, but I feel that's part of its charm. It feels like a place with a deep history of being an area establishment for decades. It breathes character and charm. I can't think of a better place to eat a bowl of traditional chili whose recipe hasn't been fudged with in decades. Overall, I can't recommend this place more highly. This is my kind of place and somewhere I hope to frequent going forward.

Let's start with the positives: I love all the toppings to choose from. The milk shakes a amazing. BUT the burger tends falls apart in my hand while eating it. It's tasty but it crumbles like a dry cookie. It's a mess. The fries are great, but way too expensive for my tastes. Plus they over load the meal with fries. Maybe it's just me but I don't need a Big Gulp's worth of french fries with my meal. They shouldn't be the star of the dish. The burger is my focus. The burger is my zen. You are my heart. read more

Called in to place an order and like ALWAYS They put you on hold. But this time I held on hold to enter the store. Empty and employees all come running out the back. Manager saw I was on a long hold promised me extra fries to make up for it only to like ALWAYS Give me extra onions on my bacon cheese burger I begged to make sure Did NOT have onions. What an amazing experience! I haven't had Five Guys in such a long time, so I decided to return. Their milkshakes are BOMB! Their beef patties are so juicy & chewy which I love the texture of chewiness. My only concern are the fries. I do not enjoy the fries, sorry my peeps. People coming in and out of the store, either dine in or take out.

Best yet, as I crave a California breakfast burrito something severe out here in Ohio, Larry's Chili Dogs set the standard for what I hope to find (which there is nothing here). I paid my last few visits to get my Breakfast Burrito fix before moving out of state, and each time was just as special as the first. Each burrito was wonderfully assembled, with that unbeatable salsa verde on the side. As I reflect back, I believe Larry's Chili Dogs has the best breakfast burrito one could get their hands on. I made it my mission to find a better place than here to no success. While there have been 1 or 2 close contenders, Larry's is hands down the best. Thanks for so many years of great memories and for instilling a craving I'll never be able to satisfy again unless I move back.

The people are super nice, always very polite and working at super speed. Saturday mornings for us are breakfast burritos and I really think there's is the best in Burbank. I like my fillings to be identifiable and not all chopped up. We get the sauce on the side, it's this wonderful jalapeño spice that is so tasty with just the right amount of warmth. We often go up for lunch, with our usual orders, being a #1 special with hamburger, fries, and a drink. And then I get a cheeseburger. The burgers are really good, and I especially love the fries! Recently, I wanted to try something different and tried a gyros sandwich and I think that might be my new favorite. Very fresh, the pita was soft but lightly toasted, the meat is tasty and there is a wonderful tzatziki sauce on it as well. Finally, their chili dogs are delicious! I get mine with chili, cheese, onions, and some mustard. I especially love that you can pick it up and eat it, so it's not all gross where you have to eat it with a fork. Highly recommend!

This truck was at a park-movie I was at on Saturday night. I looked at their menu board for a few moments, and after debating between the $9 Patrolman (CREAMED BLEU CHEESE, BACON, ALLSPICE CRAN-APPLE REDUCTION, ON A GRILLED DONUT) and the $8 Collector (SHARP CHEDDAR, BACON, LETTUCE, TOMATO, CHIPOTLE SAUCE) I opted for the later of the two burgers. I also added the fries and drink combo for $4. A few minutes later my name was called and I grabbed my burger. The guy told me to grab a soda from the cooler section and enjoy. I grabbed a soda and walked back to my small section of lawn I had claimed for the movie. I unwrapped the burger out of the paper and took a bite. The tangy chipotle sauce on the burger was great. The veggies were crisp, and the cheese was melty and good. The burger was great. I turned to the matchstick fries and started in on them. They were skinny, well seasoned and crisp. They had given me a tub of sauce, but I forgot about it until I was nearly done with the fries. I gave the sauce a shot, it was a good BBQ sauce that went well with the fries. The fries were good enough to stand on their own sauceless. All in all this truck is great. The theme is entertaining, and a massive delicious burger, great fries, and can of soda all for $12. Now that's an offer I can't refuse.
