First impressions are last impressions so in the case of the taste of my meal I had here, it was delicious. The store is tucked inside a small shopping centre on the very end so it would be very easy to miss. I'm familiar with the area but never been or noticed here. Worth the find. Wanted authentic Mexican food and received nothing short of just that. For starters for my first time I tried the empanadas which come with 3, rice, and side salad. Empanadas were golden, crispy and real warm. Tender juicy pieces of chicken inside. Only thing I would change or add is some more seasoning. It's still delicious either way. Definitely returning in the future. Next victim the enchiladas lol.

Found this place randomly on doordash during the height of COVID and haven't stopped going back since. Food is always fresh & flavorful. Would definitely recommend!

You know it's authentic when even the mild sauce is hot

I've been coming to this place for years, but this Keto life has kept me away. Tonight, though, I'm tired, cold and Keto'd out. This little corner place in Bear has better, authentic, Mexican food than most big cities I've been too. Service is prompt and polite. The food is fresh and hot. The restaurant is cozy, and clean. Since I was cheating, I went for broke. Started with the Chorizo Queso. The meat was spicy and cooked just right. I should've stopped there but decided to have the beef chimichangas for my main course. The tortilla shells were fried nice and crisp, and the seasoned steak inside was juicy and tender. I soooo needed this and so do you. This place just makes you feel comfortable, and they always got some soccer match on....lol

So good. So perfect. Great portion sizes. Great prices. Perfect flavor. If you're looking for seriously authentic Mexican food in the Wilmington area, this is definitely a place to check out. It's in the back on the corner, so don't drive by. Trust your directions. I had the steak tacos. Perfection. My father had a burrito. It was glorious. My mama had the flan. Delightful. My daughter and son had the cheese quesadilla and rice from the kids menu. Perfect size for kids. The rice was soft, fluffy, and yummy. Hubs had tacos too. He got five and that was way too many. 3-4 would have been enough. Great service. Clean bathroom. My only regret is that I didn't try the Mexican Hot Chocolate.

By far the tastiest most reasonably price hidden gem! Highly recommend if you're in the mood for authentic Mexican food. We had their taquitos and they didn't fail to please. Tasty with your choice of salsas while you wait. Two meals with drinks - $19.50!!

No longer burrito express. Now they are Las Reinas del Sur and do not keep their posted hours.

Tiny place. Fantastic food. Great atmosphere. Breakfast burrito with chorizo is awesome, light on the potatoes. So glad we found this place.

    Bardea Steak - PICANHA

    Bardea Steak

Hands down probably one of the best in Wilmington, probably better than its neighbor Bardea…read more The ambience is set with the dime lighting and walking in you know you're somewhere elegant. I will say I took a star off for the steak, I've been to a few of the big ones in Philly and I'm not sure this place is up to par but it's good and the side dishes....omg phenomenal. I literally dream about the salad and carrots. Amazing flavors! The service is good, can be hit or miss depending on the day but I feel like that's anywhere in Wilmington. Overall, I recommend to those who haven't been or someone looking for a good meal in Wilmington. Don't skip those side dishes though! They are truly the stars of the show.

