They Sold us A lemon been fighting with them for months The couch we bought just back in October 2025. Started frying after a couple weeks of having it . After fighting customer service they sent us covers in the mail to put on ourselves. I complained then they sent someone out to put the covers on and they only sent the three bottom cover cushions. The tech put them on top of the old ones, but the whole couch was still fraying not just the cushions then they said that it was against our warranty. I said we bought an extended pet warranty as well. They will not fix it then it started to rip at the seams and every time someone sat on the couch the rip at the seams opened up more. They will not fix it. They will not replace it. They won't do anything so we're stuck with A busted up couch that we paid $1300 for. I canceled my Boscov's credit card. I will never buy a single thing from them ever again. read more

Laurie was rude and unhelpful over the phone. When asking question about surcharges on the order, she smugly repeated herself, saying "because," rather than have a real conversation as an adult. Charging more money (especially after the fact) for larger orders is completely backwards, and to be met with a smug take-it-or-leave-it attitude coupled with a child's argumentative reasoning is embarrassing. read more

Everytime I see a Boscov's I'm surprised they're still around -- in that they never promote themselves or engage in empty braggadocio like their obnoxious overlords at Macy's, Target or Walmart. The stores are clean, well merchandised and staffed by employees who know their way around their departments and a complete sentence. Franky, I wish there were more but in the present brick and mortar hellscape, I'll take what I can get. Five easy stars. read more

I had the absolute pleasure of being helped by Gloria B. at the Clinique department in the Exton Boscov's while shopping for makeup for my elderly mother. Gloria was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and kind, and she went far above and beyond what I expected. She took extra time to understand my mother's needs and even got down on her hands and knees to search for a discontinued item -- something you just don't see anymore. Her compassion, dedication, and genuine care truly touched me. I am so appreciative and grateful for Gloria's help and feel genuinely blessed that she is part of the Exton store. The front desk Cashier would take a$50.00 Bill for a $23.00 check. And wouldn't even ring it up to see if she had enough change!! She was Very rude. And I'm a regular customer. This is the second time she did it. Nobody else in the store does that to me. read more

Boscovs is always a favorite place to shop. The collection for the entire family is always amazing at Boscovs for any occasion. This location is in Exton Mall closer to lincoln Highway and Pottstown Pike. This location has multiple entrances, and the parking lot is plenty. They have ladies and men's wear at lower level, also has huge collection of hand bags, shoes, sun glasses. The women's section is so vast you could get lost there. The men's collection is good for formals. The upper section has bedding, kid wear, and a nice collection of chocolates. Good place to shop for any occasion. You can find from pj's to casual dress to formal dress for kids both boys and girls. They do have a section for luggage for travel. Then, a seasonal section contains summer, spring items, and then during holidays, it contains Christmas trees. read more

I like Boscov's and appreciate that they're a locally owned department store. But their web order system is in need of some serious upgrades. Slow order fulfillment, cryptic email communications, and incorrect stock availability make for a frustrating experience. read more

This is a nice Boscov's but it is in a mall that is scheduled to close this fall, so I doubt it will be around much longer. Unless it's like the Boscov's near my house, which is still standing while the rest of the mall was knocked down. Anyway, my daughter and I stopped in recently to look for some bedding while we were in the area for an appointment. I like Boscov's in general, and this seemed like a nice store. It will be interesting to see what becomes of it. read more

Boscovs, unlike Macys, has a great selection of plus size women's clothing in the store. Shopping is easy in this department. I have also made purchases from other departments including outdoor furniture and various household goods, and I have been pleased with the price and quality. the only reason I don't give 5 stars is that sometimes the store is understaffed. read more

WOW! Who would have thought to go to Boscov's for FUDGE!? We knew they had sugar free candy and that's why we came but as long we were here and it's on sale we might as well get some fudge. Right? Simply delicious. Just as good but not as sweet as shore fudge. Especially try the orange cream and raspberry chocolate. Yum! read more

Purchased a living room sectional here with a 5 year warranty, but they will not stand behind their product based on the fact that what we are experiencing with our piece (busting at the seams in two places b/c of the cushions being so stuffed/firm), is not accidental, the warranty they sold us is not covering the issue. 1-1/2 years later and the item is discontinued also, so I can't even buy a replacement for the section in question. Not the most expensive piece I have ever purchased ($1100 on sale), but I am SOL. Live and learn. read more

