The food is so fresh and flavorful, I was truly impressed. All the meals are fresh and she will customize anything to fit your nutritional needs. The first week we ordered enough meals for lunches and a couple dinner. The following week we ordered meals for all of our lunches and dinners because we were so impressed. She is extremely responsive and easy to work with, not like some of the bigger companies I have used. She also cooks seasonal and changes the menu accordingly which keeps the foods exciting. The Ghost Kitchen has a lot of great options, and while it's take out only, there are picnic benches all around if you're looking to eat right away. There are a few parking spots by the ghost kitchen but you're better off parking on the street since there's a flow of delivery drivers coming in and out for delivery orders. I recommend calling ahead to order (cash or venmo) or ordering online (for pickup or delivery). The last time I ordered I called in and I always get their 6 piece combo that comes with your choice of six yubu and a drink. It's a lot of food and could be shared, or if you're really hungry you could take them all down- they're delicious enough that you'll want to. Individual Yubu are about $5-$6 per piece and have a sweet tofu packet loaded with rice and then the topping of your choice. All the toppings are delicious and they offer a variety of options including fresh fish, bulgogi, corn and cheese, pork, and crab. They also have a variety of sides like mini udon, kimchi fried rice, sodduk sodduk, mandu, potato croquettes, mini honey pancakes and more. Some of my favorites are the bbq albacore, garlic butter crab, lemon pepper salmon, myungran crab, spicy tuna, and seared tuna. I love trying new options whenever they have them though. I've only ever ordered pick up, but I appreciate that delivery is available too. This is one of my favorite spots for a treat meal when I'm craving fresh fish. For me, these are more filling than sushi and I love the sweet and savory combination of flavors that yubu offers.

I'm sure the service onsite will be welcoming. I had their mandu, which was fresh. Crisp to the bite and flavorful. Not oily either which is a great plus. I had their bulgogi and spicy pork, I believe, and both were delicious. Each was flavorful and had the perfect balance between protein and rice. The fact that I don't need to add hot sauce speaks volumes to a perfectly seasoned item. I would highly recommend this place for a quick bite. Wouldn't say a meal, but def more of a snack spot to satisfy the Korean cravings.

I was eyeing the pastries so I had to come back and I'm so glad I did! I loved all of them. The pictures don't look great because they got shaken up on my drive but I promise they were delicious. My favorites were the blueberry Vatrushka and Samsa with beef (not pictured because I inhaled it) They did accidentally give my smoothie to the wrong table but they were so genuinely apologetic and even gave me a free pastry to make up for it. It's busy so it can get loud but I was able to have a conversation with my friends without it being too noisy. I also really appreciated that the employees were friendly when I asked how to pronounce things correctly. Definitely stopping by again on my next visit to Sacramento!

Just a heads up if you're planning to visit for the first time: the location is kind of hidden in a strip of warehouse/office buildings, so I actually drove past it at first. Once you walk in, there are two different sections. The left side is a sit-down café and the right side is more of a cafeteria-style area with pastries, drinks, and some of the viral items I've seen online. We ate on the café side, so my review is based on that experience. I was SO excited for my kids to try the pancake artist palettes. They serve mini pancakes on a paint palette tray, with colorful flavored syrups in the paint wells and a little paintbrush so kids can "paint" their pancakes before eating them. It looked adorable and like such a fun experience. Unfortunately, both of my kids absolutely hated them. They each took a bite and refused to eat any more, which is unusual because they both love pancakes. I tried the different syrup flavors myself, and while they're technically edible, I honestly thought they tasted pretty bad. The concept is cute, but the actual taste was not good in our opinion, and it ended up being a waste of money for us. The service also wasn't great. The girl at the register had a very "meh" attitude and didn't seem particularly friendly or welcoming and no one welcome you when you are there either . For my autistic son I ordered a plain burger because he won't eat it if it has sauce on it. When it came out, it wasn't plain. I let them know, and instead of having them remake it, I asked if they could just give me an extra bun since he could still eat the burger itself. They did bring extra buns, which I appreciated. I also ordered a mango chia bowl, and it took 40 minutes to come out. Forty minutes for a chia bowl is kind of crazy. I had actually gotten up and was waiting in line to ask for a refund when I noticed the girl at the register say something to the waitress, and suddenly my chia bowl appeared. It honestly felt like it had been forgotten about until I went up to the counter. As for my food, I ordered a croissant sandwich. It was okay, nothing special, but not terrible either. In total, I spent about $67. My younger kids didn't eat their food, my oldest son's order was wrong, my croissant was average, and I waited 40 minutes for a chia bowl. I drove quite a distance because I saw this place trending online, and unfortunately it did not live up to the hype for me. Maybe it's a better spot for adults, or maybe I just caught them on an off day. Either way, this was a one-and-done visit for my family, and I won't be returning.

Being so close to the university, I would expect more students to be here, but each time I've come (2), the crowd skews 30-40s. Lots of families and small children too. I love the concept of a food hall where everyone can get what they want. And with the convenience of table side ordering, there are no lines and people can really enjoy hanging out and chatting while the food is cooked and arrives. I will say my one complaint is that everything is served to go with very little reusable dishware, which creates lots of paper waste. All dishes come with the right accoutrements too - ketchup for fries, onion and cilantro for the Birria ramen. Offerings: - Birria Ramen: super good flavor and good quality meat. I would have liked it to be served in a different container, perhaps there is a bowl option I missed. 4/5 - Okie Dokies Burger: Calling all onion lovers to this place! It did also have great overall flavor and was cooked well. 5/5 - Okie Dokies Fries: Crinkle cut fries, these were just fine. A little seasoning would have made these better. 3/5 - Hawaiian Calzone: Surprisingly good! I really enjoyed the mix of flavors and the calzone wasn't as bready as most come. 4/5. - Kru hand rolls and sushi: It's Kru, it's good. The quality, flavors, everything. 5/5.
