We've needed a place like this for a while. The concept is so simple yet it alludes us, beer and seafood... yeah. I was looking for a michelada when I came across this place on Yelp. Let's just say I had mixed drinks the night before and needed something for my cruda! My bloodshot eyes got big when we drove up and saw the cartoon shrimp with a michelada in his hand.... "we've arrived." The ceviche, aguachiles, peel and eat shrimp, are so good! We also ordered Tostilocos Marineros, cause I've never seen that before. My only complaint is that they didn't carry Carta Blanca. And the menu is a little confusing, go by the take out menu instead.

Service was excellent, the place is kept very clean, there is seating outside also, they have a variety of botanas, ie; mexican style cocktail shrimp or campechana, seafood tostadas, tacos, caldos, the food was so delicious definitely fresh. When placing the order for aguachile the young man cashier suggested the regular one verses the Ensenada style one- that is super spicy unless you like spicy hot, the regular one in salsa verde-green salsa was spicy hot but not too much, that came along with crackers and tostadas, the lady that was preparing the dishes asked if we would like to try the nopal style chips, those were definitely good, the shrimp empanadas were crispy outside and full of flavors inside, the shrimp tacos were very crunchy and delicious, that includes side fresh salad and white rice, the campechana was full of flavorful included shrimp, oyster, abulon ,crunchy cucumbers, onions, will definitely be back especially if you are in the mood for fresh seafood and don't have time to make it, prices are resonable, they only accept cash.

I came to the day of the grand opening on Saturday at 4pm. I ordered a fish taco plate it came with salad and rice . I ordered to drink there fresh nopal with pineapple drink . The drink was awful to me so I had to spice it up with my own shot . The fish taco just had the fish so it was really plan and greasy . My fiancé ordered a mix cocktail and a Michelada . They gave him the Michelada and it didn't look like there one on there ad . It taste to waterly . The cocktail sucked they put a few shrimp and the oyster or octopus they put in there was raw . My hubby stomach hurted all night .

Oysters are fresh and reasonably priced! Big portions and well seasoned! It's a hole in the wall kind of place and I'm glad i gave it a try today for the first time! Must try!

Hubby and i we're craving micheladas n mariscos for a Sunday funday:) my husband works a block away from this place and has been wanting to give it a try. So we did and I'm happy we did! It's a little hole in the wall restaurant only had a few seats. Thank god it wasn't busy when we got there. We were able to seat down right away the waitress attended us quickly! She brought us chips and salsa handed us a menu. We both had a Michelada and aguachiles we also tried the camarones al mojo de ajo! We enjoy every sip and bit! I'm glad we gave this place a try. Also thank you for the wonder welcoming and fast service.

Agua chiles in salsa negra! Very spicy but packed with flavor!!! So good!

Aguachiles in salsa negra is outstanding but very spicy. The salsa negra is spicy but packed with flavor! I also loved the micheladas with camarones. The place is clean and the service is really good. Very friendly staff. This is definitely one of my new favorite spots for mariscos.

I thought nothing of it as I've been to many other type of restaurants here in LA. All restaurants are the same, blah blah. I was completely blown away by the aguachile and I knew I needed to find something similar here. I loved it at Cabo because, the shrimp was 'raw' marinated with lime but still 'raw' I tried Vallarta and it was a huge disappointment. One day doom scrolling on Yelp and I found this place. Couldn't wait, had to give it a try and I nearly cried. Whenever food tastes amazing, I always clap because I'm applauding the chef. I'm applauding the food and I couldn't clap this time because I didn't want to put down the food. I got the medium sized aguachile, a pescado taco and a camaron taco. The flavor in the shrimp taco was unbelievable. The batter was so soft yet, crispy and the cabbage with the dressing was spot on! Next time, I'm definitely ordering 2 of each. The fish taco was super flaky, seasoned. Amazing. The aguachile, I regret getting the medium, I should've went all the way to large. Extra large if I could. Don't get me wrong, the portions are huge. I'm by myself and I made the aguachile last for 3 days. I would've eaten it in one sitting but, I have jaw issues and I couldn't continue. The tostadas they provided was amazing. I'm said there was no avocado but, luckily I had some at home. Even tho the shrimp was raw, it was juicy and delicious. The service was amazing as well. Workers inside the truck were so nice, offered a chair under a tree because it was sprinkling lightly lol. Anyways, I'm gonna go back this week and next week cause I can't stop thinking about it. Which she handled awesomely, she refilled our drinks and even provided me a lighter and knife for the cake we brought. She was very friendly and we were glad to have her as our server. Now on to the food, they have a wonderful selection here, you got all types of chicken, im talking about orange, teriyaki, and bbq. Heck they got their own boba AND coffee self serve stations, it doesnt get better than that. And a chocolate fountain to boot! I tried the fruit the watermelon and cantaloupe wasn't sweet, however, the honeydew was really yummy. They have a boba drink station I tried the passion tea it was good. My boyfriend tried their desserts he liked the three layer mouse cake. I wasn't aware the Restaurant in LA charge a 10% service fee when I saw it on the bill I immediately was going to question it however, I googled first and basically the restaurants have to post it before charging you. When we walked in we didn't notice the signs on the wall if you don't pay attention you will miss the notice as you walk in. The 10% is to help the owner offset gratuity and healthcare for the employees so you have no choice but to pay it even if you didn't see the posting on the wall. They also have a sign to say a tip is not required because of the service fee.

Because of that great experience, we decided to go back after a long time, this time on a Sunday. When we walked in, we immediately noticed a big difference . There were a lot of empty tables. We ordered shrimp cocktails (cócteles de camarón) and sat down. Unfortunately, this time the food was not good at all. The juice in the shrimp cocktail was extremely salty,so salty that I couldn't eat it. I went back to the counter and explained the issue. The girl helping us was very nice and explained that they cure the shrimp with salt since it's not cooked. She offered to remake it, which they did, and I appreciated the effort. However, even the remake just didn't taste good to me. I like my seafood to taste fresh, with a natural seafood flavor not overly salty or loaded with condiments. This experience made me wonder if something has changed at the restaurant, especially since it was so empty compared to our first visit. The staff was friendly and did try to make it right, which I appreciate, but overall this visit was disappointing. Since it's also out of our way and we only stopped because we happened to be in the area, I don't think we'll be coming back. It's unfortunate because our first experience was so much better. The ambiance was pleasant. They had a couple of TVs playing football, music in the background, and the place was clean but the food just didn't live up to our previous experience.

They seriously have raised their prices since the last time I was there The deep fried cod plate that comes with fries, coleslaw and a piece of garlic bread is now $18.99, over $20 with tax, and that was with no drink, just the fried cod plate. Making it worse, the fish pieces were noticeably smaller than they were last time I was there. Even worse, there was literally no seasoning, not even a speck of salt, anywhere on the fish or the fries. Everything was bland and flavorless. I seem to remember them seasoning the fries before, but apparently spices are too expensive these days for Fish Dish. Even the coleslaw was horrible. It tasted like cabbage soaked in milk with no spices at all. This was easily the worst fish and chips I have ever had in my life and that is saying something, especially if you read my review of H. Salt Fish and Chips. I didn't think anything would be worse than that, but here we are. And for $20 no less. I will literally never go back here again, there are much better and cheaper options for much better fish. FYI, the only reason I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 is that the counter staff was very nice and place was very clean.
