I didn't get the bartender name but he was personable. This place was terrible. The servers never came over to see if I needed anything. It took me like 20 minutes just to get their attention. Honestly, the worst service I've had in a while. Would not recommend it! The food was also terrible. read more

Haven't been to the lounge but I totally do not recommend ordering food. It's robbery! I spent $31 for such little quantity! And they didn't offer any dipping sauce to say the least! And they had the nerve to add a gratuity. read more

I never leave reviews but I feel the need to do so for this place. I would never step foot in here again I've been coming here for 2 years and honestly every time I come there is a new rule or something has changed it's never consistent different management all the time. Always feel rushed once we sit down. And if you do go please don't get the 35 endless mimosas it's a complete rip off. Also tried to double charge us a tip on same bill terrible get it together. Y'all are making it hard to want to patronize black businesses. read more

Food good , security was for a prison, only to get inside and see the opposite of what the dress code required . We had a good time naturally , however this place is in a shopping center literally . The strict dress code , entry fee and the fake police at the door was totally uncalled for . Driving from Philly to Del , with about 9 guest , we should have been treated better . Our waitress was great . Food was tasty as I stated , but they need some courses in front of how to treat guest read more

My friends and I came here for my cousin's birthday and had the section free from 3-5. Our reservation was at 3 the waitress didn't come over until 3:30 to get our order. We ordered bottomless mimosas that took another 30 minutes to get to us. Then some of us never got our food or the food was given without the proper sides. My one friend had pancakes and by time they came out with her syrup 30 minutes later they were cold. They were taking so long bringing out the bottomless mimosas that within the 2 hr time frame we only got one round. The owner came over and gave us a complimentary bottle of champagne, and comped the food and gave us another round and let us stay in the section longer but he was completely rude about it and very cocky acting as if he did us a favor when in fact had everything been handled properly we would've been out by 5:00. This was a lot of our first time here for brunch and it was a terrible experience. We will NEVER be back here again. read more

I've been to this place about 5 time and never had any issue. Food is usually good, hookah is usually good but today was probably the last time I'll ever be back. I came in with a cream colored shirt on which looks nothing like white. I even had on white shoes so you can see the difference. Got inside and the security said I couldn't come in because "in the dark it'll look white" which didn't make sense but I went across the street and got a grey shirt from ShopRite. No biggie. About 40 minutes after I sit down and order food another guy comes in with the exact same color shirt on and he's let in because they know him and he's VIP and bought a table. If you're going to have a dress code then enforce it for everybody not just people that didn't buy VIP. I don't mind switching shirts but come on now, cream is obviously different from white. I'll never be back and I'll encourage people to do the same honestly. read more

I could have a cigarette and be warm in the winter. However, Vinny kicked me out because I said cigarette and actually laid his hands on me! I called 911. From the outside, it doesn't look like much; in fact, it looks like a bit of a dive from outside. But when you walk in, you are transported. The design of the restaurant is so special - community tables, pillows, tapestries, waterfall features, tiles, and belly dancing. The food was a little inconsistent. We shared many dishes: Bastilla (baked layers of filo dough, eggs, chicken, almonds, sprinkled with cinnamon and powdered sugar); hummus (chickpeas, tahini, crushed garlic, lemon juice, sprinkled with paprika and olive oil, served with pita bread); Spanakopita; salad trio (eggplant salad, cucumber and tomato salad, and carrot salad); lamb tagine (stew of lamb, onions, and roasted peppers topped with honey and served with rice); Moroccan chicken with harissa cumin sauce; mujaddara (cracked bulgur wheat cooked with lentils and caramelized onions); and mint tea. I wish they didn't serve bottled waters, and the food was mostly good but not the most consistent. Our mujaddara wasn't served with the yogurt sauce listed on the menu, and the lamb with the tagine was incredibly fatty, making some of it inedible. The mint tea was really really really sweet - like syrup! I also wish the bastilla had a little less powdered sugar (I like on the dish, but it was A LOT of powdered sugar), and it was quite dry. But the eggplant salad, carrot salad, hummus, and mujaddara (even without the yogurt sauce) were great. I would happily have eaten just those dishes. They were busy - it's a popular place - but service was also a challenge. It took us almost a half hour to get the check and pay. I had to ask for the bill twice and then it still took a while to get it, for it to get picked up, and for it to come back to us. It's pretty bad if I'm considering walking up to the bar to get the check and pay. I loved the ambiance and the character. I loved that you can't tell how amazing it's going to be inside when you see the outside of the building - it's a surprise for sure. Our experience was that the food was a bit inconsistent, but it certainly was a fun meal.

Here's my honest review.... This place is just ok.... Me&My 3 friends came here and paid well over $600 for a section....wellllll I went outside for 1 second to meet another friend who has never been to Delaware so she asked me to come outside to walk her in. Literally stands at the door to greet her.... The guard like "you walked out the door so u gotta pay $20 to get back in" .....what.... I have a whole section... I just spent well over $300 on my part of the section, food, & hookah... and it's only like 4pm... and u want me to pay $20 to get back in to my section. Now I understand my friend paying the $20 entry fee... but this dude seen me come outside the door for 1 second and I explained to him I have a section... he gave me attitude.. cool. I just paid it. I got wings and fries... that took well over 1 hour to get, just to not be hot. Wings and fries came to almost $30... they like add on theses extra little fees to everything. Also paid $18 for every time I needed new hookah coal. The only good thing I will say about this place is the Dj was good. read more
