The salmon is delectable.... moist, perfectly grilled and seasoned with the skin charred crisp on bottom, but the top just lightly grilled so that it's tender. The portion on the plate is huge. I ate it all, but it seemed like 2 servings. I like that brown rice is optional over white rice and French fries. If you don't want grains, you can pay an extra buck for grilled vegetables, but you do get a hefty serving of coleslaw vegetables anyway. I didn't feel like I was lacking veggies with the coleslaw (which they interestingly put raisins in). After dropping off a friend at the Burbank Airport, we decided to try one of the fast food places close by. I spotted Fish Dish. We walked in and staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I'm allergic to pepper, Cheyenne, paprika, and other spices. I asked the cashier, who asked the cook, they were knowledgeable in their ingredients and assured me there wasn't any of the spices in the batter . I usually get a huge sigh and an attitude when asking. They (all 4 employees) were helpful in explaining the ingredients and letting us know what exactly is used. I call that a #WIN Wait wasn't long, there were quite a few people in the diner area, we ate outside. (Seating is plentiful) Hubby ordered the Shrimp and Chips, I ordered the battered Cod (fish and chips) Growing up in a Scottish household I was raised on GOOD fish and chips, and this my friends, was a total blast from the past as if my granny had made them. Another #WIN We split our order in half, Hubby gave me some of his Shrimp and I gave him my Cod. I wasn't disappointed in either dish. We'll defiantly will be back. This restaurant is a fast-food style joint where you order at the cashier, get a table number, seat yourself, and get your food brought to you. This is my 3rd time eating here. The foods not bad, pretty good for what you expect from fast seafood. But... This location deserves 3 stars because the employees were unwelcoming. We were left standing at the register until a girl reluctantly walked up to take our order. When I got my food, I thanked her then asked for a side of chipotle sauce and what other kind of sauces they had, since there was a whole bunch of them in front of her at the pick up window. I figured I might like one of the others that weren't at the salsa bar. She was reluctant to give me my extra side of chipotle sauce and wouldn't tell me what else they had and was pretty rude to me. Their Alaskan salmon with garlic butter is so good!! If you're looking for a big semi healthy lunch, look no further. My plate came with the option of white or brown rice, coleslaw and a piece of bread. For almost $15 a plate I would have liked to see veggies included too but the salmon was so juicy and delicious that by the time you finish you're so full that it doesn't matter if you have veggies or coleslaw. They also have bunch of sauces on the side that you can get yourself. My favorite was the tartar sauce. Seating is similar to any fast food restaurant. Once again I find myself on a diet and looking for some protein.. fish was definitely on my tummy craving but wasn't sure where to go without having to drive to far from home or spend too much. I yelped and found this location which I've driven by several times ( to go to McDees) but not to enjoy the Dining of Fish Dish. as I entered there was a black chalk menu with all the types of fish one was grilled the other fried and all the other extras of shrimp, etc. I decided to get the mahi mahi over brown rice- garlic butter on the side to go.. Included in this meal is also coleslaw with raisins which I actually enjoyed and garlic bread which I did not have but was told was good and not garlic over powering. The cashier at the counter was very patient with me when I explained I've never been here before and wasn't sure what to order, he even gave me some suggestions and was very polite.. I paid and was given a number receipt.... The one thing I did not like was I wasn't told where to pick up my to go plate, it wasn't till I heard my number being called from the back that my order was ready. First time visit was pretty impressive. Not what I had pictured in my head at all. This is a great option for healthy eating in a fresh fast food setting. I ordered clam chowder and a fried fish taco. My husband ordered teriyaki chicken, rice and veggies. My fish was undercooked, and the tortilla was cold. I'm not sure if this is the way they serve it, So if you like your tortilla warm, be sure to ask them. So I wasn't happy with the taco but it looked really good and the cabbage and chipotle sauce had great flavor, So I returned my taco And asked if they could make me another. They had no problem replacing it. The second taco was much better. The fish was cooked all the way through. They warmed the tortilla (however I still didn't like the extra thick tortilla. Maybe deep fried or crunchy would be better for me) but the cabbage was crisp and plenty of sauce, mmmmmmmmmm. My clam chowder was really good! I will be back for another bowl of that! One problem more was mine and my husband's dinner didn't come out together. So he just sat there while I ate. That's just bad timing and inexperience. That needs to be addressed. My husband was a little disappointed in his dish. The chicken was dry, but did taste nice. The rice tasted as if they added two separate pots of rice together. (One cooked and one undercooked) So