There was a short wait, which was completely reasonable considering how busy they were, and once we were seated, our food was fresh, hot, and made to order. I ordered the catfish plate with a side of pancakes, and everything was seasoned like is supposed to be (flavored but not salty). My friend ordered the grits, and those were just as good. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant (and bathroom) was clean. One thing to keep in mind is that seating is limited, so I recommend getting there early. On Sundays, especially after church, the place fills up fast and you can expect a wait. Also, parking is street parking only. Three people could have easily shared that meal. Yes, I brought my leftovers home with me back to Vegas and the leftovers were equally divine. Everything was excellent from the fish, shrimp, Country potatoes, cheese grits, scrambled eggs( which I don't typically enjoy), and that got dayum biscuit. My ggaawwwdd that biscuit.
