We went here for Saturday dinner. We ordered two noodle soups - one with readied beef and one with swai fillet. Pictures with more details. There are two staff in the front. STARS -Food quality is so good. Good variety of meat, quail egg, vegetable, broth and noodles -Multi color noodles are so unique and delicious -Tomato and original soup broth are tasty. Not too salty -Price is reasonable and affordable -Option of complimentary water or sweet tea drink (water was in recyclable cup with cap for kids) -Complimentary salted peanuts and picked vegetables also provided -East order system with QR code -Great customer service including making share sun glare was not in our eyes, offering refills for drinks and offering containers without prompting -Clean bathroom -Booster seat and high chair available -Not too many television screens (only one) - plus for me since I want to reduce screen time for family STAIRS (areas of growth) -Wish they offered kid utensils and straws that were compostable but most restaurants seem to do the same -Would be good if bathroom has baby changing table . I didn't see one. -Recommend a discounts to help bring loyal customers back (e.g. BOGO on special occasions, free birthday meal with at least 1 paid meal) TIPS -Senior discounts on Tuesdays -Free snack for kids on Wednesdays -Yelp check in has 10% off coupon -Portions are pretty big and filling so you could eat your own bowl if you are hungry or share if you are not hungry or don't eat a lot I feel this place is very underrated and more people need to know how awesome this place is!

We have been here a few times, and this place has never disappointed us. We love their spicy and non-spicy soup noodles. Also, they serve very decent bowls. They serve very nice hot tea and appetizers. The staff is always friendly. The shop is clean and has many seats. The plaza has plenty of parking. And close by YI Fang.

If you're wondering if it's worth it? The answer is YES. 5 Grains is quite up there in my list of authentic Chinese noodle list. This place and Ox 9 go head to head. The pork ear dish is soo goood, def worth getting. Overall, highly reccomend!

Walked by & decided I was in the mood for trying something new instead of our usual take out spot. Ordered fish soup noodle & a dry noodle. They gave me a lovely hot tea that tasted of dates while I waited. Service as great & I liked the cute & super clean interior. Devoured the good at home before any photos- but we enjoyed it a lot & plan to return & dine in next time.

Spicy hot and sour fish soup ...Yumm 10/10

Best fish soup I ever had ! Spicy and sour grain noodles fish soup is our favorite. We all loved it. It's definitely spicy and not too sour which makes it perfect. 5 grain noodles have very nice texture. Fish ball soup has mild broth with (May be) hint turmeric or something. This soup is very soothing. I think it's is good choice if you want to avoid spice. I also enjoyed Hot and sour dry noodles. They are room temperature not hot. The sauce is hot (spicy) and sour. Again, the flavors are really good. They topped it with nice fried peanuts and cucumber which we loved. There is cute little complimentary starter with pickled radish and peanuts. It's very nice and refreshing. Pleasant ambiance. Staff is warm and welcoming We'll definitely visit again.

I recently saw this restaurant featured on IG and decided to try it out since it seemed unique. I was really intrigued by the grain noodles and fish. Decided to get a bowl of the spicy & sour flavor noodle soup with snakehead fish. The meal came with 2 free sides, peanuts and some sort of lightly pickled vegetable. The spicy & sour noodle soup broth was honestly the perfect mix. It wasn't super spicy but still had a kick that mixed well with the sourness. It looked like there were 3 or so different colored noodles. Pretty thin noodles that were cooked well. Different from the typical beef noodle soup noodles, which are quite chewy. The snakehead fish was super tender and picked up the spicy & sour flavor well. There's some other additions like tofu, fried tofu, quail eggs, lettuce, etc. Overall, I really enjoyed this meal. It was something I never had and turned out to be delicious. I wanted to try the tomato broth as well, so I'll have to come back for that. Service was quick and staff was very kind and helpful.

What a steal!! We happened to come during Customer Appreciation Week and got 12% off. For 3 people, we shared: 1. A Combo - fish noodle soup with pig ears + soy milk 2. Dry ground pork noodle What we appreciate about the combo is it's a great deal. You get the same size noodle bowl but a good amount of the side and choice of a beverage (we chose warm soy milk). It was my first time trying the fish noodle soup and I was a big fan! The dry ground pork noodle was also good but wasn't my favorite. My other two friends though really enjoyed this dish. Separately, they have little side dish of radish and peanuts + complimentary tea (that's longan and red date?!) which is nice. Definitely would come back again if I'm craving fish noodle soup! In general, service is super fast (and you order via your phone with a QR code at your table!)

