Beef & Broccoli Stir Fry - My Review At first, I thought this was a great product. It's convenient, ready to heat, and the nutrition facts made it seem like a healthy, macro-friendly meal. It also tasted good. However, after looking more closely at the ingredients and comparing the nutrition label to the actual portions, I had some concerns. I weighed each component and found about 50 g of cooked Angus steak, 90 g of cooked rice, and about 50 g of broccoli. The nutrition label lists 45 g of carbohydrates, but 90 g of cooked rice does not normally contain that many carbs, which suggests that a significant portion comes from added ingredients. The same applies to the protein. The label claims 34 g of protein, but based on the amount of cooked beef included, that number seems difficult to justify. Overall, I feel the nutrition label is somewhat misleading, and the added ingredients increase the calories much more than expected for what is essentially a simple meal of steak, rice, and broccoli. It's convenient and easy to prepare, but in my opinion, it's not a great choice for someone trying to eat healthy or accurately track calories and macros. To me, it feels more like another product marketed as healthy than one that truly delivers on that promise. read more

I had a wonderful experience at Fit Eats! I've been a loyal customer here for years, so when I see some of the negative reviews online, it doesn't sway me. For instance, if people miss their scheduled pick-up time, how is that the business's fault? As a small business owner myself, I know you must have guidelines or you won't be successful. There is a sign in the store that states "no refunds," which makes offering a discount or store credit seem fair if an issue ever comes up. But the real reason I keep coming back is the service. The team member working during the daytime was incredibly pleasant, welcoming, and accommodating. She went above and beyond to ensure a great visit, and her positive energy and exceptional helpfulness are exactly why I am definitely a customer. Highly recommend stopping by during the day! read more

Hello, From one business owner to another, I wanted to make you aware of a very disappointing customer service experience I had today. I was a longtime Fit Eats customer when you offered delivery and recently decided I wanted to start ordering from you again. I placed an order, but due to some confusion on my part about the pickup instructions, my husband wasn't able to pick it up on the scheduled day. When I called to ask about the order, I wasn't expecting special treatment. I simply wanted to understand my options. Unfortunately, the person I spoke with was extremely abrasive and dismissive. I was told that because the order wasn't picked up, I would not receive a refund and that it was entirely my fault. They repeatedly stated they had already checked with the owner. When I asked, "Is this really how you treat someone who is trying to become a customer again?" the response was essentially, "You can have the refund, but it's your problem that you didn't pick it up." What was most disappointing wasn't the refund--it was the complete lack of empathy and professionalism. The conversation left me feeling like my business didn't matter. I also asked for the employee's name so I could provide feedback, and they refused to give it to me. As a fellow business owner, I know every interaction reflects on the company. I would want to know if someone representing my business was treating customers this way because, regardless of the outcome, people remember how they are made to feel. It's unfortunate because I've always had positive experiences with Fit Eats in the past. I hope you'll address this internally, as I can't imagine this is the level of customer service you want associated with your business. You need to get your people in check. Looks like based on he reviews this is there is a theme. read more

I tried the salmon, brown rice and ratatouille and it was worth the price. The customer service was excellent. There wasn't much to the ambiance but it was clean and functioned nicely. read more

Did a ToGoodToGo order and was excited to try the mac and cheese we got! Unfortunately when we heated it up and took a bite it tasted putrid. Was hopeful that the bad reviews on here were just one-offs but I suppose not. Was worth a try but will definitely not be back. read more

I have never received as poor of customer service as I have recently with my experience at Fit Eats. After just getting off the phone with the Roseville location, I will never be using Fit Eats again and will tell everyone I know to do the same! To be spoken to the way I was, the employee not listening to my issue and being hung up on is extremely rude and unwarranted for an issue that was Fit Eats fault in the first place. Poor poor example of customer service. read more

I ordered my meals and paid for the delivery and I never got them delivered so I went to pick up my meals and still was charged the delivery fee. When I got home they weren't even the meals I had ordered. Now they charged me again for the following week and they said they haven't got any meals in. Now I'm out $130 read more

Unfortunately, the reviews about how bad the service at this place is are all true. I desperately NEEDED this place to work for me after enrolling in night school. I spent over $250 this week for lunches & dinners. Picked my food up & it was all in stapled bags, so I had no idea until I got home that the order was incomplete & most of the food expires in 72 hours!! I even had one meal that expires TODAY. I got the pb cups & they're so old that they're hard as rocks & the chocolate has turned white on top. I called & got the "I can't do anything to help you, but someone will call you at a later date" routine. What a waste of $250!! Eff this place!!! The manager called me and offered me 30% off to keep the rotten food, lol. She aggressively spoke over me when I was genuinely trying to find a resolution. Then told me she illegally recorded my phone call, lol. Completely toxic behavior. How is this place such a mess and still in business?? As you can see with the following response, the manager likes to blame the customer for not being happy that they got robbed by this place. Bottom line, she refused to just refund my money like she should have, even after explaining their mistake, after mistake, after mistake--sending me home with missing food and garbage. And SHE actually hung up on ME for pointing out that this is why they have bad yelp reviews, lol. I tried to make my life easier and ended up with this headache instead. Don't make my mistake. Fit Eats - Expired ON date of pick up!! Really?! - Health Markets Near Me - Roseville, California

