Very fun items for party decoration, favors and gifts. Will definitely stop by this place again whenever any kid's birthday is coming up. Picked up some bubble solution, puzzle fidget toys, spray chalk, art supplies, birthday garland, balloon pick etc. Despite having a great selection of party items and little gifts, there weren't many squishmallows to choose from during my visit. They also keep the small ones way behind the counter. I would have wanted to be able to inspect them at a closer, normal distance but from what I could tell they were all the ugly Easter ones. Their big squishmallow shelf near the register was basically empty too. Fun fact: their shopping baskets have wheels, turning them into mini carts because they know you're going to buy a lot! One of the workers, Litsy Cruz, on 11/29/2025 around a 5pm shift, showed unprofessional customer service in this location. When requesting for assistance in the self-checkout aisle, we needed help figuring out how to remove items off the screen. Fast forward to her asking where the item was that needed to be removed, we told her we returned it back in one of the bins. She then proceeded to scan our items very aggressively, grabbed the item that we removed of our checkout screen, and threw it forcefully towards the back basket of her counter. She showed no form of true customer service, and brought disappointment to our shopping experience. read more

Might start going out of the way to come here now. I got a bunch of Harry Potter stuff for $20 and plan to use it for a cute newborn photoshoot. Got the glasses, ties, Harry plushy, and the wand. They had a tiny stool which was perfect for small toddlers, and a cute pink circle rug, some cute Halloween props. It was great. I really enjoyed our visit to Five below. I had never been and actually excited Whittier will get one soon!! It's bright and colorful when you walk in and they have so many cute items... Lots of items I've never seen at $1 stores. The quality a little better too. Fortnite Jojo siwa Lolz Figures, gameboards, shirts, socks. Alot of electronic support.. Light speakers really cool. Had a HORRIBLE experience here last week. I'm a 63 year old retired social worker under going chemotherapy. I was followed out the store by Michelle and she said " where's my shirt!?" Evidently she thought I was stealing. Who steals from 5 below? I wasn't wearing a head covering. If my bald head offended her that's her ignorance. I notified corporate and the American cancer society. We have rights! Train your staff!! read more

This location is amazing! It's big, the staff greeted us when we came in, and my kids were entertained for a long time just looking around. I personally like the ''retro'' magnets they sell of 80's shows and characters. Cheap shirts and little gifts galore! read more

I've been to About six 5below locations, and this one is the best one. All of the staff is so kind, And caring.When you go in the crate you call mom if you look like you have too many things in your hand and need help they will go up to you with the basket. They're so friendly at check out. I really enjoyed this five below location. I prefer to make the extra drive to go to this one. First time here, they have some good items but some are overpriced and you could get them at the 99 or dollar tree . Just ok for me .

This place is okay! They have some great items , but I feel they're still pricey for the items they sell. The candy selection was great especially the chocolates. The decor was funky and modern. It was also colorful and the service was okay. read more

The employees here are RUDE. A young female employee was ringing up my items and she didn't have any manners. None at all. I walked up, and not a word was said. She finished ringing my items, and still not one word. She was making ugly innapropiate face gestures. I don't expect you to bow down when a costumer enters, but a "Hi Hows it going? Or Have a nice Day!" Would be nice. When giving me my change, the cashier also dropped my change when handing it to me and didn't apologize or say anything at all. Also I was looking through the stationery aisle and a female employee with glasses and blonde hair also came out to be rude. She had a box in her hands and I didn't realize she was waiting for me to move out of the way so she can restock. She just stood there. When I realized she was waiting for me to move out of the way, I laughed a little and apologized. She just looked at me and basically slammed her box on the floor. Seriously? These people need more training in costumer service and manners. All bad vibes. I hope management reads my review and takes it into consideration to talk to his/her rude employees. read more

This is the next 99 cent store. They recently started popping out everywhere and it's amazing I love it. Everything is below 5$ for sure. The 99 cents store are now regretting there name because they sell things that are more than 99 cents! It's annoying. But this store has a lot of good stuff. I came today to get the last minute Easter stuff . They have better quality products. The only reason I gave it a 4 star it's because I thought they closed when I went in they had only 1 door open. They had extended hours and maybe the employees didn't want ppl to come in. They look bother to bother to be there. Also some stuff is dirty I think kids are playing with them but you might want to check your items before you buy them. read more

We love coming to this store because the prices are reasonable but when it comes to customer service there at a 2 out of 10. Some of the reps dont know customer service they act like oh whatever. when you ask for a product they dont have on the shelves they should have some in the back you would l think but no its a "we ran out and dont have anymore", but when you ask when the next shipment is they act like your gonna go rob them for there merchandise, like no im not coming here anymore. read more

Do not enter this place with your backpack. My brother entered with his left it in the front of the store and when he returned it was not there store claims they didn't see anything. It's irresponsible that if they ask you to place your belongings in the front that don't at least take care of them! I understand it's an LP issue and that it may be store policy to prevent theft but at least take care of your customers belongings. read more

It's stupid, but I love this place. Turnover in product offered is so consistent I can go once a month and it's like a new store. Deals are as advertised and selection ranges from good enough to fun...I won't complain...it's a nice change of pace store for the Pico Rivera Town Center. read more
