Love these meals. Great to have on hand in the fridge for those hectic days with the kids.

Super impressed with this place and all it has to offer! I'm so jealous of the locals that live…read morenearby and can hang out here on any given day. Being so close to the university, I would expect more students to be here, but each time I've come (2), the crowd skews 30-40s. Lots of families and small children too. I love the concept of a food hall where everyone can get what they want. And with the convenience of table side ordering, there are no lines and people can really enjoy hanging out and chatting while the food is cooked and arrives. I will say my one complaint is that everything is served to go with very little reusable dishware, which creates lots of paper waste. All dishes come with the right accoutrements too - ketchup for fries, onion and cilantro for the Birria ramen. Offerings: - Birria Ramen: super good flavor and good quality meat. I would have liked it to be served in a different container, perhaps there is a bowl option I missed. 4/5 - Okie Dokies Burger: Calling all onion lovers to this place! It did also have great overall flavor and was cooked well. 5/5 - Okie Dokies Fries: Crinkle cut fries, these were just fine. A little seasoning would have made these better. 3/5 - Hawaiian Calzone: Surprisingly good! I really enjoyed the mix of flavors and the calzone wasn't as bready as most come. 4/5. - Kru hand rolls and sushi: It's Kru, it's good. The quality, flavors, everything. 5/5.

This is a pretty cool place, but you have to be careful what you order. Friends ordered several…read moredeep fried appetizers (chicken, cheese, French fries) that were very yummy. But our Gyro sandwich was disappointing...very tasty, but where's the meat?! Sandwich needed about triple the amount of meat provided. Nothing worse than an $18 sandwich of mostly sauce & produce.

A delivery-only business with the help of established pizza restaurants (this particular Calzone…read morelocation is serviced by the Pizza Guys off of Bruceville). Usually I try to avoid ghost-kitchen-y type of businesses, but the menu looked intriguing; it's charming that the calzones on the menu are named after areas throughout California and the ingredient combos in the calzones looked intriguing. I ended up ordering the Santa Cruz calzone as well as the garlic stuffed cheesy bread. Food arrived in spiffy brand-labeled cardboard boxes. Food itself looked good also.....now time to dig in! I took a bite off of one of the edge pieces of the garlic stuffed cheesy bread.....the bread was super delicious. Pillow-soft, crispy, not greasy at all. I was pleasantly surprised and was going to be a super fan of it until I reached the garlic white sauce. Way too rich, and there were globs of it inside the center bread pieces. Thought the calzone would help redeem things a bit. Nope. The BBQ sauce sauce drizzle on top of the calzone was way too sweet (tasted like cheap-o BBQ sauce). The syrupy pineapple bits inside the calzone didn't help either. Instead of completely tossing the food, I ended up dismantling the calzone and the cheesy bread focusing on just the bread parts. Overall, nice food presentation and menu offerings, but the taste was way off the mark.

I had asked for a unicorn pull-apart cupcake cake before I feel like those were even really a thing yet, and she absolutely nailed it. It turned out adorable and honestly started our obsession with pull-apart cupcake cakes ever since. They're just so much easier for parties, especially with kids. Everyone can grab their own cupcake without the whole cake-cutting chaos, and I love that there are usually little mini cupcakes worked in as fillers for anyone who just wants a tiny sweet treat. Not only are the desserts cute, but everything we've ordered has always tasted fresh and delicious too, which matters just as much to me as how it looks. One thing I really appreciate is how creative they are with custom orders. I've gone in with ideas before and somehow they always make them come to life even better than I pictured. Helpful tip: If you have a kid birthday party coming up, definitely consider a pull-apart cupcake cake. It makes serving so much easier and the kids absolutely love it. Still one of our favorite local spots for special occasion treats.
