When will the price increases STOP! A cheeseburger, Small fries, and a Small drink for $19.68!!! I am so frustrated I needed to lead off with that, and I'm sure. Just like most people, I enjoy the food at 5 Guys, however, I find it difficult to swallow their prices. No wonder this place is always empty! I called my order in from my car and upon hearing my total, I politely, but promptly canceled my order. The clerk asked why, so I told her the prices have gone too high for my taste. Without provacation, she hung up on me. That's how it happened, nothing more, nothing less. I then left the front of 5 Guys and drove across the joint parking lot to the always busy Chic-filet and ordered a #1 with no pickel meal and a regular size cookies and cream shake. The total came to $12.03! Now That's a price I can sink my teeth into!!! If you look out of your front window 5 Guys, and see the sandwich shop down the road, eating up your profits because they are packed with customers, and you are relatively empty, it might be a good time to reevaluate your prices, and to retrain your staff to not hang up on now, former customers. The food at 5 Guys is enjoyable, but half the fries might just help to get prices down. (The less fries idea won't be popular) The extra fries are a part of what's burning up my hard earned cash. It's sad, but I don't believe I'll return until there is a price drop, or, the more likely scenario would be, when Chic-filet decides to start saying "thank you" to its customers. I ordered takeout 1/18/2019 Friday at 8pm and it said the food would be done at 8:08pm I got there exactly on time and the food was just starting to be made. The fact that it was a busy Friday really made the time estimated on mobile order completely inaccurate. I didn't get my food until 8:25pm. The place could get the tables and floors swept probably at least every 2 hours because it's just really messy and dirty in there, but what can you expect from a fast food place? The food was expensive, but the burgers were worth it. The fries on the other hand were not worth any penny. I wouldn't get fries ever again here. Wet, extremely salty, old, sad is what I would call the fries. I don't think the meal was worth how much I paid for it just because of the fries. The bags were completely oily and my burger was not wrapped completely leaving the burger hanging out. The flavor of the burgers really was outstanding though. Would I come here again for a burger craving? Yes. Do I think there are better places for a similar meal? Yes. Would I eat in again? No. Only takeout. Was the meal Worth the price? Absolutely not. Whenever I'm craving a burger and beach fries this is the go to place. Prices are a little high but the quality is there and if you buy shack shake it's the same price point. Also their hot dogs are soooo good, I don't know if it's the type they use or how they cook them but they are the tastiest hot dogs around here. There is no dine in option right now at this location due to COVID-19, but you can go in order and wait till it's done and take it out. They stacked all of their chairs and tables so there is plenty of waiting room and you won't be close to anybody. I'd give zero stars if it was an option, you spend almost $30 on two burgers and two fries to go and the people can't get the order right. Clearly in my receipt it says Bacon, onion and ketchup. If i could give this negative - stars i would. Went there in the afternoon, only 1 customer ahead of me. i ordered, told cashier i wanted my bacon cheese burger cooked MEDIUM. The cashier/order taker said their policy was that it MUST be cooked WELL DONE. I told her i understood but i want it MEDIUM. She put a 'note' on the order and i paid. Then the manager discussed it with me and again said they have to cook it well done. i asked them if they cook it fresh ? he said yes. i advised him to just take it off the grilll a couple minutes sooner. he still refused to cook it the way i wanted it. $10.30 for a burger and i get no choice. he offered a refund but i wanted the food. I got the food, The grease was soaking thru the paper bag, which is not good. Disgusting. When i got it home, the burger patties were thin, a bit leathery and flavorless. The burger was Definitely OVERCOOKED. The cheese looked and tasted like bland processed velveeta, like melted plastic...not good at all. Burger was also VERY greasy. The only good part was the lettuce, tomato,onion -they were fresh. The french fries were VERY GREASY too, Not crispy, and soft. AND WAY TOO SALTY. French fries should be a littlle bit crispy and not SOGGY or taste like a whole salt shaker was dumped on them...probably the worst fries i've ever had. i've been to Five Guys a few times before, and i forget how poor quality and unhealthy it is. Not sure what happened to this location. It used to be so good, but recently it has been very disappointing. We've ordered ahead of time online and the website says it will be ready in 10 minutes. The workers just stand around like they have no idea what's going on and make orders for walk in orders ahead of those who already ordered. It's rather ridiculous the number of times I've been next door to Moe's but never set foot in this Five Guys. So when a bunch of friends had a meetup here, I took the opportunity to join them and try this place. I've been to a few other Five Guys and this one is comparable. As always, I ordered a hamburger with everything, including the spicy toppings. They did not disappoint. With all the toppings stacked up, it's a rather tall and satisfying burger, even if it does get a bit messy. As in other Five Guys locations, they have not one, but two, Coke Freestyle machines to make it less likely that you'll need to wait to use it. As a bonus, they have an extra tap with four iced tea flavors, a nice touch. And finally, the complimentary peanuts are good for snacking on if the burger doesn't fill you. read more

Burger was well made. The patty is thick and juicy but not too oily after cooking. Bun is pretty standard fare and nothing too exciting. BUT the toppings are great. The lettuce, onions, and jalapenos were fresh, crisp, juicy, and crunchy. There was no brown lettuce, limp onions, or mushy jalapenos to be found in my burger. The fries were crisp and tasty Cajun style, much better then other burger joints. Only caution is that the fries are made in peanut oil and there are big boxes of peanuts in the restaurant as snacks so beware if you have allergies. You really can't put this place into words, other than its bound to be one of the best burgers you'll ever consume. The staff, for a fast food joint, is surprisingly nice and courteous. Ya you can expect to spend between $20-25 for 2 people, which may seem high for a "burger joint", but this isn't McDonalds. Like, this isn't even in the same class, it's its own place. Very fresh, you can taste it. I have had Five Guys in DC and New York. I would say DC was the best (my first experience with Five Guys). NY was very bad ( greasy and unfriendly staff). Doesn't actually use their curbside pickup. I waited out front between 5-10 minutes before going inside to pick up my order where I was told that they don't actually check their curbside pickup arrivals. But the food was just as great as it always is, so I can't complain too much. I"ve been here numerous times it is by far the best burger place I have ever been to. I've only had one issue, I came in an hour or two before closing time and they didn't have anymore bacon.
