The shrimp was perfectly fried. And the sides were really delicious. I will definitely come back.

So 152 reviews and two stars ha?…read more Generally speaking folks, you know that's enough reviews and too few stars to indicate something's up, and I'm not referring to the moon or the stars. I'll cut to the chase and say I went with the five pieces for $10 deal...the chicken.... was fairly good. Not super hot as most including myself would like it, and not super fresh-but not bad either. But I'm a realist, and 10 bucks is $10 bucks right? Especially in a day and age where it's easy to drop $20 plus dollars going through any fast food type of joint including here. What I think sometimes gets this particular location in "hot grease" is the fact that there is a unwritten understanding regarding this Popeyes in particular that you'd better go up to the counter and order your food to have a halfway decent shot of it being fresh, and not having that feeling and taste that your chicken was caught, killed, and cooked roughly two weeks ago. If; on the other hand, you insist on being a "Lazy Daisy" and going through the drive-thru, you are playing at your own risk! I've eaten at this Popeye's over the last decade more times that I care to admit, and I could say without a shadow of a doubt the chicken is almost always fresher and hotter when your either eating in the store itself with a friend or two, and or at least go inside to order it. This particular time here was a decent experience, but it does make me wonder going forward if I'll ever order through the drive-thru again. I have had multiple disasters doing just that. And while I don't think it's just this Popeyes in particular, the notion in fast food seems to be that if the customer got up and took the time to get out of their car they'll probably return and complain that much sooner if we give them old chicken that's been sitting around since forever. On the other hand, if they went through the drive-thru, they'll neither have the time nor energy to put up too much of a fight to return-I myself am definitely guilty of this having accepted a sub-par product and still kept driving from here in the past-and on multiple occasions. Perhaps I got lucky this time. Let's hope the standards at this particular location continue to go up-both for customers who order inside as well as for those of us who have to order from their vehicles.

It started out with no one in line in front of me which was great but it quickly went downhill from there. There was a young male cashier (Kenedy is his name) taking my order and when I ordered the Flying Dutchman, I don't think he even knew what I was talking about and then he talked about the onions and I kept saying Flying Dutchman doesn't have onions. I explained about three times it's two patties and two cheese and then I think he started to order me a double double. I ordered a drink and fries. I am used to them repeating the order back several times which he never did and then I went outside to watch the planes land because this one is right across the street from LAX. I waited quite a while and then I heard them calling numbers that were past my number, so I went inside and picked up my order (no fork with my order either) and I ate a few of my french fries and then I started to eat the burger and I realized it had grilled onions in it. I'm allergic to onions. Any kind of onions I cannot have them. So I went back inside. I let the young man where they call the number know that I had ordered a Flying Dutchman, not supposed to have onions and then I went and sat down, and I thought they would give me my replacement fairly soon, but until I walked back up to the counter about 10 minutes later, that's when I got my replacement. I believe his name was Zona ?? There was no sorry no nothing. I'm pretty disappointed. I was really looking forward to sitting here and watching the planes land and having a nice dinner. I was number 84 and I ordered about 6:30 pm 8/20/2026

I ordered 3 sausage croissant breakfast sandwiches for my family because we were in a rush and hungry. The first thing I noticed was the bread felt stiff and old, but when I looked closer at mine, there was an actual blue/green spot on the croissant bun that looked like mold. I immediately lost my appetite. I even took pictures because I already knew this was going to turn into one of those "that's not what you saw" situations. Instead of just throwing it away, I drove all the way back because if they were serving me bread like this, who knows how many other people got the same thing that morning. I asked for a manager. The woman at the counter (no name tag, no introduction, nothing) first tried handing me ketchup because she wasn't even listening to what I was saying. Then when I showed her the sandwich, she immediately ripped the spot off the bread and said, "Oh, that's just a burnt piece," and literally tried to hand the sandwich back to me like I was still supposed to eat it. That response alone was INSANE to me! I told her I was not comfortable eating that. Instead of apologizing or taking the concern seriously, she immediately got defensive and asked, "What do you want?" with a bad attitude, like I was inconveniencing HER for bringing back potentially moldy food. Mind you, one family member had already eaten theirs quickly because they were hungry, and another had eaten half before we noticed the bread looked old. At that point I asked for two replacements because I genuinely did not trust the food anymore. She acted like I was trying to scam free sandwiches instead of addressing a legitimate food safety concern. Nobody drives back to Jack in the Box to "finesse" sausage croissants. The craziest part is the attempt to remove the moldy spot and pretend the issue just, disappeared! That's not how food safety works. If a customer says something looks moldy, you don't peel it off and hand it back. You replace the food, apologize, and check the rest of the batch. This is my second bad experience at this location. The first was poor service. This time it was a possible health issue combined with rude customer service and zero accountability. I'm posting the photos so people can decide for themselves whether that looked "burnt" or not. Either way, the bread was stale, old, and handled horribly by staff. If you care about freshness, customer service, or basic food safety, I would avoid this location. Do NOT come here and the only safe thing about this place is that I'm never coming back here again.

I ordered a simple Chick-fil-A biscuit breakfast with coffee. I guess they ran out of brewed coffee. they had me pull over to wait. It took at least 10 full minutes for them to bring my order. That's a long time when you're trying to get to work. How could they run out of coffee during the morning rush-hour? Seems like they should be more organized to prevent this. They also could have given me a choice to get coffee or switch my drink. Instead, they just told me to pull over. Anyway, I received my food and it was very good. I tried calling the store multiple times to get a refund or speak with someone about the issue, but all I could reach was an automated voice system. There was no easy way to get assistance or resolve the problem. For a company that prides itself on customer service, this was extremely disappointing. I hope the store improves both its order accuracy and its phone support system so customers can actually get help when something goes wrong.
