Love a Jersey Mike's #10. But avoid this JM service is unfriendly and the sandwich just isn't as good

We stopped by here for some dinner before our movie. This was easy and quick. We only tried Jersey Mike's once before, at an airport, in New York. That was not good. But usually, airport places are not great. I order the Big Kahuna. They grilled it. It took a few minutes, not too long of a wait. It tasted good. They didn't over cook the meat. There wasn't a whole lot of cheese in it. It was still good.

The #9 Club Supreme always hit the spot. It is my all time go to favorite sandwich to get here. Service was fast and the restaurant was clean. I took mine to go and was really impressed the way they made my sandwich into my specifications.

I'd give Jersey Mike's a solid "A-Ok" three stars. I was at Delta Shores for an appointment, but arrived a bit early and Jersey Mike's was one of the few businesses open, so I thought I'd pick up lunch for my husband and I. The staff seemed surprised when I came in (around 10:30am) but greeted me. I think I'm a morning person so I may have been a bit too chipper and chatty. The staff was all business as they started constructing my sandwiches. You can tell they're about speed and efficiency. Before I even paid they had the next customer's order done, so pretty quick! For two regular sandwiches I paid $28.26 including a 20% tip, so about $23.55 before tip. The ingredients were fresh and the sandwiches were a good size. Great if you're really craving a good deli sandwich and your favorite mom and pop spot isn't around.

I love the California Club Sub on rosemary parmesan, it's amazing. I order the same thing every time, and they never disappoint. Sometimes, I can't find that option on the mobile app, so when I ask in person, the staff are happy to make it for me. Depending on what day and time you go, the crowds can very much, so it may be hard to get a table inside to eat.

I come to this location often on my break and always receive great food and service. Jersey mikes in general my favorite sandwich spot in town. I've had their chicken bacon ranch, chili cheese steak and today I'm having their original Italian. Every time it delivers. Kaleb, I believe was his name has helped me a few times at this location so shout out to him for going above and beyond and helping me with my orders.

My family and I tried Sourdough & Co for the first time and we all agreed the food was delicious…read more The sourdough bread was soft and tasted authentic. We ordered the turkey sandwich with mozzarella cheese, chicken pesto sandwich and a BLT sandwich. Each sandwich was filled with a reasonable amount of meat, cheese and toppings. The manager was so kind to us and even checked up on us to ensure we were enjoying our meal. They ran out of the tea we had wanted which was unfortunate but the manager gave us a cookie on the house due to the inconvenience. Overall our experience at this specific location was great and felt this was a wonderful first impression of this franchise.

The interior looks decent with lots of seating and going for an authentic vibe with the fake brick, wood panels and siding. Quite an interesting choice. Service: It was decent. Staff taking orders quick and moving quickly as they could with two staff. One of them would bring the orders to your table which was a nice touch. Food: This is where it all starts falling apart. First they seem to have supply issues. Out of salami, the soda machine was out of syrup for most of the drinks. The chips were not stocked fully and they had boxes set aside but not opened. Not sure if I as a customer can open those boxes. There was a lot of missing items at this store and that's hard to stomach. For reference I visited this location at 1PM on a Saturday. Otherwise, the food was decent. A little light on the protein on the Cholula chicken, another miss. Missing a lot of items is killer and there seemed to be overall disorganization at this business. Hard to imagine going to this place again with all the options around.

When people discuss quality grocery stores, Corti Brothers is often mentioned when it comes to the…read moreSacramento region. I don't know how I have lived in Sac for 25 years and have never been here. The store is filled with eye popping quality foods. Think of it as a smaller version of Whole Foods when it comes to food quality and prices. I noticed they had some top quality cuts of meats. The prices are quite high so I'll have to splurge some time on a nice steak. I did notice some items were pretty reasonably priced. For example, I was rather surprised to see they had a very large variety of Temple coffee beans for for $14.99 a bag. That's cheaper than I have seen elsewhere but I didn't pay close attention to the size since I was fully stocked on coffee at the moment. I had to try one of their legendary made to order sandwiches. Someone had recommended The Tuscany. Boy, was that delicious! And the sandwich was very large for $9.99, I couldn't finish it all in one sitting. There are tables outside so I purchased a bottle soda and a sandwich. Unfortunately, I didn't think ahead because there are no bottle openers available for customers to use so I was unable to enjoy my nice cold drink with my sandwich. I'll have to either bring my own bottle opener next time or choose a drink that is a screw top or flip opener.

I've always wanted to try their sandwiches because I've heard so many people rave about them! The…read morefirst sandwich I tried was the Corti Special on a Dutch Crunch roll, and the second time I also got the Corti Special, but on a sweet roll. The Corti Special is where they choose the types of meat that go into your sandwich. Their sandwiches are big enough for two people. I don't remember exactly what meats were in my first sandwich, but I definitely enjoyed that one more. The second time, the sweet roll got a little soggy for my liking, and I wasn't a big fan of the beef that was included. I am definitely a fan of their honey mustard, though! You can order your sandwiches online, or if you're ordering in-store, there's a slip you can fill out with your order. I waited about 20-30 minutes for my first sandwich, which wasn't too bad considering it was a busy weekend. The second time, I only waited about 5 minutes. They still have a great variety of meats, cheeses, and alcohol. It's a good place to stop by if you're looking to pick up some specialty grocery items along with a sandwich.

Makes it so flavorful and delicious. I also tried the garlic bread and the pate chaud this time around. The garlic bread was only 50 cents per piece. I wanted to try it. It was very fresh. The late chaud was also really good. Nice, warm, and flaky. I was curious on what everyone else was getting so I asked about the baguette that a ton of people were walking out with. The employee said it was a French baguette. Next time I'll have to try it. Always busy inside but line moves fast.

One of the Best Cheap Eats in Sacramento!!!…read more Duc Huong is one of the best places in Sacramento for an affordable bánh mì! AMBIENCE: Casual, no-frills sandwich shop focused on takeout. The BREAD: Duc Huong has a large bread-making operation and is known for supplying baguettes to sandwich shops around the Bay Area. Their bread is a big part of what makes their bánh mì so good. What I Ordered: #1 Thit Nuong (Grilled Pork), their best seller. The pork is sweet, savory, and well-marinated, paired with house mayo, crunchy pickled daikon, and carrots. A classic combination! Other Recommendations: #2 Dac Biet (Cold Cut Combo): A traditional bánh mì with pate, pork loaf (chả lụa), ham, and headcheese. #13 Ba Chi (Pork Belly): A richer option if you prefer tender, flavorful pork belly. BREAD Choices: You can choose a standard baguette or a longer hoagie-style roll. They also offer a signature garlic bread roll for an extra $0.50. Vietnamese Iced Coffee: A great pairing if you enjoy strong, sweet Vietnamese coffee. PARKING: Free, but limited since the lot is shared with neighboring businesses. SEATING: No dine-in seating, so this is mainly a takeout spot. SERVICE: Decent and efficient. PRICE: Around $4.25 for a regular sandwich and $6 for a large one. It's hard to beat these prices! BLACK MARKET: I've heard that a convenience store in Midtown buys sandwiches from this location every morning and resells them for nearly double the price. I can understand why people pay extra for convenience, especially when the original location gets busy! Overall, Duc Huong is a great spot for an affordable, satisfying bánh mì. Definitely worth a visit if you're craving Vietnamese sandwiches without spending much.
