Used to be a great store. They seem to be stocking less useful merchandise. It's now a hit or miss when I shop there.

It was a Saturday so the CVS pharmacist said he'd contact the original pharmacy the following Monday to have it transferred. 5 days later I got a message from the CVS pharmacist saying he transferred the RX. Two days later I went to get it...CVS had no record of it. The pharmacist who 'handled' it wasn't in so an employee took my name and info and said the pharmacist would call me the following Monday when he returned to work. No call ever came. Went back to the pharmacy to see if it had been filled. Nope. No record of it. This time, the pharmacist who was 'handling' it was there. And he completely changed his story and claimed the original pharmacy never transferred it despite the VM I have from him saying they had. He then said I needed a whole new prescription and sent a message to my family MD. I informed him my family MD wasn't the prescribing MD which he ignored. Didn't matter anyway...it turns out, he lied about contacting my family MD for a new prescription. I've now gone 3+ WEEKS without medication. (Have to use CVS per health insurance) The RX is only for a prescription vitamin with iron but it was prescribed due to a severe C Diff infection I had (and was hospitalized for for nearly 4 weeks) which can be fatal, especially to colon cancer patients like me. This pharmacist is a liar, doesn't do his job and literally plays with people's lives. Don't go here, its not worth your health and safety! BTW...the store is filthy as well.

Carol Shoppes donates 2 large rolls of ribbon every year for our township Memorial Day Parade and…read moreService; they are made into 150 participation award banners. They also donate 4 wreaths for distribution to grave sites, doves to be released during the service, were the first to provide a float honoring veterans, the military and those who have died in the service of their country and many things I only find out about during each new year. Since they provide the same things year after year, I only contact Carol 2 months in advance. When our daughter got married she called Carol 6 months in advance. For a larger wedding we war part of, we called Carol 8 months in advance. I mention this because the reviewer Christine complained that she contacted Carol Shoppes 6 *weeks* before her wedding, from 90 miles away and was disappointed when Carol told her that she could not do the wedding. Though the order was small, Carol spends an inordinate amount of time (in my opinion) at the weddings that she does, regardless of size. The other reviewer, Christine, also complained that another (far larger) florist was cheaper, but if no final price was given I cannot see how she knew that. I'm glad Christine's wedding flowers were done to her satisfaction, but Carol Shoppes is a terrific small florist and I hate to see her maligned for something that was beyond her control. I've ordered huge centerpieces, birthday flowers, anniversary flowers, probably 100 items over the years and have always been delighted with how long the flowers last and how inexpensive the pieces were.

If I could leave no star, I would. I contacted this florist over a month ago for my wedding;…read morespecifically stated which flowers I liked (and which I didn't ). Told her exactly what I wanted - a small order - 2 bouquets, 3 boutonnières, 2 corsages. We had been exchanging emails; I explained I lived out of town (90 miles away) and couldn't come in person. She gave me an estimate based on what flowers I wanted but said she would give me an idea of what the bouquets would look like based on my choices regarding the little details (leaves, basically). So, no final price was given. I was waiting on a final based on what she could get and she gave me a date to finalize things. And a date 2 days later upon which payment would be due. So, I call first thing in the morning on the finalization date and she tells me that she can not do my wedding. And that she "contacted" me regarding this earlier. Yes, an email addressed to the WRONG person that was sent the night before the finalization date and a mere 10 days before my wedding! Thankfully, I contacted Royers and they were able to help me on short notice. They were cheaper as well, and my flowers were beautiful.
