Although the calamari was seasoned well and very crispy, I was disappointed to see that they were calamari rings. No tentacles, which is the best part. I have always seen this place in passing. Decided to give it a try. The food is too good. I got the red snapper dinner special. I got 4pc of fish a salad, hush puppies and fries. So good. There isn't much room to eat inside but it's a good grab your food and go type of place. The service was very friendly. The food is cooked fresh so it took about 15 to 20 minutes to make, but it was well worth it. read more

Awful customer service. I arrived at 7:30pm and waited while everyone in the kitchen ignored me standing at the counter. I waited 10 minutes assuming they were preparing the order ahead of mine. After I politely asked to place my order, I was told that they were closed. All posted business hours say 8pm closing and when I referenced this, I was then met with "my English is bad" while everyone else continued to avoid eye contact. Yeah, that don't work for me. Bypass this place if you value your money and your health. I went here to get myself and my family some food to eat and they obviously sold me bad or spoiled fish. The smell stayed in my car for days afterwards. I ordered the red snapper and the shrimp. I was disappointed that when I bit into the shrimp, it wreaked with a pungent odor. It should be looked into about the letter from the Health department because this is not a good establishment to come and eat at. The food here is decent. I've been to this location about 5 times and the staff is always kind. I usually get the combo dinner, 5 fish (I get red snapper), 5 shrimp and 5 oysters (all fried). It comes with fries, hush puppies and a small salad. Again it's ok. The upside is that they accept ebt food and that's great when you can't cook at the moment due to certain circumstances. The potato salad is really good though and I truly recommend. They close pretty early (8pm) but it seems most of the stores in this area/plaza do, in general. It's worth a try to see what you think for sure though. They also sell convenience items like rice and etc on the side like a mini market so that's a thing. read more

Wanted to chime in on the lunch combo, particularly the 4 pc fish combo. I ordered the catfish. Man, I have to tell you. It's a LOT of food. The box was bursting so much you couldn't shut it. A heaping helping of fries, a small appetizer salad, four HUGE pieces of fish, and a lemon for seasoning. Oh, I almost forgot the dinner roll. Add to that several ketchup packs, 2 tartar sauces, one hot sauce, and Italian dressing for the salad. They gave me a free drink for my online order. Everything was hot and super tasty. I was kind of blow away at how great everything was given that the restaurant itself is a bit of an eyesore. But the staff was super courteous and friendly. Being from MS I have high expectations and tbh it was average but for the price it's great. I got the fried fish and shrimp lunch specials I subbed the salad for Cole salad and paid extra. All in all I paid $14 which is great. Everything was fresh and hot and took about 20 minutes.
