Loved the food! Stayed cool upon delivery and was a no-brainer purchase. I do recommend trying them out.

I had a very disappointing experience with and would strongly recommend that anyone considering ordering understand what happened to me. I ordered 21 meals and, on September 1, contacted MealPro because I had not received any information about when my order was being shipped or how the delivery process worked. I was told that I would receive an email once the order was shipped so I could monitor the delivery. That email never came. There was no shipping notification, no tracking information, and no delivery notification. The order was delivered to my building's mailroom on September 3 without any notice. I didn't discover the box until September 6 since my building mail room always has lots of boxes. By then, all 21 meals had to be discarded. What was especially concerning was that the shipment arrived without ice packs or adequate refrigeration/insulation to keep the meals safely chilled during transportation from California to Chicago. This food delivery business does not seem to know that meats and among other food items should not be at room temperature for the hours it takes to mail from far away states. I contacted MealPro immediately and requested a full refund. After multiple emails and approximately 11 days of trying to get a resolution, MealPro ultimately told me that because the carrier's records showed the package as delivered, they would not provide a refund. Instead, they offered me a discounted replacement order. That response completely missed the issue. My complaint was not simply that the carrier marked the package delivered. The problem was MealPro's failure to properly communicate the shipment and delivery, combined with the lack of appropriate temperature protection. Those failures resulted in an entire order of 21 meals becoming unusable. I expected MealPro to take responsibility for the customer-service and shipping issues rather than simply point to the carrier's delivery record. I am sharing this experience because I would want to know about problems like this before spending my money with a meal-delivery company. Based on my experience, I would be very cautious about ordering from MealPro. read more

Great tasting food - the business end was a pretty poor experience. I spent roughly $5k over a 2 year period. The food quality/taste was excellent. The reason I left was the fulfillment / business side. It seems 3 day weekends causes a disruption in their shipping so on several occasions I had to call/email to get my shipment released. Out of frustration I called the main office and was promised some free meals as an accommodation. That never happened. My final straw with them was the "reward points". I never saw them accrue on my account. Well over $300 worth. When I cancelled they all showed up in my point history as cancelled. I essentially lost a free order of food on the deal - they lost a customer. The people I train with suggested MegaFit meals and we have moved our subscriptions over for a trial run. read more

This company lies about their macros and other ingredients. I placed one order here and won't again. The first red flag was they don't take American Express. Companies that don't accept Amex are trying to save an extra ~0.5% in processing fees by blocking out Amex cards. If a company is willing to do this, what else are they willing to do to get an extra 0.5% profit margin? Or an extra 10%? 20%? Make up macros and make you sign an agreement saying there's no guarantees is the answer. Maybe it doesn't stop there. They advertise 70, 80, even 90 grams of protein in meals that show up and are probably more like 40-50. But you sign an agreement allowing them to make up their macro claims. If you're trying to track macros, go somewhere else. Don't trust this company. The giveaway was no Amex then when the meals arrived it just verified further that they are not honest. EDIT: I posted this review on their website's "review" page twice and they deleted it both times. Do not trust all their fake reviews and paid "news articles". God knows what kind of macros people are actually eating or what other crap are in these meals. read more

farro salad is my go to. Vegan meals are especially good. I like the vegetable variety.

That whole chicken is my favorite! Proteins are top notch. Meat is tender as it should and no filler ingredients. Tri-tip is not quite like the chicken but a close second read more

I'm really impressed with MealPro! The meals taste fresh, convenient and heat up perfectly. It's a relief to not cook, grocery shop and clean afterwards. MealPro is absolutely amazing! The medical meals they offer are top notch and really have made a big difference for a family member who needs to be very careful with his diet. The meals arrive quickly and the customer service is outstanding if you have any questions or an unexpected issue. The only problem we have is wishing we had a larger freezer to store more meals. Highly recommend! Thank you MealPro for making a big difference! We appreciate your company and your meals. read more

The food is great, convenient and always fresh. I do wish they used a bit more salt in their recipes, but I understand that they likely cook all meals low sodium to make things easier (ie, so that the specifically dietary meals don't have special recipes). That said, there's a lot of variety, and plenty of good choices, particularly the chicken teriyaki and beef bolognese. read more

I've tried several of the meals and have been quite satisfied. I had the best results letting them defrost in the fridge before microwaving them. Servings are generous... if you have something else to add as a side dish, many of these meals can be stretched to two servings, making them price-competitive with much less healthy fast food. Be ready to add seasoning to your own taste. read more