Good selection of decent priced dress wear, however... the worker who was present in the menswear was rather rude; started following around my family members (who were all clearly with me) and telling us every five minutes that they close at 9. I understand not wanting customers in the store after closing, but it was 8:30 and she continuously pestered us in a way that I, a cashier in a retail store, have never done to a customer who is clearly trying to finish their shopping quickly (so as to not inconvenience the workers). We were frantically going back and forth trying to find the correct size for a pair of pants inbetween being hassled by this woman, who seemed to think that reminding us that they were closing soon was more important than helping us find what we needed. In addition to this, she even felt the need to enter the men's fitting room to tell my family member to his face that they were closing (as if she hadn't said it to us just five minutes earlier). If she had taken the time to try to assist any of us instead of being passive agressive, we would have most likely been able to leave much quicker. My issue is not that this woman wanted to leave work on time, believe me, I understand. It is the way that we were treated despite doing our best to finish and find what we needed. read more

I want this place to expand to Massachusetts asap! I absolutely loved this department store. It was huge! I thought it would be pricey before going in because it reminded me of a Lord & Taylor's on the outside, but I was wrong. The prices were unbelievable for the quality! I know things are cheaper in Pennsylvania than in Massachusetts, but this had to be cheap even for the area. I found myself getting stuck in certain sections. Tons of great clothes. Clogs! Beautiful silver jewelry! Quirky pet products! And the plates! I could have spent a fortune in there. Luckily, I was good and just got a cheesy Philly Fanatic shirt to wear to bed. I almost bought oh, about 100 other things though. My only complaint was that not enough of the registers were opened. I stopped at five before someone helped me as they were mostly abandoned. read more

returned two pair of pants for size. Same pants just need to go down one size. I had receipt and employee said I had to pay two dollars more because they were not on sale now. I tried to explain that it was just an item for item (again same item) just the size was being changed. I still had to pay the difference. I've never heard of this before. I checked at customer service and they said for me to back and have them make it right. I did not because I didn't want to wait in line again. Boscovs, you need to train your staff better with the holiday season approaching you may have many angry customers. read more

We love Boscov's, and support them with all purchases we possibly can, as they are a PA-based, family-oriented company, and we don't want them to ever go-the-way of Sears, etc, due to not keeping up with the changing marketplace. I have ALWAYS found the staff extremely helpful - especially Nancy in menswear. They care about their customers, which is sadly missing in today's world. I went to Boscovs around the holidays as we have needed a new mattress for a few years, and I was hesitant to buy one at a mattress store, and we had put it off due to the pandemic. The salesperson was very knowledgeable and not pushy at all. She was patient and showed us multiple mattresses in a wide variety of prices and styles. My daughter was with me to help me make a choice. Even though I was initially not sure I would be buying a new mattress that day, I found just what I wanted, and the mattress could be no interest for 12 months if I used my Boscovs credit card. It was no trouble to set up delivery (the following week) and free removal of our old mattress. The delivery was on time, and we were advised the night before of the time. VERY professional delivery persons. Everything about this transaction went perfectly which is not always the case nowadays. Very happy and highly recommend, for a personal touch and efficient service and care. read more

Stopped in, Sunday, 1-20 - 19, 5 pm. Needed dress jacket and pants, and we were clueless. Chuck came over to see if he could help us. Wow, what a great guy. Friendly, knowledgeable, and very patient. He explained the cut of the suit jacket, and then he wanted to make sure the pants were a good fit. We never expected such personal attention, but we were grateful. This is why the brick and mortar stores will / should be able to survive,as long as they are staffed by caring, knowledgeable, "people" people! read more

Boscovs is definitely my favorite department store. They always have the best prices and crazy good sales. Also, the people who work here are the kindest, most friendly people you'll find working anywhere. It's not high-end like Macy's, so don't expect everything to be top of the line, but if you do your research and look for sales, you won't be disappointed. read more

Their return policy is HORRIBLE! I wanted to exchange an $8 pillow but needed my license which I didn't have on me. NEVER AGAIN BOSCOVS!!
