I was so looking forward to this healthy meal and like I read before they weren't equipped to give the extra portion so I didn't get it and I was no refund of course and it had been frozen obviously and it was still in need of heating and very watery with no taste major major disappointment. And the peanut butter brownie i took one bite and it was stale. So much fir quality control. I'm guessing there's other healthy prepared meals out there that not only taste better in probably about 1/3 of the price. No second chance here!, read more

I usually prepare my own food prep but since Groupon was offering a deal I figured I'd try it out. I found the store to be very neat and well organized. The young gentlemen working there was helpful with giving me recommendations between my choices. So far I have only tried the turkey meatloaf which I found quit yummy! It came with fresh green beans and a mix of cauliflower/red potato mash. The only thing I didn't like was the mash, it was a bit sour in taste. So far, so good. Now hopefully I like my other selected meals and I may just be an on going customer. read more

Ordered via door dash! The food comes frozen but only takes a few minutes to heat up! Food is so good I loved it will order here again in the future. My husband and I wanted an easy meal we could still feel good about and feel full and we for sure loved it. read more

We were super stoked to find this place- being on keto recently has forced us into a fair amount of meal planning but who has time for that? This place has a great selection of keto meals so we thought we'd give it a shot. I was really excited about the Korean tri-tip. Snap peas, yum! Tri-tip, yum. Riced cauliflower, yum. I took the package out of my fridge at work and peeled back the corner before giving it a gentle zap- smelled awesome. I took it out and peeled the plastic all the way back and... hm. Interesting... now I am a recovering carb-aholic and I can smell carbs from a mile away. Was it the cupcakes from a co-workers birthday? No- no it was the riced RICE that was in my dish when the package expressly said riced CAULIFLOWER. I took a bitty bite just to make sure and YUP THAT'S A GRAIN. Why would I pay you for something I can't eat? I was bummed. I carefully picked out the snap peas and the beef and had to toss the rest away. I can't believe that their chef doesn't know the difference between a grain and a vegetable. But worse- if I had ordered this because I couldn't have rice or was allergic or something there would be a huge problem. Pro-tip: advertise what you carry and sell what you advertise. The box said riced cauliflower. That's not what I got. read more

Today I forgot my lunch and since I had been tracking macros I was worried I'd have to sacrifice progress picking up takeout, but I came across Fit Eats on DoorDash! The food arrived in less than 15 minutes and was super easy to heat up and fit into my macros. I'm also a vegetarian and they had sooo many options which I really appreciate! I got the vegetable asada and a peanut butter cup, which was heaven! Will definitely be ordering from here again and telling my friends read more

Just a PSA: I ordered FitEats after a coworker brought hers to work and let me try it out. The food was great, unfortunately, customer service isn't so great. I placed my first order to be delivered on a monday. Showed up on monday, food wasn't there. I emailed customer service and was told, "We don't deliver to your address"(but they took my money without calling and telling me otherwise?). So I emailed them back and asked them to cancel my order because I can't get to the Kiefer Blvd. location before 3pm(I work til 5 every day). I was told that despite them accepting my money and not communicating that my order couldn't be delivered to the area code provided to them, that they were going to charge me a 25% restock fee for order cancellation. They offered me a second option: To pick up my food at the Roseville Location or the Downtown location, or have the 25% cancellation fee applied. So I chose the cancellation fee as both of those locations are 15+ miles out of my way. Moral of the story: call ahead if you're more than 15 minutes from any location and make sure they deliver to you so you don't get screwed. Huge bummer because I wanted to make this a regular part of my weekly meal planning. This is a family owned business that is still working out some kinks and I hope they figure it out because the idea they have is convenient and people love what they do. read more

Great food but it absolutely WREAKS of weed in the store. Waiting in line was almost unbearable!

