The theme of the party was a tropical rainforest with a waterfall, and somehow she managed to capture the entire theme in a cake. The attention to detail was incredible. From the cascading waterfall and rocks to the greenery, vines, flowers, birds, snakes, chameleon, and all the tiny jungle details, every part of the cake was thoughtfully designed and beautifully handmade. The cake matched our backdrop and decorations so perfectly that it genuinely looked like it had been created as part of the entire party setup. What impressed us most was the amount of creativity, time, and effort that clearly went into making it. This wasn't just a birthday cake! It was a centerpiece and a work of art. Our guests kept stopping to look at all the details and asking who made it! And most importantly, Aditi absolutely loved seeing her name incorporated into her own little rainforest waterfall. Him and his wife own the shop which they opened about a year ago. She's the baker. Their speciality is custom order cakes. Gorgeous, sophistically designed cakes. But they are not a one trick pony. No sirree. They also sold cupcakes, trifles, cream puffs, and tarts. They were all sitting pretty looking divinely delicious in a refrigerated counter. I bought two cupcakes. One was a honey roasted peanut butter on chocolate cupcake and the other I forgot the name of. But it was a chocolate cupcake of some sort with a vanilla type of cream frosting. Those were $4.50 a piece. Carlos told me the cupcakes are cold but best eaten about 40 minutes to a hour at room temp. Sorry to say I had no will power to wait that long. They both got devoured shortly after I got back to my car. Even without the wait, it was delicious. Moist, flavorful cake. The frosting was delicious and piped on perfectly. Sure the frosting was a bit stiff when I ate it because I had no patience to let it settle to room temp, but it didn't take away from the taste. Homemade perfection.