I am a fan of FitEats. I do like going INSIDE to take a look at the meal options. I truly love that they have a variety of entrees, bulk proteins, bulk greens and snacks. The parking is easy (private parking available), staff are friendly. There is a large fridge to your left when you enter. The meals are available and easy to read the ingredients, calories, etc. The "Yellow Dot" on the entree / option means there is a 30% off discount usually due to expiry or close to expiry / best buy. You can frequently freeze these options if needed (just ask the staff). Fit Eats allows me to not think about what I am having for dinner! As a busy working mother, I am focused on my health and fitness but sometimes it's hard to come home and fix up a meal for myself while I'm trying to get things ready for my family. It's easy to pop the entrees into the microwave / heat up and enjoy! Here are some of my top choices when I go: - Tofu Pad Thai (regular size) - usually add greens when I am home! - Veggie Lasagna - one of my favorites! I usually add a side of protein on my own like egg whites or small chicken breast - Turkey Enchiladas - delicious! If you do purchase enough of the entrees, you can earn rewards (such as discounts) towards future purchases. read more

Meals are incredibly tiny for the expense. Alyssa, the cashier was incredibly unhelpful when I called to ask where my order was. They don't ever answer their phone to tell you where your order is and I had to call corporate and email several people to even get my order. This business must be going under because they're absolutely not answering to anyone. They delivered my food and bags and not even on ice as their website indicates. And the food literally has no flavor. For instance, the chicken piccata taste like chicken with absolutely no seasoning on it. What in your opinion makes this a piccata? You're charging people upwards of $12 a dish and the food is flavorless. Had to throw the whole thing away because the broccoli tasted like it had been rinsed in some kind of a cleaning fluid. I'm not exaggerating it was that horrible. Don't give them your money. I will never buy from them again. read more

I bought about 10 meals and froze them so I could have them during surgery recovery. I got the meals that stated they were freezable. I don't know if it was the freezing or the food, but each meal was between "not good and horrible. Beef was so tough you couldn't chew it and chicken was dry. Broccoli tasted bad. Meals definitely not as good as they were years ago. Won't be wasting money there again. read more

I don't think they will stay in business too much longer. Great place for food prep grab and go. However their menu has been the same! The kitchen used to make this delicious breakfast that had the best coffee cake. I called the store few years back and they said it's all based on the chef and also what were popular sales. I know the one I have requested was popular because it emptied the shelves fast! If not I bought it all, so high demand in sales was there. So what they told me was a bunch of bologna! read more

This is the second time I've had a horrible interaction with the older female who works at this location. The first time I chalked it up to she was probably having a bad day. This time, I walked into the business at 10:15am on a Friday, which the hours online and the store clearly started 9am-7pm. She is cleaning some floor mats inside and as I walk in the door yells "we're not open. I have no food for you". As I say alright and go to leave, I asked her why her hours say she's open if she's not. She looks at me like I'm crazy and says "well my open sign isn't on so I'm not open". I'm not sure how she expects to keep her place in business when she is rude to the customers and doesn't provide the product. Good luck getting food from this lady! read more

I am blown away by how this place has changed in recent years and sadly not for the better. What's disappointing is that when we come here we spend a significant amount because the meals are pricey, particularly if you opt for the larger portion. I made the HORRENDOUS mistake of ordering two large portions of the Brisket Enchiladas because c'mon both of those things are heavenly right? How could this possibly go wrong? Well they managed to completely destroy what should have been delightful. The sauce is dark and bitter almost to the point of tasting rancid. The "enchiladas" are FILLED with black olives to the point of being overkill. I decided to pawn the 2nd portion off on my son who is big on olives. The look on his face after the first bite was pretty memorable and unfortunately a bite or two was all he could muster. The entire time he was questioning the sauce and asking if I had tried it, poking and prodding for my opinion. The insistence that I take a bite of his meal didn't stop so I grabbed his fork and went for it again (reluctantly), to try and show him that it wasn't entirely inedible. He was mortified when I turned and spat out the large bite which was purely fat from the meat, into the trash. There was no convincing him after that. Two large portions, equaling around $25 total, DISCARDED. The quality of meat seems to have declined. I did try and dig for meat in the enchilada and was able to find a lean piece and it didn't taste good. Same with the ground beef in the overly salty Keto Lasagna. This was all enough to turn me off entirely from Fit Eats. Add the customer service as of late and that's the cherry on top of this major disappointment. read more

