So I found this place after a Yelp event in the area and I needed grab a bit to eat. Little did I know I would run into my favorite lager at any brewery in the Sacramento area. First of all they have a pretty large parking lot, they are located in Historic Elk Grove, it's a pretty busy part of town on weekends. Walking in, it feels like a pretty wide open space, though it was quite busy as most of the tables were occupied. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, I did see spots outside but after a quick look over, I took a spot at their bar. It's open seating at the bar. I was pretty unfamiliar with the beer at this brewery, though the names seemed familiar. I decided to go with a beer flight so I could try a few of their beers and get a solid feel for what they serve here. A beer flight here comes with 5 beers and cost $14.00. My beers for the sampler was as follows 1. Confused Therapist-Hazy Imperial IPA 2. Peace, Love & Haze-Hazy IPA 3.Taco Amber-Amber Lager 4.Taco Truck Lager-Mexican-style Lager 5. Therapist-Imperial IPA My two favorite of these beers were the Confused Therapist and the Taco Truck Lager-both just wonderful drinking experiences, but different. As luck would have it,the wife was the smart one and got the best beer. She got the Taco Truck Lime($8.00), which is similar to their Taco Truck drink but it has added lime and sea salt crystals. That's probably the best lager I've ever had and what we got a 6 pack($11.99) of to take home. It's so good. As far as food goes we ended up splitting a Brisket Burger($22.00) with a side of Garlic Fries($3.00). The Brisket Burger was pretty tasty, but I think I prefer a regular burger instead of brisket. The Garlic Fries were elite though-the wifey and I had that hitting breath after eating those bad boys. The bartending staff were quite friendly and chatty and checked on us frequently and didn't hesitate when I had questions about their beer and food menu. Overall these are a few of the reasons I call Dust Bowl in Elk Grove the "Perfect Brewery " .Great Beer, Great Food, Great Service, and Great Facilities. I can't wait to go back.
