Used to be a great store. They seem to be stocking less useful merchandise. It's now a hit or miss when I shop there.

It was a Saturday so the CVS pharmacist said he'd contact the original pharmacy the following Monday to have it transferred. 5 days later I got a message from the CVS pharmacist saying he transferred the RX. Two days later I went to get it...CVS had no record of it. The pharmacist who 'handled' it wasn't in so an employee took my name and info and said the pharmacist would call me the following Monday when he returned to work. No call ever came. Went back to the pharmacy to see if it had been filled. Nope. No record of it. This time, the pharmacist who was 'handling' it was there. And he completely changed his story and claimed the original pharmacy never transferred it despite the VM I have from him saying they had. He then said I needed a whole new prescription and sent a message to my family MD. I informed him my family MD wasn't the prescribing MD which he ignored. Didn't matter anyway...it turns out, he lied about contacting my family MD for a new prescription. I've now gone 3+ WEEKS without medication. (Have to use CVS per health insurance) The RX is only for a prescription vitamin with iron but it was prescribed due to a severe C Diff infection I had (and was hospitalized for for nearly 4 weeks) which can be fatal, especially to colon cancer patients like me. This pharmacist is a liar, doesn't do his job and literally plays with people's lives. Don't go here, its not worth your health and safety! BTW...the store is filthy as well.

They also donate 4 wreaths for distribution to grave sites, doves to be released during the service, were the first to provide a float honoring veterans, the military and those who have died in the service of their country and many things I only find out about during each new year. Since they provide the same things year after year, I only contact Carol 2 months in advance. When our daughter got married she called Carol 6 months in advance. For a larger wedding we war part of, we called Carol 8 months in advance. I mention this because the reviewer Christine complained that she contacted Carol Shoppes 6 *weeks* before her wedding, from 90 miles away and was disappointed when Carol told her that she could not do the wedding. Though the order was small, Carol spends an inordinate amount of time (in my opinion) at the weddings that she does, regardless of size. The other reviewer, Christine, also complained that another (far larger) florist was cheaper, but if no final price was given I cannot see how she knew that. I'm glad Christine's wedding flowers were done to her satisfaction, but Carol Shoppes is a terrific small florist and I hate to see her maligned for something that was beyond her control. I've ordered huge centerpieces, birthday flowers, anniversary flowers, probably 100 items over the years and have always been delighted with how long the flowers last and how inexpensive the pieces were.

Told her exactly what I wanted - a small order - 2 bouquets, 3 boutonnières, 2 corsages. We had been exchanging emails; I explained I lived out of town (90 miles away) and couldn't come in person. She gave me an estimate based on what flowers I wanted but said she would give me an idea of what the bouquets would look like based on my choices regarding the little details (leaves, basically). So, no final price was given. I was waiting on a final based on what she could get and she gave me a date to finalize things. And a date 2 days later upon which payment would be due. So, I call first thing in the morning on the finalization date and she tells me that she can not do my wedding. And that she "contacted" me regarding this earlier. Yes, an email addressed to the WRONG person that was sent the night before the finalization date and a mere 10 days before my wedding! Thankfully, I contacted Royers and they were able to help me on short notice. They were cheaper as well, and my flowers were beautiful.

With my first move in 2020, there was a bit of a scheduling issue, causing the movers to arrive later than originally scheduled and with a van rather than a truck (I had been told that it would be a truck in order to fit all of my belongings into one trip). Therefore, it ended up taking two trips. However, the owner made things right by only charging me the original rate for one trip. Mistakes happen and I'm fine with it, as long as the company owns up to it and makes it right. And there were no similar issues with my second move in 2026. The guys had furniture wrap and blankets to protect my belongings. During both moves, I did not find anything that was damaged at all. What more can you ask for!? I highly recommend Man With a Van! In fact, I'm likely going to use them again soon to help with some items that I will need to move into storage.

The dispatcher Paul needs anger management lessons…read more My friend recently moved across town and ordered Man With A Van movers as they had good experiences with the company in the past. Man With A Van gave my friend two quotes: a cheaper quote for Two Guys with a Van and a more expensive quote for Three Guys with a Truck. My friend sent the more expensive rate for Three Guys with a Truck. But then this dispatcher tried the blame game of "You didn't specify Truck" when to our surprise only Two Guys and a Van showed up. Lemme ask you a question. If I offer you a hotdog for $3 and a burger for $4, and you hand me 4 dollars, wouldn't anyone with a working brainstem assume that meant YOU WANTED THE BURGER? But my friend was sweet and offered: "Maybe y'all can come back tomorrow with three guys and a truck, because it's really a three person job", to which the movers declined. After a quick call, the dispatcher said there'd be no additional charge for extra trips due to the smaller vehicle. What's more is that one of the two Movers had a bad back and couldn't take the stairs like the other dude. So at some points the job is only getting done by one dude (you could argue one-and-a-half dudes). If THREE guys should be able to make the move of loading and unloading in TWO hours, then HALF that much manpower means... you guessed it: it's gonna take at least twice as long! Not to mention they spent extra time stacking things like Jenga inside the van to make it all fit in one trip. Because the job (that my friend agreed to pay $500 for three guys and a truck) took so much longer with one and a half guys and a van, Paul upcharges an extra $300!! Again, my friend is nice, and they're trying to hash this out cause they didn't get what they paid for, regardless of it it took more time. (And again, of course less manpower means more time). But instead of having a conversation with my friend, Paul starts SCREAMING at them, cursing at them, saying "You're Full Of Sh*t!" and threatening legal action immediately! My friend is begging through tears that they want to make this right; begging him to STOP yelling and panicking them. The mover's felt so bad and embarrassed overhearing Paul act like a jack*ss on the phone that one even offered to pay the remainder, but my friend, still shook up and in tears, said that they wanted to make this right and moved what little money they have around to pay as much as they could. We're ALL struggling out here, and the movers def deserve to get paid. I'm sure the dude with the hurt back needs more money and easier hours, but the company is working him to the bone. But to have this dude Paul berate and coerce my friend, spitting venom over the phone? Shouting until my friend is begging in tears for him to stop? I'm never gonna forget that. And this company needs to make things right. The job took long because of Dispatch's mistakes. They sent 1.5 guys to do a 3 man job, without the agreed upon equipment no less. If you want a stress-free experience: steer clear. If you want some jerk from New York taking out his daddy issues on you: you've come to the right place.
