I don't know where to start but the soul food Mexican restaurant is a hell no I understand it's probably been there for years but no more the macaroni and cheese taste like they put lemon juice in it but beyond further investigation I believe that she's a spoiled the green beans that I got a hard like they haven't boiled it ain't cook it almost I don't know. The oxtails was not giving don't taste no seasoning the gravy is water powder more powder the rice is they just boil the rice they didn't add no salt pepper to nothing to none of this cornbread hard as a damn Rock. The lady service she helped us was okay A little bit of English. And Ambience of a restaurant is to go place don't sit down and eat the prices is over ridiculous $33 for oxtails rice nasty mac and cheese nasty green beans nasty cornbread and then they had a nerves to charge me $4 for a Snapple and never go back.

Walked in and was greeted by a very stunned man. He was like ..... that was odd. Then I asked for the fried catfish and he said they couldn't do that right now.....was unclear as to WHY it couldn't be done. That was also odd to me.... So I settled for the baked salmon with the Mac & yams. All food is buffet style so you'll be able to see the quality (minus the baked salmon) .... The mac was great. Everything else is lacking in quality and taste for my liking. I paid $27 for the this and I am sad it didn't hit like I wanted it to.

After the LA Rams Football game, we stopped at Gloria's for some yummy food- Catfish dinner with cabbage and rice!

Great soul food at great prices! Delicious tasty soul food! Love the fried catfish! Great location- After 5he SoFi- events, Gloria's is right up the road! We went after the LA Rams Football game! Note-- it's a small place, standing room only, so prepare to take to-go our Tailgate! Anyhow you do it, Enjoy...

The meatloaf today was horrible, nothing but filler, no taste at all. Used to be good, definitely not anymore. Plus parking is awful.

Our service was Miguel and he was awesome , very attentive and friendly . We both got bottomless mimosas and baby they were only $15!! A steal if you asked me . I ordered the blackened salmon, but I got potato's instead of grits . I don't like grits I also got the Mexican roll (with no avocado). Maneeeeee my whole meal was delicious!!! My homegirl enjoyed her food too! Here's her sentiments about our experience! "The restaurant was pretty empty when we first arrived, but it filled up pretty quickly after that. The service was excellent from start to finish. The shrimp roll was honestly the highlight for me, so flavorful and definitely something I'd order again. My steak was just okay, nothing too special, but the grits were FIRE and completely made up for it. We also did the bottomless mimosas with cranberry juice on the side, which was a nice touch. Overall, good vibes, great service, and some standout dishes. I'd definitely come back for the shrimp roll and grits alone." I personally have a few more things I need to try in the menu, so trust and believe I'll be visiting more than a few times! P.S. there's meter street parking. Do with that information as you see fit.

This place is a gem. Of course, I had to start with a margarita served in one of those huge goblet glasses, and wow--it did not disappoint. Strong, smooth, and full of flavor. My wife, who's pregnant, ordered a virgin cocktail, and honestly, it was just as impressive. It was refreshing, well-balanced, and fairly priced (which is rare for non-alcoholic drinks). For food, we went all in. My wife ordered the fish taco meal, which was generous and packed with flavor. The portions were no joke. Our son got the kids burrito, and it was massive--definitely not your average "kids meal." I went with the quesabirria tacos from the appetizer menu, and they were perfect for my appetite. Rich, flavorful, and satisfying without being too heavy. The ambiance really stood out. It strikes a great balance between authentic Mexican culture and a modern, clean dining experience. It's the kind of place that feels lively and welcoming without being overwhelming--perfect for a casual night out or even a small celebration. Service was top-tier. The staff was attentive without hovering, quick with recommendations, and made sure we were taken care of from start to finish. You can tell they genuinely care about the customer experience, which goes a long way. Parking is a bit limited right in front, but there's plenty of street parking and nearby lots, so it's manageable. Bonus: right next door is Drobe Stogie Cigar Lounge, which is a great spot to check out if you enjoy cigars. It's the perfect way to wind down after a solid meal. Overall, the pricing is very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes, and this is easily becoming one of our go-to spots for nights out. Highly recommend.

I opted to get the California burrito with the rotisserie chicken as the protein choice. The young lady taking the order was helpful in describing the rotisserie and chipotle chicken offered. Burrito and fountain drink came out to about $20. I chose to sit at a little bar top table across the side walk, the little place stayed busy. They do have a sign that says no public restrooms, somehow people still miss it. And there's one doorway between the patio seating and interior which seems to attract people oblivious to the fact the server is coming in and out with orders. Usually after getting in the way 3-4 times they have an epiphany. When the burrito came out on a plate with some chips I was honestly underwhelmed by the size/form factor. Good weight, but not the typical tight rolled cigar. All doubts were put to rest at first bite. The chicken is so juicy and flavorful, the guacamole is even throughout and the chicken is plentiful. Absolutely no bad bites. Definitely coming back here again, easy stop when coming to LAX and worth the time for the detour.

I even used their catering for a party of 50 people for my 7‑year‑old, and everything back then was excellent. My recent visit to the Manchester location was a completely different experience. I ordered the Chicken and Steak Fajita and waited 39 minutes for my food. During that time, none of the tables were cleaned, trash was left out, and the entire dining area had an unpleasant smell that made it impossible to eat inside. I ended up taking my food to my car. The food quality has declined dramatically. The fajita was almost entirely onions and green peppers, with barely any chicken and only three tiny pieces of steak that were extremely tough, as if they were old and reheated. The Mexican rice was undercooked, the beans tasted like they came straight from a can, and even the nachos had that same canned flavor. They used to serve excellent fresh salsa, but now it tastes like processed canned salsa as well. Based on this experience, I will not be returning, and I cannot recommend this place anymore. The positive reviews reflect how the restaurant used to be, not how it is now. For me, this was a zero‑star visit.
