I don't know why they only receive two stars. Maybe some people eat more fast food than I do, have the most non-ideal bowel movements, and then write these reviews while not feeling the greatest. Possibly the worst experience I have had at Wendy's. Walked in about 2:30 on July 15. Ordered the Spicy Chicken Fillet combo to go. While waiting for the sandwich and fries I poured my soda. No ice. Warm soda. Picked up my order and returned to my car. There I discovered the fries were only a little warmer than the no ice soda. Began eating the sandwich east bound on Rt. 90. The first few bites were okay. Should have been warmer. The middle of the sandwich? Undercooked. End of meal. Inedible fries, warm soda, and and undercooked sandwich. This Wendy's is my top pick for fast food drive thru orders when combining ease and deals of mobile app and food quality and order accuracy. Rewards add up pretty fast on the app and I love redeeming them for Frostys, nuggets, jr bacon cheeseburgers, or baconators/breakfast baconators. My food quality is always good here as far as it being fresh and warm/hot. Or cold if it's a drink. I don't get it. Why does this location have so many bad reviews? I must be the lucky one who actually had only a positive experience there. We used the app to order our food choosing drive thru pick up option. The original chicken sandwich was good with a super crunchy, flavorful piece of meat. I enjoyed every bite of my half sandwich, with no complaints. Yes, we asked them to cut the sandwich in half, no problems although it crushed the bun a little. I won't ask for this favor anymore, not sure it was a good idea. Compared to the photos by the business and customers, our sandwich was rather small. Maybe if our fries weren't free, I would think $5.99 is too much for what we've got. The 'Baconator Fries' were outstanding. I don't remember when I had Wendy's the last time, but I had no idea how good their fries could be. They were perfectly golden, hot and crispy, with melted cheese and delicious, beautiful pieces of bacon on the top. Believe me, there were a lot of big pieces of tasty bacon! It's a cheat day, so let's start the day with sampling a couple of items from the new Wendy's breakfast menu on the way to work. The thought of an iced coffee and frosty together in one beverage sounded like a match made in heaven! We purchased the regular bacon, egg and cheese sandwich combo that came with seasoned potatoes and a beverage. We also got a chicken honey butter breakfast biscuit. The vanilla frosty-cchino was pretty good, although I feel like it needed way more "frosty" in it. I would probably get it again. The breakfast sandwich was fresh and had very crispy bacon on it. The bun was soft and had a bit of an English muffin feel. The chicken biscuit was great. Soft and yet crispy biscuit with a tasty and well seasoned chicken patty. I am BEYOND pissed. so for a little backstory, me, Kaylor Aaron, was chillin with the family on a calm soothing night. We decided to door dash wendys to quench my hunger. i ordered a a 20 piece saucy nugget and a large lemonade. after about an hour my food arrived. i eagerly dug into to it to find i got not a 15 piece nugget but a FUCKING 12 PIECE. not only is this 8 less then what i ordered but i only got a single blue cheese packet and i am already pissed but i decide i can just wash it off with some cold lemonade. Went to Wendy's around 9:45pm on 11/21/24. There was one car at the window in the drive thru. I pulled up to place my order and was told to "please wait". 5 min later I asked "hello" and was told to please wait as the car ahead ordered a lot of food. A total of 10 min and finally I was waited on. When I pulled up to the window I observed 2 female employees talking to each other at the front counter, one was on her phone, the other chewing her nails. I did notice another employee who was handling the window rushing around trying to get things done. I then noticed one of those two female employees come to the soda machine, fill up a new cup of soda and start drinking it. The second female employee followed suit. I asked the girl who was helping us and running around if those two girls have helped at all, and she rolled her eyes and said no. I then asked if they are her bosses and she said one of them is. Absolutely pathetic to see these employees taking advantage of the business and their fellow employees and doing nothing to help. I ask management to Please look at your cameras you have throughout the place and correct this poor employee behavior. The lady at the speaker and at the window was very polite, sweet and courteous. However, it took them 11 minutes to get our order which is a very long time, and they got the order wrong. This Wendy's location is by far the worst Wendy's I've ever been to. I have lived in this area for a year and waited to officially leave a review because I didn't want to make a judgement call based on one experience here. This review summarizes about 6 experiences I've had since April of 2018. This Wendy's is the exact opposite of fast food. The drive thru takes way longer than any fast food place I've ever eaten at. Every time I've tried eating here, the fries are stale and borderline room temp at best. It's really disappointing because the Wendy's in the area I lived at previously in Rochester, NY was amazing. Food tasted great, service was superb, and the people I interacted with were personable. This Wendy's is the exact opposite. If you are looking for fast food, I recommend going to the Dairy Queen across the street, or even driving a mile down the road to McDonalds. You will be extremely disappointed with the food and service here. The only reason I gave this location 2 stars instead of 1, is because they at least meet the consistency of the junior bacon cheeseburger. This has always been my go to at any Wendy's location, and they keep it consistent here. By the time you get it, it's pretty cold. But at least the flavor still matches other Wendy's flavor profile. This location really needs to rework their entire way of running this amazing franchise. So much potential, but don't see it improving since it's gotten worse over the last 12 months. read more