Braised beef shank and beef tendon

Summary: Good portions, cheaper than average prices, but misleading senior discount. My parents and I came across this place by chance. (Originally we were going to the beef noodle place nearby, but there were concerns about it being too yeet-hay.) The menu looked interesting, five grains noodles, so we decided to try it. When we walked in, we saw a poster that said they offer senior discount of 10% on tuesdays, which happened to be today. The multicolored noodles were al dente, with generous portions of fish. The (hot and sour) sour cabbage/ fish noodles was 3 chili signs but we were able to have it modified to mild. The fish noodle soup was had a nice light milky fish broth. The braised beef shank and tendon was mildy spicy. Yum The tea they offered tasted like warm monk fruit water. This was a nice touch and anti-yeet-hay. Overall the meal was good, reasonably priced, good portions. However, the senior discount they advertised was a little misleading. My dad asked about the discount at checkout and they said, no you need to have ordered two spicy noodle dishes. It doesn't say that on the poster, but we didn't argue since the prices were already low. Total bill with tax was $38 Easy parking, and plenty of seats.

Original grain noodle with snakehead fish

Comfortable decoration with fish lanterns hanging on the ceiling and a big wall art highlighting the grains, very earthy warm yet bright ambiance. The tea they serve is mock fruit red date tea, pure clean ingredients and naturally sweet yet healthy. Love it! I tried the original grain noodle in fish soup with snakehead fish. The broth is rich and thick, the fish fillets are silky smooth, the quail eggs are soft inside and the tofu is also silky soft, the whole dish is warm and delicious! I thought five grain noodle means rolling all five grains into the noodle dough, but it's actually 5 kinds of thin noodles in the bowl. The noodles are made from 5 different kinds of grains so you see white, green, yellow, grey colors of noodle strands. The noodles hold up well on its own. I drank a lot of the broth first, ate the one large piece of lettuce, tried the fish fillet, ate one quail egg and finally got to the noodles. Even half into the meal time, the noodles are still not soggy. The sliced beef rice is also good. Soft beef and good flavor of sauce to go with the white rice. The steamed broccoli is fresh and appetizing. Service is courteous and friendly. Tables and chairs were wiped, tea was refilled, and a small free appetizer of pickle and peanuts was served. I would hope the food came a bit faster but overall a very satisfying experience. I wish I saved room to try their desserts next time.

Five Grains Noodle House opened where Firepoint BBQ & Noodle was. Decor definitely changed. Seating is 15+ tables though it looks bigger from outside. Order from QR code on table. Had problem when the "39" app. Couldn't navigate inputing the "password" 2 factor authentication system. Server placed my order.. Within minutes, was served soup, appetizers, snacks. Main soup just 5 to 10 minutes. System efficiently moved food quickly Offerings: Five Grains (rice, corn, sorghum, peas, buckwheat) Noodle Soups & its variants (beef, pork, fish, others) with many broth options, dessert, drinks, beers, dry noodles, rice plates, appetizers & snacks, soups, combos... Eats: combo with snakehead fish noodle soup (23.75) Comped salted peanuts, sliced radish -fresh, tasty, yummy.. - tea: robust flavor, not watery tea bag kind. Tendon appetizers -not tuff chewy, tender thinly sliced. Slight chew. Yum! Cloud soup-listed as option under "drink" -actually a dessert, semi-sweet "soup" with hydrated snow fungus, gogi berries, mini lychee. -everyone would like this, especially young patrons Snakehead Fish Five Grain Noodle Soup -rich milky broth tasting like tonkotsu with cabbage, vegetables, pickled cabbage, green onions, cilantro.. -noodles al dente, taste similar to rice noodles. - smooth, crispy fish, fried silken tofu, silken tofu, quail eggs paired well with slurpy noodles 4.71 stars. Luv snakehead fish version, unsure how other soup options taste like.

Beef Noodle with Braised Beef (solid 4.5 out of 5!). Very generous with protein.

Overall 4.5 out of 5 THE GOOD ° The beef noodle with braised beef was a banger! (4.5 out 5) - very generous with braised beef! ° Wife got the Numb & Spicy fish soup (5 out of 5) - generous with the amount of fish too. ° They have fries for the young ones and those who cannot appreciate a good noodle dish. ° Tables are consistently cleared and cleaned quickly. ° Decorations are nice. ° Friendly service. THE BAD ° Initially forgot to get us waters. - They did make up for it though. The server noticed and had waters brought asap. ° I wish the spoons are a bit more surface area. The noodles are slippery and it was hard to get them to stay on the spoon. THE UGLY ° Nothing On a more comedic note, I made my oldest and pickiest son try the broth. His comments were, "It's taste a little bit ugly (probably meant the way it looks) but it's good!". Hey, I'll take it!

We were craving noodles and decided to try this place since we are always here in the area for boba. The place was buys but not too busy where you couldn't find any seats. The menu and ordering is through the QR code. We asked for tea but the tea is not to our liking. It tasted like there's sweetness added and the flavor wasn't that good. I would suggest just getting water. What we ordered: Braised beef noodle soup. Rice noodle soup with pickled string beans and minced pork. Both soup flavor is spectacular! The braised beef itself could have been better. The beef didn't have a good texture and was pretty rough. The string beans with minced pork was good. I wish both bowls had a bit more noodles. Usually going to a noodle place I leave pretty stuffed but I was still hungry. I definitely would come back and try other things. Not bad place, price is pretty good with decent food.

