In general, she says she always finds something that's good quality and a good value, and customer service is good. She described Nordstrom Rack as, "like a higher-end T.J. Maxx." Some examples of items she's purchased here include Stuart Weitzman shoes (her wedding shoes; they're beautiful), Madewell sweaters and T-shirts (lots of T-shirts), a French Connection sweater, a Theory dress (one of my favorites; she's worn it to my company's holiday party and to one of her company's events), and NEST New York scented candles (they smell good). Another reason she likes Nordstrom Rack is because she can return both Nordstrom Rack and regular Nordstrom items. Convenient. During our last visit, employee Marquis was fantastic. At checkout, my wife didn't know her Nordstrom credit card expired. Marquis got her on the phone with someone who helped her take care of everything. She was still able to get her Nordy Club points and Notes (loyalty rewards). This Nordstrom Rack is located in Buckhead, just off Georgia 400 Exit 2, near Lenox Square and Phipps Plaza. It's in Buckhead Station, a two-story shopping center. On the weekends, Buckhead Station gets crowded and there are longer lines at Nordstrom Rack. During peak times, I suggest parking on the lower level where there is plenty of parking and no congestion. This Nordstrom Rack opened in 2010. It's the only Nordstrom Rack inside the perimeter.

The store hasn't seen an updated in a hot minute, but it goes with the known aesthetic that Ross's are known for. Another thing that did not escape this location is the ratio of women's to men's clothing. If you are a lady, you are SET! Fellas, be prepared for disappointment for the most part. They do have a decent offering of home goods, which is one reason I pop into Ross. This time was to look for a nice button-up shirt. I ended up buying a dog bowl instead of shirt, if that tells you anything about selection. Service is hit and miss. The cashiers are always pleasant and efficient, but the folks on the floor are less than enthused to be asked for help. Overall, I know what to expect at Ross and I am solid with what they have to offer, so I will certainly be back to this spot and other Ross locations when the need arises.

The woman working the Amazon returns was very pleasant and complementary, and she greeted us as we walked in and invited us to come on over since the Amazon counter is now in the front. Three other employees greeted us as we walked through the store and asked if we needed anything. Then the woman at checkout was very polite and helped me with a coupon. Honestly, we're so used to employees in other stores who seem exhausted and don't want to be there that this was a shock in a very positive way. I've worked in customer service for many years and I just really appreciate how pleasant and kind everyone was during our visit. Thank you!

The cashier, Pina, offered no greeting and only spoke to push a credit card application. There was no thank-you, and I actually had to help sort my items because bath products and clothing were getting mixed together during bagging. I did try to call ahead and speak with Store Manager Stan before posting this, but the person who answered was reluctant to even share his name--which made it feel like feedback isn't welcomed. I'm still deciding whether to keep my purchases, because the experience really took the joy out of what should have been a fun shopping trip. But more than that, I want to see this store live up to its potential. Customer service matters, and I believe it can improve with attention and care. I'm sharing this not to criticize harshly, but in hopes that someone will listen and act.

This Five Below is located in a large plaza with plenty of parking. It was an extremely tidy and quiet area, even on a Saturday afternoon. When I walked up to the door, I was surprised to see that they were actually noted as the 1,500th store and only recently opened - how cool! All Five Below locations have the same flow and I'm not mad at it. This one was stocked quite well, especially for the holiday season. As well as being quite tidy. They had a great selection of seasonal decor, candies, stocking stuffers and anything else I feel like one could ask for. Beyond their holiday options, the other departments were also stocked to the brim. I love how Five Below has upgraded some of their departments like their home decor, although I don't love that they aren't well, $5 or below, lol. Since I didn't really go into the store with a list or plan in mind, I didn't go crazy but walked out with a shiny gold plastic tree that goes along with my Christmas decor and a few of their cute screen printed tees that are always my favorites. There weren't many sales associates on the floor but I don't think they need them as the store kinda speaks for itself, smart way to save on costs.