Of all the home delivery apps , this is by far the worst! I use Home Chef, Blue Apron, Hello Apron and Gobble 2 out of 3orders we're wrong. The window for delivery is from 11:00pm to 6:00am. My husband leaves for work at 6:00. He waited til 6:15. Late for work. It came at 6:30. No apologies. It's way over priced, but I chalked it up to convienceI predict it will be closed in another month Worst customers service read more

Always check your food if you order Fit Eats weekly deliveries. I received this on July 20th, after ordering meals for the entire week. I thought at the very least the food would be good for the entire week on account of, they let you order a weeks worth of meals. However, I found this piece of tofu on July 21st, only one day after receiving my weekly meals, and it had a best by date of only 4 days into the week. Please check your food from this company, I caught this as I was getting ready to feed it to my CHILD. I've eaten tofu my entire adult life so I'm very familiar with bad tofu, with people who can't cook tofu, or properly store tofu, and I've never seen it this bad before. It was disgusting. I have a ring doorbell, I retrieved my meals as soon as they got to my front door and they weren't even cold. There was no chill whatsoever to any of my meals. I refrigerated a weeks worth of room temperature meals the morning of July 20th. read more

Fit Eats - a meal in a plastic container - Health Markets Near Me - Roseville, California

Went here last week for the first time because my girlfriend had a 50 dollar gift card so we picked up like 5 prepackaged dinners and paid the remaining amount. The food is nasty, no flavor, costs way too much. I recommend to buy your own healthy food and portion it and prepackage it your self if you want to be on a diet. read more

The meals are literally preps stacked in the fridges. They have meals in two sizes - regular and large. They're pretty pricey. The larges range from about $10-$12. I have not tried them, but the concept is cool. The meals are prepped with the idea of a balanced healthy diet. Each meal has a healthy amount of protein, vegetables and if applicable, some other stuff such as beans or dairy. They have some meals marked 30% off. These meals have been 1-2 days after the best to eat by date. read more

Unfortunately, food went from really good to really bad. I think people need to be aware of the inconsistencies, esp when you have reviews all over the place. We have been eating these products for last couple years, but last 8-9 months their food has become tasteless and inedible. Something has definitely changed in their cooking methods. We were regular, weekly customers but whatever you have done to your kitchen (cooking process) was the wrong move! read more

Fit Eats is literally amazing. We get a few meals delivered each week. We've been either going in to the retail store or having meals delivered for years. It is the best. By Friday, I'm spent, so having healthy meals in the frig is literally the best. I eat foods by the point system, so having the points on the packing is ahmazing. I also love they deliver at night so I dont have to be home to get the delivery. I just wake up and bring the food in...no effort. By far the best part of it for me, is the price point. I believe for what they are selling/delivering to the customer, the price makes it affordable. Their delivery cost is nominal and the meals aren't any more than ordering a meal out (most likely less). Additionally, you don't have to prepare the meals. They are already cooked; you just stick them in the microwave. I would recommend Fit Eats to anyone looking to be healthier and having the convenience of easy to obtain meals. read more

Love love love fit eats. I understand why they opened this location it's perfect ! Close to every other food choice , except this is the only one healthy, Togo, and always a good choice when you're hungry and want REAL QUALITY INGREDIENTS that won't add extra inches on the waist line. Plus the people here are helpful, friendly, and all know the food choices so if you're looking for a certain thing like Gluten free protein banana bread with a side of eggs, or diced yams for a bike ride later in the day. Or maybe just some easy meals already made like a breakfast burrito, or an easy pancake (gluten free) breakfast. Don't look any further in this area ! read more

Everyone who has wrote a bad review has unrealistic expectations or has never eaten in a healthy or low calorie way before. Probably the main reason they are upset is because they are grossly unhappy with themselves to begin with. With that being said I'm not sure what people are expecting from a 300 to 600 calorie meal? Your not going to be stuffed to the max with flavor explosions and 4 diamond portions. It is sad that people feel the need to bash businesses like this that are actually trying to help people. The food here is awesome, the size is good, and the labels are fairly accurate. You can easily have three well balanced meals from here for around 1800 calories or 5 meals for around 2500 calories. Delivery is good as well as I have never had an issue when ordering directly from their website. I heat 90% of these meals on the stove as I do not own a microwave and never had any of the heating issues others complain about. Their peanut butter cups are AMAZING and around 80 cals are a nice treat on days that allow a sweet treat! If you are busy on the go, or just want to eat better but don't have a clue what you are doing, spend your money here and its really hard to fail. Remember why you are trying to eat healthy, this food is at least 80 percent as good as food with 10X's the calories and that's something I cant say for any other meal prep service out there. Add in a zero calorie zero sugar drink like a Zevia here and there and you will be on track. All in all this is a really great service with good food and decent prices. Everyone bashing this place will probably remain unfit, unhealthy, and unhappy with life. read more

