Had a weird and bad experience during the BBQ hours (we've also been here for breakfast/brunch). Getting our orders taken was very slow and then it took a full hour to get our meals with only 3 tables being served. The fried pickle spears were not good; I was overcharged ($5 more than what shows in the snack section of the menu); and it was not served as an appetizer in spite of specifying that "we'd like to start with..." The hot chicken sandwich was fine but nothing special. And the brisket burrito couldn't be eaten with my hands like a normal burrito because a slice of cheese was melted on the outside and BBQ sauce was squirted on the outside. P.S. We were never offered any sauces, which is odd for BBQ. (We did come in toward the end of the shift, so I've tried to be fair with a 3.) read more

Bad experience, good potential. The place was busy when we went on a mid-day Sunday. The place looked cute, smelled good and the donuts in the case were mouthwatering. We were sat and it took probably 15 min to get drinks on the table. I could tell the people around us were antsy ... it took nearly an hour to get our food, and a table that was there well before us still hadn't been served. There were multiple points when one of the waitresses was heard cussing in the kitchen. The brisket cheesesteak was honestly one of the greatest things I've ever had ... but the mac and cheese was the most bland boring and since all sides are an $8 extra that was upsetting. We asked for the check, the server only brought over a handheld machine to swipe the card ... I asked for a receipt after, come to find out they charged us $12 for both of our sides not $8. I asked why and seemed like that was a problem - the manager (?) seemed really irritated I asked for a refund on the overcharge. We're not local and wouldn't be back, but wouldn't recommend eating-in to anyone based on the service either. read more

Stopped in today after my husband got a haircut nearby. We had never heard of this place before. The restaurant seemed clean, was spacious and had a cool vibe. A few booths and lots of tables, including bar seats. Our sandwiches were okay, nothing amazing. Service wasn't the best considering we were the only ones in there, food took a while to come out and you could tell they were sitting under the heat lamp a LONG time (plates were scolding hot and the food wasn't). Our server was very nice. The French fries were really good, crispy. The $9 cornbread was absolutely horrible, did not taste good at all. The coleslaw was not to our liking but wasn't awful. Bbq and doughnuts seemed like an intriguing combination which lured me in to this newly opened restaurant. The bbq takes about 30-50 minutes to prepare depending on your order. The recently opened Mission BBQ in the area has set the bar very high for speed of service. The manager and staff were extremely apologetic for my extremely long wait and remunerated me for my time. This was greatly appreciated As for the food the bbq was flavorful but a little dry. Presentation-wise the ribs looked beautifully sliced and arranged. The brisket looked haphazardly chopped and the pulled pork was minimally pulled/shredded. Bbq sauce has a nice sweet tang. Different Cheesesteak #1151. Tuesday drinks and cheesesteaks with Amigo Dan. We got a cheesesteak (half ribeye & half brisket), fried onions, mushrooms and candied bacon. Spoiler alert, a lot of flavor but a touch dry. We took the cheesesteak to Bellefonte Brewing. Then went back to 322 BBQ for donuts and old fashions with sara at the bar. Went for the burger ( two of us) and won't be returning. What an overpriced and greasy, tasteless meal. The bun seemed to be deep fried and the meat itself was poorly seasoned. I suggest the owners take a drive up the road to Uncle John's and sample a really delicious burger there. read more

For the price the flavor was bland on both the ribs and the pulled pork. I tasted the house BBQ sauce and was not impressed. Ended up using my own sauce. I will say the coleslaw and baked beans were good. The beans were loaded with pork or brisket. The mac n cheese was not very good. Lacked flavor. We had a bad experience. The young lady who was the hostess was blatantly rude to us and treated us like we were a problem. We were sat almost on top of people in the sun and asked to be moved. She starred at us with a look like "gosh I have to do my job" and we were crazy. Place was empty absolutely nobody came over to take our drink orders. The restaurant was very dirty with dirty plates on almost all of their tables and the floors and tables were sticky. There were workers just sitting around. no one helping at all. My family was looking for a place to eat on a Saturday night and 322 BBQ had openings and is new to Downtown Main Street. This was the first and last time I will be going there!! It is housed in the old Stone Balloon wine house location, and they did absolutely NOTHING to change the interior. This does not have a BBQ feel to it. The food. EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE with a very VERY confusing menu! You can get a Brisket sandwich for around $25 or you can buy brisket for the low, low price of $9.99 per 1/4 pound! Yup, that's right, $40 for a pound of mediocre smoked brisket! The staff is extremely nice and that is really all I have to say as a positive. I don't see this place lasting more than 1-year which is unfortunate. There are so many nicer places to eat with better food for the same or lower cost. There is no differentiator eating here. It's like going to an Outback or Applebees. They also advertise a 2.9% additional fee if you pay other than cash. It cost me $120 for 2 adults and 1 child. We did not get any alcohol, but we did get 2 okay-ish donuts for the again, low, low price of $10! Whomever decided to open up this location didn't do their due diligence. I do wish you the best of luck, but you should definitely go and do some post opening research on the restaurant scene around you. read more