Revisiting this restaurant just a week after our first visit, tried 3 new noodle soups (tomatoes soup base, spicy and sour base and original fish soup base) and they are all very satisfying! This will become my go to spot for fish soup based noodles!

Final Thoughts: 4.50/5…read more It's not often that I'm in the Fremont area, but I was today, so I decided to take advantage of that and go out for a dinner with my friend after work. After some filtering and choosing, we decided on Korean food. Truly always my go-to choice. The food here really did not disappoint and hit the spot after a long day. Overall, will be a 5 star from me. Food: Spicy Braised Beef Short Rib + Cheese and Rice Cakes: 4.5/5 This was their beef short rib with onion and potato. We always get it with the rice cake and cheese on top because those are truly a must for this dish. The braised beef short ribs are super tender and you could cut though it with a spoon. Their meats are nicely marinated into the sauce and super tender. The sauce is really the star of this dish and they seasoned it really well. There's some kick to it, sweet, salty, and umami. I would eat this sauce alone with rice or noodles if I had the choice. The rice cakes are a little too soft for me and I would have preferred for it to have more of a bite. Again, not really complaining because the sauce made up for it. For the cheese, it's mostly just piled on top of the dish. They're not like other places where they torch the cheese to melt it for us. We just mixed it into the sauce and it melted all the way through for that cheese pull. There's no smokiness, but not a big concern for me. It melted well into the sauce and made it taste amazing though. Fried Chicken (8 Pieces) - Soy Garlic + Hot and Sweet Sauce: 4.3/5 This was more of our side dish/appetizer dish. The sauce is a little too salty for my taste, but honestly, I wasn't really complaining. Something I do like is the consistency of it. It's like this sticky sauce that coats the crispy coating of the chicken well. This dipped into the spicy braised short rib sauce was such an amazing combination too. My preference was the soy garlic. The flavor is just so classic. Hot and sweet is good too. There is a good kick to it and a nice balance of flavors overall. When the chicken came out, it was piping hot. Very juicy and I could feel that when I tried to take a bite out of it. Crispy on the outside and nicely cooked all the way through. Banchan: Good variety They provide kelp noodle salad, kimchi, edamame, mashed tofu, Korean yellow pickled radish, and fish cakes. I actually liked all of these expect for the kimchi. I have a specific preference for kimchi, so definitely just a preference in taste kind of a thing. Lovely textures for all of them. The tofu confused us initially, but it's very good protein for me and I'm not complaining about my foods being mechanically altered. --------- Quality: Made to order Their meats seem to be of optimal quality. That or the cut is just really good and they've been braising it for hours now. Super tender and will just come off the bones. The meats are cut into pretty large pieces, so I would cut it into about four pieces. This was doable with a spoon, which says a lot. Of note, we could hear the fryer sound in the back. Crossing fingers that was to freshy fry our chicken. Items also came out piping hot, which is just how I like it. The short ribs was inside of a stone pot and it was just boiling and bubbling away. Always a plus to see. Price: Typical Bay Area Prices The price ranges will depend on what you get. For the two items that we got today, it was around $60. Seems fair for the portion sizes provided. We also had leftovers to bring home. Again, the prices will range from about $15 to $25. Typical Bay Area prices. Service: Fairly Fast My friend and I were actually the only two people there. Honestly, I'm not complaining for us. I'm actually not sure why they're not more popular because their food was made really well for us. Side note, but if I had it my way, I would probably inhale the remainder that we took home with us. Their food was made to order because we did hear the food being cooked. They did come out with the food fairly quickly. Service was alright and they were quite nice about everything. Ambiance: Late Night Eats Vibes This place really gives me the late night eat vibes. They do sell the items that I see in the Korean dramas where they would go out for a drink and some food. They do have nice options for dinner though. Of note, they do stay open quite late, which I am totally here for. Interior is spacious and their music choice is straight from my playlist, which I really like. Location/Parking: Long Plaza This place is a little farther for me, but I still like exploring around as some food places are worth driving a little farther for. This place is on Cedar Blvd and its quite a long plaza. There's like multiple connections in this plaza along with their entrances. They do have some other shops and restaurants here too. Parking didn't seem to be an issue for me at all. They seem to have enough spaces around for this scale of an area.

