While searching the racks, my Grandmom asked to use the bathroom where she received a whole lot of attitude. I felt that our presence was a bother. The clothing selection on the sale rack (the only dress section not wrapped in plastic) where the prices were ALMOST reasonable due to the summer sale. Their reduced rack (50%) seemed more on the line of where their regular prices should be. The rest of the store is wrapped in plastic which makes dress shopping difficult. The have great dresses although extremely overpriced. On the staff attitude alone, I would not give them any business, even if I fell in love with a dress. Went to another boutique a few stores down, the staff was wonderful. My Mom tried on 12 or more dresses where Trish was patient and so helpful. They were welcoming, friendly and had a much better selection.

They have shoes, bags, accessories, anything a gal needs in a wide range of sizes. In other words, it's not 10 year old Missoni in size 4 masquerading as a consignment shop (and I WORSHIP Missoni). If you are larger than a 10, you will find plenty of options here. There is also a small selection of men's clothing. Juniors or women who like to think they are juniors, this store is not for you. This is a shop for women who don't mind admitting they are over the age of majority. Clothes are arranged by type and by size, so if you're looking for a jacket, there is a section for jackets, skirts, etc. I was tempted by the most buttery soft ultra suede skirt in a light purple. But then I remembered, I'm only buying black and white anymore. I didn't rate this store higher because the sales clerk (who I know is not the owner) did not greet me or make any effort to engage me when I came into the store. In fact, it felt like she was avoiding me. When customers walk into a store, it's customary to say "hello, are you looking for something special"? Don't walk behind the counter as though I'm not there. I wasn't even rockin' the nose ring; but I'm not inclined to return when there are so many other options. I just happened to see the big consignment sign near the street on Lancaster Ave as I was driving by and I made a "U" turn. I didn't know it was Charmingly Linda's, but I'm glad I found it again. This is a nice store. It is not glamorous (though I think they are trying). The clothes are down to earth clothing, not much stuff for the younger crowd. Mostly they stock women's clothing, shoes, bags, accessories. They have a very small men's department. When I was there they had a huge selection of Vera Bradley bags. It is hit or miss. One thing many may not know is that Linda's husband sells things on E-bay. With the population aging, there are more and more people who need this service.
