This was after them originally telling me in the store that Possibly had a post loose and it would be about $47 then shipping it off and keeping it over 2 weeks. We were very skeptical so went to Leitzel's which is a local establishment with experts on premises. They examined and cleaned the ring there at no charge and told me there were no issues with my diamonds or setting. Thank you all so much!

Today I took my watch to Brent Miller in Lancaster they have a sterling reputation. Their watchmaker opened up my watch they said it looks like it never been serviced the inside was dirty and is both gaining and losing time and the gasket which is supposed to be replaced so it remains waterproof was the original gasket that was in the watch and never been replaced. I cannot say enough negative things about Leitzel's Jewelry, they completely screwed me and had me pay a couple of hundred bucks for either shoddy work and lied and didn't do the work. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy!

I then used LW&J to clean and service a rare and vintage Seiko watch. They did a great job. After this I designed a custom pocket watch to wristwatch conversion. I purchased all the parts myself, but there was some tedious custom work that needed to be done, as well as regular service. The price was fair, and the work was done well. I intend to have them create another custom watch for me in the near future. The staff has always been friendly and attentive. I will continue to use them to service my watch collection. They also have a great selection of watches from several manufacturers. I always find at least three of four other items I'd love to buy.

He does not rebuild movements, which is certainly his choice. No biggie. The other 3 required batteries/capacitor and were repaired. One of the watches is 28 years old and has needed a battery for years but I neglected it. He got it working with some extra work for the simple cost of a new battery. The solar watch needed a battery and then needed the contacts cleaned. He kept it running to monitor its accuracy and called me when he was satisfied it worked correctly. Certainly, I was bummed to find out 2 watches couldn't be repaired here, but I'm the one who didn't maintain them properly. And I am thankful he got the other 3 watches working. Customer service I have to say was always prompt and courteous.