In all the yrs that we have been going out to eat, we have never had a waitress, Tammy , that was down right unpleasant, rude and condescending. We came in a few minutes late for our reservation and the other people in our park were already seated at the table with their drinks. she finally came over and asked us if we wanted something to drink without a smile , without introducing herself, and then walked away in a huff, as if we asking for the impossible. My husband asked for the garlic shrimp poor boy. She brought him a fried shrimp sandwich. she argued that the didn't have that. Well, it was right on the menu! Begrudgingly, she took it back and surprise ,surprise out came garlic shrimp. unfortunately it was so smothered in sautéed onions that you couldn't tell that it was a garlic, flavored shrimp sandwich. Stopped in to try the brisket & pulled pork, but grabbed some donuts to try as well. Location was clean and inviting. Pretty busy, but not enough for anyone to be standing waiting to be seated. I could see traffic getting backed up given how close the "please wait to be seated" sign was to the door, and considering you can walk in and to the back of you just want to order food to go. Counter service seemed a bit confused about who should be taking what order, but everyone was really friendly and I got my order fast. Donuts were delicious. Brisket was tender and flavorful. My husband was very excited to see this coming, as he used to frequently go to one of their NJ locations when he worked in NJ. He hasn't worked over there in over a year so he hasn't had this bbq in a while!!! We stopped in on a weekend around lunch time right after they opened. They had been opened maybe a week and I don't think everything was even finished inside. My 8 year old son ordered two donuts (one to take home and one to eat there) and they warmed up the one he was eating there, I know one of them was a fruity pebbles donut. I can't recall what the other was. The donuts are very dense, but delish! My son enjoyed them. My husband had a breakfast burrito, which he said was alright. And I had the D&S burger which was amazing!!! I had a side of smoked bacon pit beans which were incredible, practically a meal itself. Our server was nice too and we got in and out pretty quickly. First time in after hearing great reviews from friends. A bit confusing on where to order food to go, since no one was at the hostess stand, but I was there when the space was the previous restaurant, and headed to the back of the store. Lots of workers milling about (I counted at least 7), but no one at the registers and a few customers standing and not sure where to go. The menu at the register was just breakfast, so here we are, no menu to look at, not sure which register is open.....Finally someone brought a stack of lunch menus to the register and I was able to order. I got the three meat sampler, which comes with two sides for about $40. Pulled pork was dry, brisket was tasty, ribs were average. Baked beans are delicious! Mac and cheese had no flavor. For $40, I was pretty disappointed. It also took about 15 minutes for the food to come up. We split a donut while we waited, which was borderline stale. Really good. Went in for a quick dinner with my daughter. We got the smoked wings w/bbq sauce, Max n cheese, and fries with brisket and cheese. The wings were awesome. Smokey flavor and I don't like typical bbq sauces wings but these were amazing. The fries were also really good, got to taste some of the brisket which was really good, I will be back for more and to try the ribs. The best local BBQ spot in two states! The prices are a bit high but the quality is there to justify it. Their smoked brisket is better than their whole hog pulled pork. Their smoked wings are a bit too dry for my liking. Where they shine is their burgers! The specialty burger changes every week and it's almost always great. I actually prefer their burgers over the nearby Kid Shelleen's location in BranMar Plaza. The fact that they also sell breakfast and high-end donuts inside the same location makes this a great new addition to the North Wilmington food scene. read more

