Picked my food up & it was all in stapled bags, so I had no idea until I got home that the order was incomplete & most of the food expires in 72 hours!! I even had one meal that expires TODAY. I got the pb cups & they're so old that they're hard as rocks & the chocolate has turned white on top. I called & got the "I can't do anything to help you, but someone will call you at a later date" routine. What a waste of $250!! Eff this place!!! The manager called me and offered me 30% off to keep the rotten food, lol. She aggressively spoke over me when I was genuinely trying to find a resolution. Then told me she illegally recorded my phone call, lol. Completely toxic behavior. How is this place such a mess and still in business?? As you can see with the following response, the manager likes to blame the customer for not being happy that they got robbed by this place. Meals are incredibly tiny for the expense. Alyssa, the cashier was incredibly unhelpful when I called to ask where my order was. They don't ever answer their phone to tell you where your order is and I had to call corporate and email several people to even get my order. This business must be going under because they're absolutely not answering to anyone. They delivered my food and bags and not even on ice as their website indicates. And the food literally has no flavor. For instance, the chicken piccata taste like chicken with absolutely no seasoning on it. What in your opinion makes this a piccata? You're charging people upwards of $12 a dish and the food is flavorless. Had to throw the whole thing away because the broccoli tasted like it had been rinsed in some kind of a cleaning fluid. I don't know if it was the freezing or the food, but each meal was between "not good and horrible. Beef was so tough you couldn't chew it and chicken was dry. Broccoli tasted bad. I am a fan of FitEats. I do like going INSIDE to take a look at the meal options. I truly love that they have a variety of entrees, bulk proteins, bulk greens and snacks. The parking is easy (private parking available), staff are friendly. There is a large fridge to your left when you enter. The meals are available and easy to read the ingredients, calories, etc. The "Yellow Dot" on the entree / option means there is a 30% off discount usually due to expiry or close to expiry / best buy. You can frequently freeze these options if needed (just ask the staff). Fit Eats allows me to not think about what I am having for dinner! As a busy working mother, I am focused on my health and fitness but sometimes it's hard to come home and fix up a meal for myself while I'm trying to get things ready for my family. It's easy to pop the entrees into the microwave / heat up and enjoy! Here are some of my top choices when I go: - Tofu Pad Thai (regular size) - usually add greens when I am home! - Veggie Lasagna - one of my favorites! I usually add a side of protein on my own like egg whites or small chicken breast - Turkey Enchiladas - delicious! This is the second time I've had a horrible interaction with the older female who works at this location. The first time I chalked it up to she was probably having a bad day. This time, I walked into the business at 10:15am on a Friday, which the hours online and the store clearly started 9am-7pm. She is cleaning some floor mats inside and as I walk in the door yells "we're not open. I have no food for you". As I say alright and go to leave, I asked her why her hours say she's open if she's not. She looks at me like I'm crazy and says "well my open sign isn't on so I'm not open". I am blown away by how this place has changed in recent years and sadly not for the better. What's disappointing is that when we come here we spend a significant amount because the meals are pricey, particularly if you opt for the larger portion. I made the HORRENDOUS mistake of ordering two large portions of the Brisket Enchiladas because c'mon both of those things are heavenly right? How could this possibly go wrong? Well they managed to completely destroy what should have been delightful. The sauce is dark and bitter almost to the point of tasting rancid. The "enchiladas" are FILLED with black olives to the point of being overkill. I decided to pawn the 2nd portion off on my son who is big on olives. The look on his face after the first bite was pretty memorable and unfortunately a bite or two was all he could muster. The entire time he was questioning the sauce and asking if I had tried it, poking and prodding for my opinion. The insistence that I take a bite of his meal didn't stop so I grabbed his fork and went for it again (reluctantly), to try and show him that it wasn't entirely inedible. He was mortified when I turned and spat out the large bite which was purely fat from the meat, into the trash. There was no convincing him after that. Two large portions, equaling around $25 total, DISCARDED. The quality of meat seems to have declined. I did try and dig for meat in the enchilada and was able to find a lean piece and it didn't taste good. Same with the ground beef in the overly salty Keto Lasagna. This was all enough to turn me off entirely from Fit Eats. Add the customer service as of late and that's the cherry on top of this major disappointment. read more

