I used to love the chicken, but have not been back in months. I am elderly with osteoarthritis. My experience has been I get a notification that my order is ready, but get there and it is not. That's okay. I like hot food. The problem is there is usually nowhere to sit, and standing with bone one bone knee pain Is excruciating. So, for the first time ever I called to ask if my order is ready, and was rudely yelled at. A woman said, "if everybody is calling to ask if they food is ready, how am I suppose to get the orders out? I mean, y'all keep calling then get mad when your food's not ready." I remained quiet. She finally said, "yes, your order is ready." I said "thank you" and hung up. Since I had already paid for my chicken, I headed over to get it. When I got there I walked up to the window and asked, "Was that you who answered the phone?" The older woman said, "yes." I walked in and a regular customer greeted me ; Chef KJ is such a warm soul, and you can tell it's a fun time working in her kitchen by the way she interacts with the rest of the cooks - They cook your food once you place your order (if ordering at the counter), so it's going to be fresh, and won't get all sad and cold on your drive back home. Took about 15 mins for my food to come out - Portion sizes absolutely match the prices; I had to do a two-handed bag carry back to the car - I had to move my bag of food to an unreachable spot in my car so I wouldn't be tempted to eat all the fries on my way home. Their are fries made with *real* potatoes, and some of them still had the peel on Also, I actually didn't even need to move the bag away from me in the car because there was absolutely no way I would have been able to eat all the fries on my drive home!
