It's nice to see card shops in a local town area like Phoenixville where tcg players can gather and…read morehave a good time. Among the game shops nearby, this seems to be the main one where people can sit down and play a good game of commander. The card shop isn't particularly large, but has a front area with games and figures, a few glass counters with singles in the middle, then about 6 open tables in the back area for group TCG games. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The single cards that were available were most of the popular commander stables people might be looking for, but from my understanding, they also have an online TCG Player inventory that you can browse through. Their commander open-play nights are also convenient - Mondays and Saturdays. This is a great alternative to the other major store about 30 mins away, Alternate Universes, which has their commander open play on Tuesdays and Fridays. Overall, great place to come and chill out for MTG commander games.

They went above and beyond helping us hunt down some Pokémon cards we were looking for. Everyone was genuinely excited to help, which made the experience even better. Whether you're a serious collector or just getting into the hobby, this place is a gem. We always find the cards we're looking for at a great value too! Highly recommend!!

Not my favorite B&N. Vibe can feel pretentious & unwelcoming. Asked if they had a magazine in-stock…read more& was given a mix of insults & excuses. "Are you sure this title is in print?" ME: Yes, for sure. "Because..." ME: Because lots of magazines have gone digital, I'm aware, this is for sure in print. "This could be a magazine that only grocery stores carry." ME: Well I've purchased it here before, not specifically this store, but Wyomissing location. "Oh, well, we clean up our magazines, they don't do their job there." A simple, "Iooks like we don't have it" will suffice. I kinda wanna say (but don't) you have a lot of attitude for a store that has a broke-azz escalator & none of the magazines I want. It's unnecessary to run down another location & the point is wasted, cause if Wyo "not doing their job" means a broader selection of magazines to choose from, guess where I'm heading next time! At the register I'm asked if I want to use my rewards which are greater than the purchase I'm making. I reply sorta rhetorically, sure so long as I won't lose the difference. Said to me sarcastically, "Yeah, we're just gonna throw them all away!" WTF. Glad I was having a chill day & didn't respond w/ equal sarcasm, "right, cause rewards, points, coupons, these things never expire or have rules." No seating. Tight cafe area. Right-Fighter employees. Disappointing magazine selection.

They also have a clearance section which actually has some books and items to choose from. There were many sales associates available to ask questions and help you find what you need.

Since it's a variety/discount store, with come-and-go stock, it's not like you can really plan ahead seeking a specific item. They have a website with many of their products but not all, and again, they come and go like in the store. Anyway, Five Below is the kind of place to stop and browse. You will be rewarded for your time, I know I am. I never leave without buying something. This time? Exercise balls of quality almost as good as the $25 one I already have = Good deal! They have various sizes (55cm, 65cm, 75cm) for $5 each. Also the foot pump (much better than the hand pump that came with my more expensive one) is $4. There were a number of other fitness gadgets and fitness accessories for good deals (decent enough quality). See my photos, I tried to get a good representation of the stock. Sports balls were $5 each, for decent enough quality. Spalding, Franklin and Rawlings brands. Not top-of-the-line, but decent enough. The Spalding basketballs were half the price of Amazon. One novelty glow in the dark football was 1/5th the Amazon price. Rawlings baseballs in 2-pack and single softballs were cheaper than other options when I googled them, and so on. Then of course all the typical seasonal items, like flip flops, beach mats, towels, tees, etc. were chic for this season, with a lot of cute options, but you have to watch quality on the garment and shoe items. Some are worth it, some aren't. They also had local sports team logo items for Phillies and Flyers. Again, not top quality, but some items were cute. The mugs were neat, and the Phillies mini b-ball hoop to hang on a door, was a neat item. Odd that it was Phillies on the basketball hoop, but the diehard Phillies phan would definitely want it. The manager, Deb, was really nice when I asked about inventory on one item, and the young man at the register was very polite and helpful. Always a good experience in this store. As I said, I have to check them out more often!