Served with roasted rosemary red potatoes and roasted asparagus topped with a balsamic reduction." ...... I received tri-tip that was hard to chew and had ZERO sauce, NO balsamic sauce whatsoever. No rosemary on the potatoes and No "balsamic reduction" WHATSOEVER. My meal was basically nothing like what is pictured or described. VERY disappointing. My bf ordered the BLACK & BLEU KETO TRI-TIP described as "All natural blackened Angus tri-tip, topped with bleu cheese and served with sauteed mushrooms, onions and asparagus.".... He received a piece of chicken breast topped with some kind of what sauce and 4-5 pieces of asparagus. THAT'S IT!!! My bf are used to plain foods since we're used to food prepping for competition, but we were looking forward to treating ourselves to something tasty and what we received from Fit Eats was the biggest disappointment considering they also weren't able to fulfill our order for the larger size. I bought a Groupon for $30 worth of food here. I wanted to try it out since I meal prep from time to time and wanted to see if it was worth my while. The gal working behind the counter was friendly and not in your face. I hate it when I'm the only patron and the person behind the counter gives me little breathing room. Didn't catch her name, just know that it was her first time alone managing the store. With my $30, I bought a steak bowl, chicken enchiladas, Swedish meatballs, and veggies. The portions are of course, small because they have to accommodate your diet. My bill was a little over $30, I chose the steamed veggies since my tab was a bit under$30. The veggies were $6. The food IMO tasted kinda bland but I guess it's good for people on diet restrictions. I love the concept behind FitEats, but it's really not for me. I usually meal prep my own meals and find that this is a luxury. It would be great for someone too busy to meal prep themselves and need portion controlled foods. read more

Very average 3-star food until this week and my interaction with Stefani. I had delayed delivery for a week, but the food was accidentally dropped off this morning. I emailed support and let them know of this issue. I was told to repackage the meals and leave them at my front door for pickup. In the next 30 minutes I was told 1) they would be resold at the store, 2) they would be brought back to the kitchen, inspected, and then donated, and 3) they would be put in the trash. I talked to Stefani about my concern that delivered food would be consumed by someone else, having no idea how long it sat without refrigeration or if it was tampered with. Her email stated clearly in the first sentence: "We will actually be taking them back to our kitchen to be inspected our food manager will see if they are suitable for a donation." I stated that the food is obviously cold because it is now sitting in a refrigerated truck. Stefani then started to berate me for questioning this and accused me of twisting her words to make it sound like they resell bad food. She was so loud, my wife could hear her from across the room! If the food was better, maybe I'd get over her attitude and the way I was treated, but for average-at-best food, I'm happy to cancel my subscription. Super disappointed. I was traveling and forgot my meals. A buddy from the area suggest this place. I drive 20 min out of the way to get here. I walk in and am the only person in the building. I was not acknowledged by the employee working. She never even looked up from her phone. After a few min of browsing rhe refrigerator area I got frustrated do to poor labeling and they had a ton of meals to choose from. I walked over and asked the lady behind the counter for a menu. She told me they don't have one for what's in the store but I could look online and see what they have but she said just because it's online don't me we have it here. I told her I was looking for a meal with little to no fat. She responded by telling me she doesn't know about fats in the meals and that I would just have to read each label. Some of their meals are decent, some are bad.... But the the reason for two stars = if you're counting your calories, which most people eating here are, a lot of their meals are a joke. An example is their chicken taco bowl. Same Large size and calorie count for two bowls on label, yet different containers with one containing nearly twice as much chicken as the other. I also got three of their pancake meals and the label said sugar free (zero calorie) syrup, and two of the packages had sugar-filled syrup and one being sugar free. That added around 150-200 calories on a 200-calorie meal... they just throw nutritional facts and do whatever they want with the food. Doesnt deserve one star, but definitely doesn't deserve 4+! Shame on them for lying on calories... read more

Have ordered from them multiple times and the food is not consistent. Sometimes it's been good and sometimes pretty bad. I also don't think a company advertising "healthy" food should use cellulose or canola oil in their meals. Disappointing because they have the potential to be great. We really enjoy the convenience of having all our meals delivered to our home. I work nearby and occcassionally grab a quick lunch. I also ordered one for my mom and she also loved it. I ordered the peanut butter chocolate brownie and I couldn't wait to try it so I ate it right after the breakfast burrito, amazing! I first discovered Fit Eats back before they had any stores. I lived near their kitchen which is over off Bradshaw and Kiefer in the Rosemont area. I loved their delivery and delicious food. When they built their first store downtown I just so happen to work down there and it was convenient within walking distance. It was such a good experience walking in and grabbing my food for the day and great customer service. When they opened their Roseville location I just so happen to be going to LifeTime Fitness gym in Roseville, and sometimes when I forget to order my food online for delivery, it is so convenient to swing by this store and grab my food.
