Today, I was craving a milk tea, but I wanted to check out a never boba and dessert sport and trusty ol' Yelp popped up with Kobing Dessert Studio not to mention their rating is 4.5 so i knew I had to see what they offer. They do not have a big drink selection, but what they do have is different from other boba spots and they do have a selection of desserts. The service is really good and they two employees were very friendly. The inside is super cute and cozy. I ordered the coconut strawberry cloud drink. It consists of coconut water and fresh strawberry milk. I added boba and coconut jelly to my drink. I will for sure be back the prices are great too!

We ate around the cheesecake bites and mochi because they were SO STALE. I personally don't prefer my bingsu drenched in syrup either. They have a lot of other things to order, but I recommend skipping the strawberry cheesecake bingsu. The spot was really cute and clean. There were a ton of tables open on a Wednesday evening. Staff was super nice and efficient!

Everyone remained so patient and helpful. I need to remember to bring some cash for kids because there's some vending machines with toys. After settling in for a while, we got all our orders in and brought out so quickly. The food and ice creams are tasty as usual. My kid pointed out that the burger buns and fries are crisped to perfection. I'm considering going back to get a gallon of the seasonal pumpkin flavor to top off my coffees!

Every time we order takeout and get our usual Rachel sundaes, the included sides of hot fudge are consistently only filled halfway. Interestingly, when I pay extra for an additional side of fudge, that cup comes filled to the top. Because this has happened repeatedly across both the Citrus Heights and Folsom locations, it feels less like a simple employee oversight and more like a deliberate management policy to cut corners. When a Rachel sundae costs $14.99, skimping on the toppings that are supposed to come with it is incredibly disappointing. For premium prices, customers expect premium consistency. Please stop shortchanging your takeout orders and do better.

I am SO grateful that Sweet Haven Bakery is now across the street from the yoga studio where I teach. Their cookies and cupcakes are delicious. The staff who work there are friendly and great to talk with. I was pleasantly surprised to find there is also a coffee shop in the store as well (separate review coming for Ka Pua Coffee), also with plant-based options. I'm basic and boring and get the iced Americano, but I've gotten the seasonal island latte for my husband who loved it. Swing by and try out these delicious, locally-owned shops.

Seriously, I've never had anything I didn't rave about here. Bonus for having a coffee stand inside as well. Yum. What knocks off a star for me are the near impossible hours. A bakery that opens at 10am knocks out a morning purchase on my way to work and since they also close at 5pm that also stops a dessert purchase on my way home. And they are closed on Sundays... *Sigh* I really hope they do well in this new location, but they're leaving a lot of money on the table in my opinion with these operating hours.

The vibe and…read morecolors gave off a late-night hangout spot feel, so it just felt like the right place to be. Everything on their menu looked really good, but I decided to go with something a little more refreshing: a strawberry sundae. Ordering is super easy through two tablets to the left of the counter. It does force you to provide a phone number, so make sure you don't forget to opt out of those pesky text messages once you leave (if that's your preference). The tap-to-pay was very responsive too. The order didn't take long at all, and I very much enjoyed sitting on their little poofs around one of their tables. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and my sundae was so light and easy to eat. It had a generous helping of strawberry goodness, with even more at the bottom, which was quite a lovely surprise. Also, the two Pocky sticks on the side didn't even make it past my first two spoonfulls. Last time I came here was a while ago, but I will definitely make an effort not to wait that long again.

Black Sesame Swirl - 9.2/10 This ice cream is SO good like it tastes very nutty and toasty while not being overwhelmingly sweet. I would definitely get this ice cream again if I happen to stop by. Yuzu Sparkling Matcha - 5.1/10 I thought about trying their matcha lattes but I wanted to try something different so that's why I got this drink instead and honestly.. it's not that good tbh. I honestly hate sparkling drinks with matcha in general because it doesn't pair well imo. The Sparkling Yuzu is like the only thing that I can only taste and the sourness makes the matcha really bitter in a bad way. Although I do appreciate the color of the matcha so you know that they're not using low quality matcha that's for sure. Miso Caramel Kohl - 7.5/10 My family member got this drink and it honestly tastes a lot better than I thought especially since they use miso in coffee which is an interesting combination. Also, the caramel gives the miso a more nutty and sweet taste. I don't really like caramel but it's honestly not too bad. But the coffee flavor is REALLY strong so I would recommend it for those who love coffee. Service was good and they made the ice cream and drinks pretty fast even though it was kind of crowded when I went. There's some seating but just make sure to come when it's not too crowded. The place is pretty clean and nice overall so I would definitely recommend their ice cream especially the Black Sesame Swirl! ‍

For the price, portion size, and overall experience, I personally wouldn't return or recommend this place:( So disappointing.

Everything is made to order with a lot of care. - #2 Soft Serve: 10/10 - creamy ube and strawberry soft serve that's not too sweet. Crispy, chewy mochi Taiyaki. Decadent custard filling. I loved the Oreo and Biscoff crumbs. - Strawberry Banana Kroffle: 8/10 - we were told to eat it with our hands. It was a bit messy, but it's part of the fun! The waffle texture wasn't the same as the Taiyaki texture, but it was still crispy and tasty. - Pizza Taiyaki: 10/10 - yummy, chewy Taiyaki filled with cheese, pepperoni, and marinara sauce. This one was soooo good. A must try!