that was not the greatest. There was a ton of mixed veggies (lots of cauliflower, broccoli and carrots) I thought the veggies were the best part of his plate. So much I would come back just for them. (And that grilled zucchini in the menu!) But like I always say, if you go to a fish place, eat fish. If you go to a burger place, eat burgers. He hasn't bought into that theory yet. Even though this is not the only place he's been disappointed with his dish at a new place. They have a small salsa bar with some flavorful options. A couple different pepper hot sauces. The menu carried items like pasta, rice, burritos, with various fish, chicken (not sure about red meat). The fish and chips looked amazing. So did the burrito. I finally decided to give this place a try and went around 1 and it was very crowded. There is not much seating inside but they have outdoor seating as well. I ordered the chicken pasta with the garlic cream sauce and they bring you lean in on the side to squeeze on top. The sauce is also on the side so you can pour as much as you'd like. It comes with garlic bread and the pasta itself is a huge portion. I would've given them 5 stars but my chicken was definitely not cooked right so I pushed it all aside and ate the pasta alone. My Mom and I visited here for Lunch and we both ordered the Salmon Bowl and a side of sweet potato fries. I ordered it without the chipotle sauce and opted for ranch instead. There was a time I didn't trust you, but you have earned back my trust (and my heart) tenfold. This location on Hollywood Way, by the Bob Hope airport, is amazing. Friendly staff, prompt service, delicious food. Due to the helpful attitude of the recent Fish Dish employees I've gotten to speak with, I feel like I'm really getting the chance to get my order exactly how I like it, with sides I'll really enjoy. The cajun seared ahi tune keeps me coming back for more. It's AMAZING. I get mine medium rare. Too late to take a picture. I started demolishing this amazing meal the moment I got home. So I've been sitting here since 6 pm, waiting for a kids meal and appetizer calamari. At 645 pm I decided to call because the crowd had finally died. It was such a crowded area, that I had to park two stores over to get my food. Or so I had hoped. In notes I explained that I was in the grey truck in front of Starbucks. That would signify I am there, right? In the parking spot someone says where they are located? How else would I have a place to name? When I called a bitchy girl answered and gave me her rude rude. When people complain about a rude server, I'd bet money they're referring to this b. I asked about my food. She said it was ready. Like nothing. Fried food takes 8 mins to cook in the oil tops. Then they let it die under a heat lamp til it's rubber and they get mad that I didn't want cold old food. Well, bring it to my car like you advertised. I don't get it. When I asked her to remake it she said "well in the future you need to call when you get here." I told her there wouldn't be a future time. I wouldn't be coming back. It's now 7:15 and I called and asked for a manager. "There's no manager here" "uhm? Okay, so who locks up at night?" The girl said "The cooks" so then I asked to speak to them. I swear this chick can't follow instructions for sh%* because she gave the phone to someone else and my food never got made. I asked the girl who took over the call what was going on. She insisted I didn't want my food. No. I didn't want old food. I asked why she (the previous chick) didn't let me speak to the cook, "who had the keys" and the second chick said they don't speak English. Assume all u want, I'm half Mexican. When I say let me speak to someone, you don't use your tiny speck of a brain to make a judgement call. Because guess what? You did and you were wrong every time. Customer service isn't for these people. I asked when the manager/owner of the company would be in. "Uhhh we can't give that information out here" give me a break. Like it's some top secret thing. I swear this place is the worst. Food is a modest 5/10. But it was here and I was a hungry. I don't eat sandwiches (yuk) so My options are quite limited here. I guess after today they're for me they're going to be even more limited. These people suck. They need to quit their day jobs for real. Rude staff! To substitute fries for zucchini they charge $1.75 and you get 2 slices of zucchini, so not even half a zucchini. A full zucchini is $1.00. So why would I pay an up charge for half a zucchini for the price that you pay for 2 full, plus its sub meaning substituting a side that was already calculated into the full price I also got the side of sautéed vegetables and they were definitely the steamed vegetables read more

Holy crap this food is tasty and I am THRILLED there is a location closer to where I live because I definitely see myself frequenting this place!! But my husband doesn't want fish all that often but he was craving it today so... I agreed and MAN I AM GLAD I DID! So stupid good! My salmon plate (with grilled asparagus and a side salad as well as avocado) was so SCRUMPTIOUS, if there wasn't a location closer to where I live, I would DEFINITELY make the trek up to Burbank for this meal!! My husband LOVED his Mahi tacos, even though he hates corn tortillas... He forgot to ask for flour tortillas... He also got the rice and French fries and didn't complain about those either.