Than to have to hear "canto help you repeatedly when the drive through IS NOT moving, which you should know, shows how this location has no clue as to what is going on with their customers. I pulled out of there after waiting the unacceptable amount of time, so, they can't eat the order, if not, mess up every order that was behind me. There is a reason this restaurant is AKA "Bendy's." And that reason is: All of the people working here are very flexible, which would be amazing if they were participating in the circus or in adult movies (or both, simultaneously... what isn't sexy about clowns?) but unfortunately the food is probably the worst of any fast food chain... super super friendly employees at this location though... but still horrendous atrocious food. I've been to this particular Wendy's probably 15 times since I live close by and drive by all the time. I usually get a frosty, but only when I am desperate. The employees are decently friendly but the availability of my product is not. And the one saving grace (the Frosty), seems to never be available in the late evening. They switch off the machines a few hours early or something, so they can get out of there on time. But for someone who wants a Frosty at 10.30pm or 11.30pm when they close at 12, as the Vietnamese Mafia would say... fugeddabahdit. But my goodness you should see how Bendy they are at Bendy's. read more

Staff was incredibly nice! On the closing shift of 5/5, our group went to Wendy's after we saw a movie. The staff let us know that they were closing the dining room in 10 minutes. However, after befriending them, they let us stay in the dining room for over an hour because they were so kind. Will definitely be back after future movies. Great customer service! read more

I don't go to this location often because it's on the other side of Transit on my commute home and just not convenient to get to--plus my son prefers BK nuggets, which comprise about 90% of his diet. I have no complaints about the food (I assume the reader's familiarity with standard Wendy's fare). My typical order is one of the salads, and who can resist the occasional Frosty! But the service... good lord. It needs work. We went to the drive-thru and ordered 2 of the full-size chicken salads (no modifications) and a medium Frosty. Only one car in front and they were gone by the time we paid. The Frosty came up quick--but he didn't hand us a spoon or even a straw. We then proceeded to wait at least 5-6 minutes for 2 (what I assume are largely pre-made except for heating the grilled chicken) salads. My Frosty half-melted while we waited, but finally got the order. We checked the bag -- no spoon. Had to repeat the request 3 times as he somehow couldn't hear us (maybe because of the headset). One would think a spoon is a standard if ordering a Frosty, especially if you're going to hand it out first and take 5+ minutes to complete a simple order without ever once checking back or apologizing for the wait. There were at least 3 cars lined up behind us by the time we left. So yeah, if you're in the mood for Wendy's, I suggest trying another location if you have an option. Other than her dyed hair, tattoos, reluctance to exercise and general blame the world for her failure to graduate high school she was great. Wendy's was my favorite fast food chain as a kid. I could care less about McDonald's, BK, etc. Their homestyle chicken sandwich has been my favorite fast food item since I first I had one 27 years ago (or there about). And I love that they offer a baked potato side option. Another favorite food item of mine in general. Came here today with mom for lunch. They've renovated the inside of this Wendy's. It's much cleaner and brighter than it was years ago. The employees were friendly and personable. One of the ladies working even recognized my mom as being a Blockbuster patron at the location she once worked at. Haha! Anyway, the food was delicious (my fave chicken sandwich was perfect), the service was efficient and friendly, and the dining area was bright and sunny. Great lunch! read more

I know most people won't read this but I'm going to rip them however I can. I own stocks in the company because I believe they are good and well run. This location however is a joke. They messed up my order, fine no big deal, but refuse to make it right. I brought it home to eat and realized it was wrong. I reached out to customer service who passed along the issue to the owner/manager or whoever. At first I just wanted to couple of bucks back for the difference of an upgrade that I didn't get, nothing unreasonable or too difficult. Well 10 days later still no response so I followed up and they expedited my concern. I got a response a few hours later offering me a sandwich and fries. Had it not taken 10 days to get a response for a simple fix and had the email not sounded lazy I probably would've just said yes. Instead I told them I want a refund for the wrong items and for the awful customer service that the manager has shown. They said "that's fine then". Like okay so are you refunding the card or what? In most cases people would say I'm refunding the card you used it will be back to you in 2-3 days or whatever but nope not here obviously the person I spoke with who's name is Dave needs some sort of customer service lessons. So naturally I asked how long the refund will take to appear because based on their track record I figured I'd have to hound them for that. I was then informed I have to come to the store for it. Like you want me to inconvenience myself again by going into your store after your team messed up my order and then you failed to respond for nearly 2 weeks and when you did respond you acted like you could careless? Heck no. At this point multiple emails have gone unanswered and I have started a dispute with my credit card company and filed a complaint with the attorney generals office. A lot of this is overkill and easily could be avoid if they just have the smallest level of customer service but Dave really screwed them here. I will not spend another dime at this location and if Dave is the owner I will find out what locations he owns and never go there either. Dave I hope you like NYS investigations because I will encourage them to pursue any legal backing they can against your store to put you under.
