Like The Abbey and The Tabernacle, Bagwell Furniture is located in an old church. They sell tons of quality name brand pieces at discounted wholesale prices. I saw a really nice silver couch and black wood bedroom set that would be perfect for my house if I didn't already have furniture. In existence since 1949, Bagwell has very nice bedroom, living room and dining room sets for all budgets. Prices vary from the hundreds to the thousands and there are some very interesting finds. Situated on two levels each room has a theme. Most of the dining room furniture is on the lower level and it is very quiet down there. While the basement was finished and had an array of bar stools, tables, chairs and clearance, it was a little creepy and I'm glad I had my boyfriend with me. Lighting, artwork and other accessories are also available at Bagwell Furniture. Thanks to Ryan Cameron from V-103, I've been exposed to yet another awesome furniture store in Atlanta. I am a fan of Ballard the store but this location has its issues. I do love that we have such a huge location in Atlanta, that is a positive - due to HQ also being located here i imagine. But I don't understand why it does not function as a showroom or flagship for that reason. Also this store does seem to be rearranging constantly. I cannot remember a time when I have visited and it was not moving something around. As such, staff does also always seem preoccupied by this and less inclined to help. When I can get staff to help it is usualyl because i have a specific question and they usually do not have the info on hand or may not know where I can see a specific iten on store (probably because it all moves around so often) which can be frustrating.