Ordered via Door Dash... I ordered the "Certified Angus tri-tip marinated in a balsamic sauce then grilled. Served with roasted rosemary red potatoes and roasted asparagus topped with a balsamic reduction." ...... I received tri-tip that was hard to chew and had ZERO sauce, NO balsamic sauce whatsoever. No rosemary on the potatoes and No "balsamic reduction" WHATSOEVER. My meal was basically nothing like what is pictured or described. VERY disappointing. My bf ordered the BLACK & BLEU KETO TRI-TIP described as "All natural blackened Angus tri-tip, topped with bleu cheese and served with sauteed mushrooms, onions and asparagus.".... He received a piece of chicken breast topped with some kind of what sauce and 4-5 pieces of asparagus. THAT'S IT!!! My bf are used to plain foods since we're used to food prepping for competition, but we were looking forward to treating ourselves to something tasty and what we received from Fit Eats was the biggest disappointment considering they also weren't able to fulfill our order for the larger size. Not really worth my time to write all this, but when it's this bad, FitEats and others should probably know. I hope your experience is better than ours. read more

I rarely ever leave a bad review but this is the 2nd time I've been here where I find meals in the fridge that are for sale and are clearly expired (visible mold). I bought a Groupon for $30 worth of food here. I wanted to try it out since I meal prep from time to time and wanted to see if it was worth my while. The gal working behind the counter was friendly and not in your face. I hate it when I'm the only patron and the person behind the counter gives me little breathing room. Didn't catch her name, just know that it was her first time alone managing the store. With my $30, I bought a steak bowl, chicken enchiladas, Swedish meatballs, and veggies. The portions are of course, small because they have to accommodate your diet. My bill was a little over $30, I chose the steamed veggies since my tab was a bit under$30. The veggies were $6. The food IMO tasted kinda bland but I guess it's good for people on diet restrictions. I love the concept behind FitEats, but it's really not for me. I usually meal prep my own meals and find that this is a luxury. It would be great for someone too busy to meal prep themselves and need portion controlled foods. read more

I received a bad meal in a large order. I went to try and return or exchange the meal that had gassed up. It wasn't expired yet, but something was wrong with it. Some of their meals are decent, some are bad.... But the the reason for two stars = if you're counting your calories, which most people eating here are, a lot of their meals are a joke. An example is their chicken taco bowl. Same Large size and calorie count for two bowls on label, yet different containers with one containing nearly twice as much chicken as the other. I also got three of their pancake meals and the label said sugar free (zero calorie) syrup, and two of the packages had sugar-filled syrup and one being sugar free. That added around 150-200 calories on a 200-calorie meal... they just throw nutritional facts and do whatever they want with the food. Doesnt deserve one star, but definitely doesn't deserve 4+! Shame on them for lying on calories... read more

Super disappointed. I was traveling and forgot my meals. A buddy from the area suggest this place. I drive 20 min out of the way to get here. I walk in and am the only person in the building. I was not acknowledged by the employee working. She never even looked up from her phone. After a few min of browsing rhe refrigerator area I got frustrated do to poor labeling and they had a ton of meals to choose from. I walked over and asked the lady behind the counter for a menu. She told me they don't have one for what's in the store but I could look online and see what they have but she said just because it's online don't me we have it here. I told her I was looking for a meal with little to no fat. She responded by telling me she doesn't know about fats in the meals and that I would just have to read each label. It's a bummer that people at work can't even pretend to care about helping there customers. read more

Very average 3-star food until this week and my interaction with Stefani. I had delayed delivery for a week, but the food was accidentally dropped off this morning. I emailed support and let them know of this issue. I was told to repackage the meals and leave them at my front door for pickup. In the next 30 minutes I was told 1) they would be resold at the store, 2) they would be brought back to the kitchen, inspected, and then donated, and 3) they would be put in the trash. I talked to Stefani about my concern that delivered food would be consumed by someone else, having no idea how long it sat without refrigeration or if it was tampered with. Her email stated clearly in the first sentence: "We will actually be taking them back to our kitchen to be inspected our food manager will see if they are suitable for a donation." I stated that the food is obviously cold because it is now sitting in a refrigerated truck. Stefani then started to berate me for questioning this and accused me of twisting her words to make it sound like they resell bad food. She was so loud, my wife could hear her from across the room! If the food was better, maybe I'd get over her attitude and the way I was treated, but for average-at-best food, I'm happy to cancel my subscription. Someone could use some training in customer service. read more

Have ordered from them multiple times and the food is not consistent. Sometimes it's been good and sometimes pretty bad. I also don't think a company advertising "healthy" food should use cellulose or canola oil in their meals. Disappointing because they have the potential to be great.
