Visited the store today and everyone working was super nice! The selection was great and they had a…read moremassive last chance section with awesome prices. I was greeted and while I can't say if they greeted every person specifically, the workers were all easy to find, available, and happy to help answer questions. As someone who prefers to shop alone and in peace, I appreciated that I had the time and comfort to do so, while still having workers available for questions. If you ask for help they are happy to assist. I even saw one worker who was walking around with a customer helping them.

In over a year Land's End did not correct the problem so that poor reviews about the same complaint continue and have not been resolved? Your replies have only paid lip service with nice words. Why should I waste my gas? It's not the same company I had come to love! When I had a mastectomy 33 years ago and wanted a swim suit for post surgery therapy, Land's End promised a fit for every body type. There were NO mastectomy suits for that body type in the catalog. I called Land's End on it and by the next summer there was an entire mastectomy product line. That's responsive!!!

The owner wasn't there, the person who was behind the desk was nice enough but clearly did not know too much about antiques or anything like that. I found some items I liked and intended to pay for them, they didn't have prices listed so I took them up to the employee. They spent like ten minutes just holding the first one and looking something up on their phone, presumably the Google average price for an item of that kind, which is of course a completely unreliable way to price an unidentifiable antique. The prices they told me they estimated for the items were a bit over-the-top but not necessarily unreasonable if they were actually of any confirmed value. But there was no evidence of date or proof of origin, so for all I know the thing I wanted could have been a papier-mâché craft made in someone's basement two weeks ago. Just not worth the risk in my opinion. So yeah, I left without buying anything. The selections seemed cool and I appreciate the employee trying to help to the best of their ability, but I don't like gambling when it comes to things like antiques.
