I got a small (9") Paisano sub. The bread was the perfectly crunchy (but not dry) exterior and pillowy soft interior that's perfect for subs with oil & dressing. Overflowing with meat and flavor, this was the best sandwich but I've had in a long while. Half of the small is a filling meal, you'll have leftovers for sure. First the sandwiches are all delicious and full of meat and any toppings you want. We can the kids a ham sub with cheese and mayo, simple but they loved it. Got the chicken cutlet sandwich and it was on point, full of flavor and the broccolira on top was an awesome touch! Then, the cheesesteak...delicious!!!! My friend and I got some sandwiches to go here. This place is soooo busy for lunch time! I got the 12 inch Gigi which has chicken cutlet, broccoli rabe, roasted red peppers and mozzarella. My husband got the Italian and added some toppings to his sandwich. Overall my sandwich is pretty tasty. I thought the bread was okay. My husband's sandwich kind of fell apart but his sandwich was also wet from all the oil and vinegar he added. My chicken cutlet was breaded and sliced thin. The roasted peppers has good flavor and there was lots of broccoli rabe. I think next time it needs a sauce since it was alittle dry. It did taste good the next few days. I would rate this a 3.5 star place. It can be better and I'm willing to try other sandwich items here. read more

Good enough. Off a major road close to a highway. Busy place but pretty efficient in moving customers along. Probably a little tough to find a place to park at times in their relatively small lot. Can order ahead online but some things have to be fixed with their glitchy website. French fries not listed as sides and so can't be ordered (though they have them, regular and bay). Credit card payment would also not go through for some reason. Had to order the old fashioned way and pick up the phone. Bag of subs was pretty heavy. Could problem do some major head trauma with it. Very generous with the meats. For an idea of size, the small is basically a footlong (actually 9-10"), the large a double footlong. Some sandwiches like the Italian you can get medium. You can add hot peppers and roasted peppers to any sub for an extra charge. The Italian was a little heavy on the oregano but you can ask to omit this. Roast pork was flavorful. Can get it Supremo, with broccoli rabe Side of slaw, which you order separately as an extra charge, was good, which is saying a lot since most places are terrible. Our first time here after a neighbor highly recommended to us.... I think we were lucky and hit it at a slower time of the day (about 3:00 I think) so there were just a handful of people waiting when we arrived and the girls at the counter were very nice! We both got hot sandwiches, one chicken cheesesteak and one meatball to go. We knew we would have to reheat them a bit having an hour drive home and the bread came out perfect! This is a small roadside restaurant that is somewhat easy to miss unless you are looking for the address specifically. Drive right up to the front door & park. The sandwiches are huge and oh so tasty. They are made from freshly cooked, roasted turkey, roasted beef, freshly prepared ribeye steak. The place is bustling and lively. I don't eat pork, but I do love me some cheesesteaks, so I knew that I had to try this place out due to the rave reviews. Besides these two sammies, they also offer hoagies, classic sandwiches, wraps, and various sides. We ordered a small (about a 9 incher) Cheese Steak with American cheese, no lettuce or tomato, with grilled onions and mayo. There was quite a bit of a wait due to the number of people in there - I think I overheard one of the employees stating that it would be about a 45+ minute wait for a cheesesteak order, and that they're only taking other orders at the moment. I don't know what was up, but our cheesesteak was pretty much inedible - the meat had some weird seasoning and an off-putting taste to it; not sure if some other meat's seasonings, marinade, or juice got on them, or it was just handled wrong. The bread itself also wasn't that great, and it tasted kind of sponge-y. I was also disappointed that their menu was not updated, as we wanted to try their gravy fries - from the photos, it looked like it had some shredded steak or brisket on top, but when asked, the employee looked confused and then by following up with a manager, stated that they didn't sell those anymore. Sigh. Unfortunately, our experience was not a delicious one as others have had, and our sandwich ended up being tossed. Stopped here for lunch while in the area for work. I was not expected much from a random sandwich spot in Delaware but was I wrong! I thoroughly enjoyed my sandwich. The bread to filling ratio was just right. The chicken cutlets were thin and crispy but the thing that really made the sandwich for me was the greens! However, as I spend more time in Philly I find that the roll is always whats missing on a Delaware cheesesteak. Thats what brought me back here. Called and ordered two Subs and fries was told 30 mins. 1 hour later I received my food after waiting in the lobby for 30 mins.

First, I have to say the service here is great! the people are friendly and fast. Everyone that walked said nothing but good things about the food. I had the roast pork supremo broccoli rabe with sharp provolone cheese sandwich and it was super tender. The broccoli was something new that I have never had before in a sandwich but it opened my eyes and I couldn't stop eating it. The slightly spicy sauce that this sandwich had just kept me coming back for more. The flavors are balanced you won't want to add anything to it. It's like no other sandwich you have ever had before. Just make sure you get this sandwich supremo, it will catch you by surprise. I ended up also trying their dessert which was a rice pudding and it took me home. The rice was the right level of soft and chew, and the milk was creamy with the right amount of cinnamon and sugar. Man it was good! It didn't make it back to my room it was so good.