The giant lotus chandeliers, the deep violet lighting, the old-school banquet hall atmosphere - it immediately reminded me of the large Cantonese restaurants that used to define family dining in the Bay Area years ago. But after eating here during a packed weekend dinner service, I realized the real attraction is not the decor. It is the operational consistency. The dining room was completely full, with a long line of people still waiting outside. Under that kind of pressure, many large Chinese restaurants start losing control somewhere: fried dishes soften, stir-fries lose wok hei, food arrives unevenly, service becomes rushed. Fusion Delight somehow keeps the system together. And what impressed me even more was that the staff never became impatient. Even with the restaurant running at full capacity, the servers stayed friendly, patient, and organized. No chaos, no attitude - just steady service under pressure. That is not easy in a restaurant this size. The Mongolian beef was the first thing that stood out. Instead of thin slices hidden under sauce, the beef here is cut unusually thick and long - some pieces nearly two inches. Thick-cut beef is risky because once overcooked it immediately turns tough, but here the meat stayed tender while still carrying proper wok sear and caramelization. That tells me the kitchen understands heat control and timing. The crispy pork intestines were even more impressive. These were clearly braised first, then fried before the final stir-fry. The outside kept its gelatin-rich texture while the inside still carried fat and aroma, but without the unpleasant odor that ruins this dish at weaker restaurants. Even people who normally avoid intestine dishes could probably eat this version comfortably. That level of cleaning and pre-processing matters. The braised lamb with skin was another old-school banquet dish done correctly. The lamb was soft without collapsing, while the skin still retained structure. More importantly, the prep work was meticulous -- no gamey smell, no rough trimming, no shortcuts. The sea cucumber and pork tendon dish also showed strong banquet-kitchen fundamentals. The pork tendon had clearly been oil-expanded beforehand, giving it that proper soft and elastic texture instead of rubbery chewiness. The sea cucumber still retained bite and structure. The Singapore-style rice noodles and scallop egg white fried rice were textbook Cantonese banquet staples. The rice noodles stayed dry and separated while still carrying wok aroma and oil fragrance. The scallop egg white fried rice looked simple, but every grain remained distinct and lightly coated without clumping together. That level of consistency under volume is difficult. Even the red bean dessert soup at the end was handled carefully. The red beans still held their shape instead of dissolving into paste, while the sago remained fully intact and translucent. Most restaurants stop caring once dessert leaves the kitchen. Fusion Delight clearly does not. And honestly, that may be the best way to describe this restaurant overall. Fusion Delight is not trying to be trendy. It is not trying to become minimalist fine dining. It is not trying to be social-media bait. This is a high-volume Chinese banquet restaurant operating with old-school Cantonese production discipline. Hot food arrives hot. Fried dishes stay crisp. Wok hei survives peak hours. Plating still looks intentional during a packed dinner service. That kind of consistency is harder than people think. And somehow, inside a giant purple dining room filled wall-to-wall with families, they make it work. - Dr. C Purple room approved. Wok heat calibrated. Banquet discipline detected. Consistency at scale = correct.

They have some diverse offerings on the menu and are an asian fusion with Hawaiian, Chinese, and Japanese on the menu. Seems odd but the reason we came here over other places was I saw they had Honey Walnut Shrimp on the menu and its been almost a year since I had it. Interior is on the newer side and the large windows create a lot of nice natural light inside. Golden Eel Rice: A bright yellow egg moat with rice and garnish in the middle. The egg is topped with Unagi. Loved how clean this one tasted but in hindsight I could make something like this at home and should have went for some of the more standard sizzling plates. Beef Rice: Beef surrounding a mound of rice with corn and green onion toppings. It comes with a paper ring around it to remind you it is HOT and you will burn yourself if you touch it. It stays hot for a long time and the kids loved cooking on it. The rice also gets that nice black crunchy char layer on it which my wife loves.

There was only one server inside who was very kind and answered all our questions about the menu. The food itself was so delicious, all the flavors were balanced well and honestly even kind of comforting it was so good. We tried several dishes and honestly it even felt like we had ordered too much because the portion sizes are so big! We tried the Korean fried chicken, the spicy pork belly plate, the bulgogi pancake, the hot stone seafood bibimbaps, and the Soo Ja fries. This place seems perfect for a late night meal and drinks with friends or even larger family get togethers. We can't wait to come back in the future and bring more people to try more of the menu

It was a lot of food even though we were starving at first, we ended up have to eat it 2 times, each time was 3-4 hours apart but still cannot finish everything. My favorite dish was the kimchi fried rice and then the fried chicken, but the rest were also tasty and delicious. My girls love the corn cheese and teokbokki. The soup was much needed after we were drinking for a while and decided to take a quick food break to gain our energy back. Everything was packed nicely, nothing got spilled, but they forgot to give us utensils and napkins. My friend said she ordered 3 orders of half and half fried chicken and ended up receiving 4, lucky us lolol! We will definitely comeback to the restaurant for dine-in next time, I bet the food taste even better when they fresh out of the kitchen but our to-go experience was great and food still tasted amazing.
