I was driving from LA to Boston when I got a tornado warning. After I exited the freeway, I eventually made it to Five Guys because I needed to eat dinner. Unfortunately, because of the tornado warning, Five Guys and all the places I passed were closed or closing. When Five Guys found out I didn't have anywhere to go, they told me I could stay. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with lettuce, mayo, pickles. Small fry and chocolate milkshake. Despite the bun being stale, and the lettuce being the white ends of the wedge. The burger and bacon was good. Fries were crispy and well seasoned. Chocolate shake, good as always, great consistency. Restaurant was decently cleaned besides tables being wiped down after customers leave. Bathroom clean as well. *Edit in* as I pull my fries out of the bag found a hair in/on fries The workers were very respectful and apologetic, and they comped my fry. Excellent fast food place! Exceeded my expectations! I came in and ordered a cheeseburger with fries. Inside is very comfortable and super clean! I'm driving back home to NYC and was looking to stop by somewhere to eat and saw this place an hour from me and on the way so I cake here. Wait time is great! The guys working there were awesome! The burger is great, I loved everything about it. Tastes better than the picture that I left with this review! Fries a bit salty, but are still delicious. I ordered online for pick up! The process was easy and I had no problems. Now was it the best five guys meal I have ever had? No. The burger was smaller than other locations. Also the bacon was not crispy. The big con with this meal was the seasoned fries. Look at the picture! It was too much. The fries also could have been a bit more well done. Great place to come for a quick and not too expensive dinner. We stopped in after work when we had some other errands to do at Home Depot and some other places nearby and were pleased with our experience. The burgers were cooked well, and I love that there are so many topping choices free of charge. One thing to note about their burgers is that there burgers are large. The "regular" cheeseburger is actually made of 2 patties. I would have been happy to order the "little" cheeseburger but I mistakenly thought it was like a smaller kiddy size. Nope, just 1 burger patty, more of a traditional size burger in my opinion. The fries also come large. We were fortunate to have spoken too another couple who was eating, and so we decided to get the medium size for 4 adults rather than the large and we were happy we did. There fries are really delicious which is saying something because i'm not a big french fry person but they just give you so many extra, the fries were overflowing all over our bag. Satisfactory experience. Service was quick, food was fresh, no mistakes in filling our order. I love that you can choose a ton of different toppings without extra charge (like mushrooms and grilled onions). They have regular or Cajun fries, yum! I ordered the bacon burger and was surprised it had two beef patties. I think they should do a better job of communicating this fact. I was very satisfied with the quality of the burger and the fries. Be aware also that a large fries is enough for four people. I'm generally a fan of Five Guys burgers and have tried this location in Batavia a few times. The burgers have always been juicy and delicious. I'm also a big fan of Five Guys fries. One of things I enjoy most about Five Guys is you can get lettuce wrap and have the burger be Whole 30 friendly. Lots of the ingredients and toppings are compliant including the hot sauce. As burger places go Five Guys is always good. I don't know why some other reviews complained about this location; I've been there several times and never had a bad experience. I always feel like I should get the double and then regret not getting the single. Likewise with the fries, order a size smaller than you think you need because they give you a tone. Last few times we've been here the French fry orders have gotten smaller and smaller. This is a ridiculous penny pinching thing to do and leaves me as a customer feeling ripped off. Wasn't sure how to feel about Five Guys. I have heard such mixed things that I didn't want to get myself excited for nothing. However this was amazing. From the moment we walked in the service was great. The dinning room was super clean and there was always a worker coming out to clean it some more. The food was so delicious and fresh tasting. I love 5 Guys but first time in and my burger order was completely incorrect. Type of burger was right but all toppings wrong including ingredients that I cannot eat (allergies). I ordered a hamburger to go with ketchup, lettuce and tomato along with a drink and fries. What I got was a hamburger with double ketchup, but that wasn't the real problem. I have heard about how great this place is. I was looking forward to having the best burger I ever had. So, I got my burger. It was barely warm, cold enough that the cheese did not melt. The patties were over cooked. They were actually crunchy. Flavor was bland. The roll was ok. Fries were only OK. They were only warm, soggy and greasy. We did get a second order and they were better. The bill was $57 for 5 of us. Not worth it at all. Much better burger at Wendy's. Went to sit at a table, restaurant was empty, and tables were dirty. This was disappointing.