Great atmosphere as soon as you walk in. There's options to sit inside or outside, take out, or bar seating. Service is friendly but a little slow, they're new, I give them that. So far my favorite thing I've tried is their brisket. I went for ribs and they were a little dry for my preference. They forgot my hot honey chicken sandwich but we managed to pick it up when we could come back, which is a plus to honor customers, most places don't anymore. When I did receive the chicken sandwich it was crispy and delicious. Their doughnuts are huge, big enough to share and quite tasty. I like how they're not overly sweet. We walked in getting donuts and then noticed there was a full bar and a great menu! We definitely were not expecting the amazing aroma of the bbq and huge selection of donuts. We gazed the donut section and everything looked delicious but then decided to eat at the bar and we were not disappointed at all. Our bartender Dani was so amazing she recommended so many different options. She made me and my partner very delicious bloody Maria's, were as I do not eat pork but my partner does and she gave my Jalapeño popper to her and she absolutely loved! We did indeed getting donuts and ate them at the bar and they were so delicious as well. Highly recommend this place because of all the variety it gives. Order the combo platter at 11:30am - sausage, brisket and ribs. Sausage was extremely dry to the point where the inside meat are to fall apart. It tasted like three day old sausage. The brisket was decent has a good smoky flavor and the ribs were good. Not sure if they gave me left over meat since I ordered in the morning but I will be hesitant to try this place again especially after paying around $40 read more

In January 2025 this was amazing in every aspect. We were so impressed with the food and service that we quickly returned the next month with a guest. We were so disappointed. It was evident that the management drastically changed. The portions used to be huge and were not (and it is a pricey place). The quality of the food was so-so, some things were undercooked and all the hot items were kinda warm. The service went from great to so-so. Hoping this 2nd experience was just a fluke, we returned in March with another guest. Unfortunately, it was the exact same, disappointing experience adding dirty appearing glasses. I prefer custom butchers and was happy to see one next door. *2 stars* raw meat is decent; donuts were good and glad didn't get sick after what I witnessed today; heat lamp brisket not for me ...it is very dry (lean brisket should not be jerky) Need a lot of improvement at the butcher, third time buying from them and all three times they have been very inefficient - staff not trained butchers, mislabeling, watch the tally as you pay. The meat case should not have pooling meat juice; stacking different meat products (pork sausage & chicken breast) the plastic filing is not a proper divider; and close to raw scallops? Meat eaters, Vegetarians, and Vegans Warning: Final prepping your donuts in close proximity with raw meat products is a very unpleasant sight, and taking hard pass on having them again. Stopped by on a Saturday to check out the new spot in the neighborhood. Finding good barbeque in the North Wilmington area is tough . (Not a fan of the Mission Barbeque food on #202. ) The #322 barbeque wait staff was super friendly and we were seated quickly. Place was very nice - casual with nice lighting. Menu includes your standard barbeque items as well as breakfast items. And they also have huge custom doughnuts that looked good. (Next time we will try doughnuts They serve breakfast until 2:00 pm but we went for the Que. ) I ordered a brisket cheese steak and my friend ordered the straight brisket sandwich. We both got sides of fries,as well. The brisket cheese steak was delicious. Tender, juicy and flavorful . There was a mild sauce available already on the table so that you can add as you like. All I can say is "Yesss. !! " My friend enjoyed her sandwich but it had some excess fat that she took pains to trim. But after cleaning that up, she said the sandwich was better. I gave her half of my sandwich and she said "I should of ordered that ! " LOL ! Fries were hot and tasty and she enjoyed her Cole slaw. I like mine a little creamier, but it was decent. We did speak to the Mgr to compliment him on the food and service . And to advise him about the fat content in my friend's brisket sandwich. He was very receptive and listened to our comments. I wanted to try a doughnut, but I was too full. Plus they are super sized and run about $4.00 . But they are huge !! All in all, I will be back. I wanna try the ribs next. On July 4, 2024 around 2:20pm I entered the establishment for the first time after reviewing their (Burger of the Week). There was a sign stating "Please Wait To Be Seated" but unfortunately, the host was unavailable. I walked to the back and noticed a female (Customer) waiting so I asked her if this was the take-out line and she said "Yes, I've been waiting on my order for some time". A young female (322 Employee) with braided white hair extensions stationed behind the register clearly heard me question the customer but never acknowledged my presence. I stood directly in front of the employee to catch her attention for approximately 10 minutes and she simply wouldn't speak. A second female (Customer) entered the establishment and asked me if I had placed an order yet. I laughed before stating "I've been patiently standing here for 10 minutes without any response". Once my frustration set in, it was best to just walk away and never return. As I started to leave the business parking lot I noticed the second female customer walk out. I asked her if they took her order and she stated "The girl with braids wouldn't even look at me so, I'll never come back here again" Hopefully the owner takes time to read these reviews and understands that Piss Poor (Customer Service) will destroy great businesses.