One of the most opulent meals I've had in a while. We had a $125 gift card, a birthday, and a bill…read moreI wasn't expected to foot which made for a good yelp review. We walked into the spot around 5:45PM. Not too busy at this point. A style reminiscent of fibbage 3 of jackbox set to a psychedelic beat. Appears to be popular among the 30-somethings. Well-dressed, young servers with a friendly work culture and dimly lit yellow light type of vibe. Service was appropriate and formal yet personable. We were given insight on the menu and were walked through all of the steak options. We started off with the drinks. Our server, Austin, suggested the lemon drop and espresso martinis were some of the best on this side of the Mississippi. You could taste no alcohol in either of these drinks. The lemon drop was sweet with strong lemon-head-esque flavors. The espresso martini might be mistaken for an espresso outside of this context. I had a boring old fashioned which tasted like a sweet citrusy bourbon. The drinks overall were tasty and I would not be reserved about ordering one but they can run the tab pretty quickly. The menu is divided into snacks, steak, sides, and other entrees. The snacks are a bite or two among a party of four. 2-3 sides and an entree will feed a party of 4-6. We started with some snacks: the brioche buns, Swedish meatballs, and lamb gnocchi. The brioche buns had a soft chewy interior and a honey-glazed, lightly crispy exterior. They were served with a pad of butter that tasted like butter. This will come out sooner than your other snacks. It is advised to eat this with your saucier dishes but we couldn't wait that long. High value for your meal. We approached the lamb gnocchi next. There was half an ounce of braised lamb in a brown sauce over a home-made gnocchi in a pool of spiced broth. The braised lamb was melt in your mouth tender which paired nicely with the lightly chewy gnocchi. Almost a bite as satisfying as mochi although the texture was completely different. The curveball was the broth. If you've had Maggi noodles (an Indian instant noodle staple) it tastes almost exactly like this broth except maybe a bit thicker. This was a fun dish. We indulged in two sides: the house salad and the loaded potato. The house salad tasted like a creamy Caesar with crunchy bits. Good variety of greens textures. It's no roots natural kitchen but certainly goes well with the meats and starch you'll encounter at bardea. The loaded potatoes also paired well with the beef. I think the potato was simply sliced into 1/2 slices, breaded in panko, and deep fried. Similar in flavor to a McDonald's hash brown. A rich, smoky white sauce accompanied the potato slices as well as the green sauce which I don't really remember. We shared a delicious whole branzino as well. We were given the option to have the head attached or detached. My fave part is the head, eyes, and cheeks so detachment was not an option. It's mostly deboned but there are some bones so be careful. No sauce but there is intense flavors in the crispy skin. The Angus porterhouse was a steak. Well-cooked to medium rare. Seared well on the outside and perfectly medium rare on the interior. Some cartilaginous bites that I didn't mind bc I have a bad habit of swallowing food. The rare seared fatty bit were my favorite. I love beef and this was a real treat . I am a student and this meal was my significant other's family treating me to a luxurious meal. Bardea facilitated a phenomenal pseudo-formal time to dress up and hang out in a celebratory fashion. However, this meal was very expensive. The value of the experience was okay. We ended up paying around $70 per person. If you like steakhouses, this isn't so bad although I might suggest hitting up Trolley afterwards if you're trying to have a comprehensive Saturday night.

I need to give a moment of silence for the queso, it was soooo good! I could have had a massive bowl of that and been happy. It was amazing! The oysters were ok, but the pretzels and queso blew them away. Do order this if you try this restaurant. My husband ordered a a burger and fries. This was amazing. He let me try some, I was blown away. It was so good. I ordered a fish which was also amazing. The location is quaint and comfortable. It is a bright restaurant with a happy, busy bar. First time at a Two Stones Pub. Went with my partner…read more Thursday night the place was not too busy. I appreciate the happy Buddah statue decor near the entrance; it give the palce a unique and fun flare. The TVs around Us were showing video games and poker which was great for me since I don't really watch sports. They are also doing a food drive since I saw a box with cans in it. Not sure how long they're doing it though. As I took a look at the menu - at first glance it seems like a standard American bar menu with burgers, fries, nachos, salads, wings, and sandwhiches, but upon further reading I noticed the ingredience are a bit diffrent. This is where it really stands out. Subtle changes to some classic foods really shines at this place. Example: PeeBee & Jay Burger/Dirty Kettle Chips Overall we had a pleasant experience at this place and really feels like we could be regulars. Service is good, food is good, drinks, good, and portion sizes are excellent. (2) Alcoholic beverages, (1) appitizer, and (2) entrees. Bill came out to about $61. (Not including tip) Shout out to our server JASON. He was very attentive, we watched him keep that same energy with the other tables around us. Very honest and knowledgeable about the menu. Helped us pick items on the menu, gave us really accurate descriptions of the foods and drinks. Great personality energy and helpful, Drinks: beer and seasonal sangria (good) Food: Caribbean Sweet Potato Fries - We ordered a small, the portion size was great to share for twc people. The jerk sauce gives the fries a spicy kick to them which is a slow build up the more you eat. The salsa was great and really balanced out the spice, 1 appreciate the quality of mangos being just perfect (not too tarte or super sweet). Sweet potatos weren't very sweet but that was fine with me since I generally don't eat sweet potatos. These were propbably the best sweet potato fries I've ever had. Fish Tacos with a side of garden salad with Herb Vinegrett dressing - Fish Tacos were good. the sauce was spicy, a lot spicier than I expected. Fish was well fried and good size. It didn't have a fishy taste to them so it felt fresh. The Herb Vinegrett dressing was sooooo goooood. I wish i had more of it. I can't even describe it other than it was so good. Chopped Santa Fe Salad with requested Jerked Chicken - Chicken was well cooked and juicy. Just the right amount of dressing and chicken. Ratio of sauce to salad was well balanced. Jerked chicken had its own flavor which added to the salad as a whole.Overall really good.
