Receipt of my order
Noa R.

I had a great experience at Five Guys! I ordered a bacon burger with one patty, but my order came with two. When I brought it to the cashier's attention, k'aaumoana was very kind and understanding. He offered me a refund or to have a new burger made, and he ended up making me a completely new order and giving me a refund. His customer service was excellent. He was genuinely kind, professional, and willing to make things right. Employees like him make a big difference in the customer experience. I truly believe he deserves a raise for his outstanding customer service! Thank you for taking care of me and making sure I left satisfied. Five Guys is lucky to have an employee like him! Sorry, I didn't get a chance to take any pictures because I already ate all the food! Everything was too good!

@fortunefoodfinds: "Time FRIES! My son turned 5 years old n' we started his birthday festivities with FIVE GUYS located at Pearlridge Center in Aiea. One of his top foods that he asks for are burgers so it only made sense to go here. Ordered a bacon cheeseburger, grilled cheese, fries, pb milkshake, n' last but not least, got a little cheeseburger for birthday boy. He was happy n' got to enjoy!" SERVICE: 3 out of 5 in terms of friendliness. A smile wouldn't hurt when being given your food n' when asking for utensils, you shouldn't feel like it's a burden INTERIOR: good amount of seating but can get filled up quickly. Crowded in between some chairs due to table placing. EXTERIOR: located at Pearlridge Center WAIT TIME: 15 minutes PARKING: free mall lot OVERALL COMMENTS: haven't had Five Guys in maybe a decade where my last time was in Cali. Knew that I wanted to take my son here for his 5th birthday bc he loves burgers. It's just how I remembered, burgers wrapped in foil, which can make it soggy although I get it, that's their style. Burgers were good, fries were generous, milkshake was creamy. Aside from the service, we still enjoyed our food n' I'm glad my son liked his meal.

I came to Five Guys before my massage appointment this evening. The restaurant was pretty quiet and not too crowded. I ordered a little bacon burger in a bowl with regular fries and a drink. I let them know that I had a food allergy to sesame. I did overhear the asking what type of allergy I had. I decided to eat in. I got my food immediately and it was delicious. If I am back in the area around mealtime, I would come back.

SCAM. $9.62 for large fries and this is what they give me?! Are you fucking kidding me.

This place has the best, juiciest hamburgers and their fries are to die for. You must try this place, and if you use the Upside app (which I love) you get 20 percent back of what you spend. A plus plus situation!

I'm honestly really disappointed with my experience at Five Guys. From the moment we walked in, the staff was giving us dirty looks and whispering to each other while staring at us. It made the whole atmosphere uncomfortable and unwelcoming. Instead of feeling like valued customers, we felt judged and talked about. To make matters worse, when we got our food, the fries were mostly the small crunchy pieces from the bottom of the container. Anyone who's been to Five Guys knows their fries are usually one of the best parts of the meal, but this batch felt like we were given leftovers instead of a fresh serving.Overall, the combination of rude behavior and low-quality food made this a really disappointing visit. I hope management addresses the customer service issues because no one should feel uncomfortable just for walking in to order food.

I haven't been here in years even though I'm at Pearlridge a lot. I opted for Genki next door, while the hubby ate here. He got a cheeseburger $12.79 and a regular fries $7.29. The food here is pricey. It came to around $19 and that's without a drink. The burger is a decent size and you get to put whatever toppings you want on it. The beef they use is all natural. Their fries are homemade and they still give out complimentary peanuts. The food was good. No complaints. Hey, you get what you pay for.

I had a Double Patty -cheese - onion - lettuce - mayo - ketchup - pickle and Bacon. Tasty burger but hard to eat. Sloppy, I guess next time I won't ask for too much add ons. The fries were soggy not crispy! Maybe because they were just about to close for the day. I'll try again another day maybe lunchtime.

3 buns and a wrap..

Good burgers here! Like being able to add toppings. I prefer a lettuce wrap. They do that well. Like the peanuts that they have. Before it used to be in the open. But of course Covid... however if you ask them it's given in a brown bag.

Today I revisited Five Guys here in Hawaii. First time I tried it, I was traveling with my cousin in the Northern Cali a decade ago. It was amazing that first time. Because back then a burger place was a fast food place. Here was Five Guys, burgers cooked to order, 100% beef patties smashed one at a time. Served right off the grill. For that I'm willing to pay more for "just a hamburger ". You have so many condiments to choose from! Next time I'll skip the bacon on mine and just have pickles and grilled onions, lettuce and mayonnaise. The meat patties are so good on its own. The service was excellent, patient and helpful with helping me choose my burger. The shakes are extra thick. Yum! So it was just as good this time. I missed the peanut shells on the floor.

Mind you he was working by himself. He managed to seat me and my wife in 20 mins, despite being busy on a saturday. Our waitress was great too! However, they told me they don't take reservations and to just walk in. Well, we got there and had to wait 58 minutes before we got seated. Pro tip: just have them put you down on the list. Don't listen about not taking reservations for large parties. I found out after that a group of 8 got reservations for 6:30 so I was quite unhappy about that. It didn't help that there was a table with 3 people who were there since 3pm (it was already 7:58 at this point) who were still occupying the tables and the staff couldn't make them leave. They eventually moved them to another smaller table, but they could have done that sooner, just saying. Not the restaurant's complete fault, people can be extremely inconsiderate but there maybe should be a system for dealing with these types of situations. All they had were empty bottles, they were not ordering anything. Anyway, we finally got seated, and as expected, the food didn't disappoint. We got the Tasty Chicken (always a must), boneless kalbi (super tender and flavorful), loco moco (one of the best on the island) and oxtail soup (theirs is pretty solid). We also got pumpkin crunch, strawberry crunch, and cream cheese brownie. Everything was amazing as usual and they all said it was the best food they had on-island during their trip. The food was worth the wait, but, that wait could've truly been avoided. It's not somewhere you take a first date unless you are bowling because it is super loud. It is located in an out of the way, not really scenic spot. Parking can be a bear. But it remains to be one of those tried and true "local" spots that never fail to please. *Rating is solely for the food and reliability of the excellent flavors and quality of the food

What I received was made exactly how it was shown (I did request for the breaded shrimp to have the saucy drizzle, which the chef was happy to do. Thank you!). The weight of the plate was heavy. You get your moneys worth n' we even had leftovers. The shrimp was crispy n' delicious, the sliced ribeye was tasty n' had a good sweet sauce on it, the porkhash was moist n' flavorful (woulda been even more bomb if it came with the spicy shoyu sauce), the tuna mac with corn was a nice refreshing side, n' the char siu fried noodles complimented everything well. I decided on the Nothing Mayjah plate that had teriyaki beef, mac salad, two shrimp tempura, 3 pork hash, and fried noodles which covered the whole bottom of the plate. The actual plate looked very similar to the sample ones they had on a table in front the truck. The teriyaki beef slices had good flavor but were a bit dry as they were cooked ahead of time. The Mac salad had tuna and corn in it which was different. The shrimp tempura didn't seem to have well defined pieces of shrimp inside, more like batter with bits of ground up and reformed shrimp. The pork hash were great with good flavor. The noodles covered the whole bottom of the plate (no rice) and had green onions, char siu, and kamaboko. Unfortunately the noodles were bland and could have used more seasoning. I still enjoyed the plate and you can't beat the amount of food you get for the price. If a few things were improved on they would get 5 stars! I'd be happy to try other plates from them and see if the quality varies.
