I went for the smallest size sub on wheat with turkey, honey mustard, lettuce and tomato. Classic and simple. Hubby got the bigger Italian sub on white bread. I also got a side of macaroni salad, because I absolutely love East Coast noodle salads. Our food came out fast and our orders were both correct. The small sandwich was perfect for me, but it would definitely be too small for those with larger appetites. My wheat bread was clearly overcooked and a little dry, which was a major disappointment. The turkey was like a processed turkey loaf which also let me down. I also didn't have enough mustard on my sub. Hubby didn't have any comments on the meats on his sub, but he said they weren't the best he'd ever had. He raved about his bread and the oil and other toppings. The macaroni salad was my favorite thing, it was tangy and sweet and delicious. I did think the portion size of the side was far too small. I'll definitely come back to DiBella's, but I'll try the white bread as well as different meat next time (or maybe just veggie and no meat at all). I found the quality of the deli meat lacking, which was a big disappointment. However, there's enough to like about the subs and the prices are more than fair, so they deserve another shot.