Meh. I was gifted a Groupon for $30 worth of product, I got 5 "meals" and paid an extra $20 over the $30, a little pricey to me since 2 of those dishes were also 30% off, but I wanted to give it a shot. The girl working when I went in on a Friday night was nice, felt a little rushed even though I still had over an hour before closing, but she was friendly enough! Food was just ok, everything I picked could have used some extra salt/flavor, and 4 of the 5 dishes really needed some sort of sauce/moisture to pull it together. The chicken ziti I got was a little sad portion wise, but everything else was decently sized. I did like that they had size options, so you can bump most things up to a large for a couple extra bucks if you're trying to feed more people. Also a fan of the delivery option so if you're too busy (or just lazy), you can have them bring it to you (free delivery over $25)! Overall, I get the convenience aspect, and if I were someone who did the full time meal prep/training kinda thing this probably would've worked better for me (from reading other reviews it seems to be popular for that exact thing). So if you are looking for a convenient and healthier option and are willing to spend a little extra, I recommend this place (the carne asada bowl was probably my favorite thing, so that especially!). But if flavor and price are your top concerns, just go to the grocery store and do it yourself. read more

Bummed to not love this place. First of all, the delivery times are nuts. Between midnight and 6 am... so if I bring my food in at 7 when I'm up it might have been out there for an hour or it might have been out there for 7 hours. They put it in an insulated bag but with just one skimpy ice pack on top, the meals on the bottom have been warm every time. I'm 99% sure I got sick from it yesterday. Ate the Turkey meatloaf with cheddar mashed potatoes and was spewing from both ends a few hours later. Now I have 3 meals left that I'm gonna toss. The carne asada bowl I had last week was disgusting and flavorless, the Turkey Mac n cheese casserole thing is awful too. The pad Thai shrimp last week was good but that's it. Also the employees don't care at all. I called last week to try to figure out what time my food had been delivered (I'm pregnant and nervous of food poisoning) and they were very lazy and careless and didn't care at all. They said they'll "try" to contact the delivery driver and they'd call me back. No one called me back. The meals are too expensive for small portions too. On to the next meal prep company, this place is not worth your money read more

Came in this morning to try It out for the first time. I walked in and I noticed I was the only customer I thought It would be a great way to get some more information on this place and the food aka the main product sold at "FIT EATS" well every question I asked the woman that was working up front was answered with " I don't know". I pretty much helped myself while she texted and answered a phone call. I loved the food but am really disappointed that there isn't someone working who knows what they are doing. Definitely will visit a different location next time. read more

I like the idea as I am never able to meal prep on my own but I found the taste pretty bland I feel like putting spices on (if I knew which would actually work). I would be very careful about the shiitake mushroom dishes I was excited to try this place out. I ate the teriyaki chicken, followed microwave instructions as told. Next morning developed a super itchy whiplash rash like I had been beaten by someone . It turns out this is some kind of toxic dermatitis called shiitake dermatitis that you can get from improperly cooked shiitake mushrooms. It is going on 2 weeks and the rash is slowly fading but still super itchy. I contacted them and the manager literally blew me off. Before you eat any of the shiitake dishes, make sure that you cook the mushrooms properly. The last few days have been hell for me. Needless to say, I am never going back. UPDATE in response to the owner The claim of addressing my issue over accusatory emails pointing fingers at the customer and denying my claim that I suffered is very bogus. If that is what your management calls addressing my issues that is unacceptable and irresponsible And to get the facts straight, toxic dermatitis from shiitake mushrooms is NOT related to bacteria. It is again from IMPROPER cooking via toxins . Not all toxins are bacteria !!!!!! Before you counter my claim please do your research on the condition Like I said I would never ever patronize and will never recommend this to anyone Be warned folks about the shiitake mushroom dishes. read more
