Wow! I don't usually order coffee out because I'm pretty particular about good coffee, even the cups! The table had cups and glasses already set up. A milk bottle of great water was left on our table after the table was served. I was intrigued by the great white cup so I ordered coffee. It was promptly filled and a metal thermos of coffee was left ....and it was the best coffee I have ever had at a restaurant. Service was great and my kale salad was terrific. read more

We were excited to come have breakfast around 11:30 this morning only to have the meal spoiled by terrible service. We were sat promptly by a very positive hostess - she was fantastic and alert. it took enough time for our table of three to read through the entire menu plus an additional few minutes before we were greeted. the waitress came with two mugs (mind you table of three) and a quarter filled carafe of coffee. This was enough for two people to have a half cup each. the third ordered a hot water we never saw. We asked for coffee creamer before our server zipped off and didnt come back. Our food was served and we are still waiting for creamer for our now cold half cup of coffee. And still no hot water. we ask for creamer again and the server zippped away again before we could complete our sentence to ask for salt, pepper, ketchup and water for the third person with still without a drink. a new server comes by with the last meal and we can see our server who we asked for the creamer on the other side of the restaurant cleaning tables!!! we ask AGAIN - can we please have coffee creamer -- our half cups of coffee are cold now and no one offers to refill the carafe. We finally get creamer and still no salt, pepper or water. after that, we didnt get another glance until our new server dropped off the bill, not asking if we needed anything else. (which we did) Absolutely horrible experience. I never write reviews but I would have rather had the stale bowl of cereal then go there again. and side note -- we were a table of restaurant owners and servers -- we know our server was in a rush to get cut so she focused on getting her side work done and handed us off to another person. But in the midst of that switch, we were totally abandoned. Paid our bill in full but last time you will see any of us there again. read more

Came in today with my friend and girlfriend. There was a short wait which wasn't the issue here. The issue was with the waitress and my meal. The waitress seemed really pressed the whole time she served us. I asked if they had a mocha coffee and she seemed annoyed by my question and bluntly told me no which is where it began. Than unfortunately I couldn't figure out what to order which pissed her off more (which is my fault but still no need to be that mad). On top of that, my friend finished his orange juice pretty fast and didn't get a refill for probably about 15-20 minutes. I finally decided to order their dish called the "Tri-Fecta". This dish came with 2 eggs, a waffle, and a side of meat which I chose sausage link as my meat. I was completely baffled by the fact that on my plate I got the smallest portion of egg ever and I got a single sausage link. A singular tiny piece of sausage. Imagine ordering a $11.49 dish and getting the smallest sausage ever. Should have went to iHop! read more

My son invited me to breakfast here this morning. I was impressed walking in the door. Great atmosphere. Friendly waitstaff. Great selection on the menu. Service was prompt. When you first walk in you are greeted by one of the staff and then you are seated. After being seated, you wait and wait. There are waitress's everywhere and it's not even busy and we are never acknowledged. It's frustrating because there seems to be plenty of staff. This has happened on numerous occasions. We were just there yesterday and couldn't understand the lack of courtesy to acknowledge and to say we will be right with you! So, after waiting a good 20 minutes we walked out! Also, the prior time we were there we left a cash tip for the waitress and while checking out in line had noticed a male cleaning the table and pocketed the tip. The waitress walked by us while still standing by the register and we mentioned the tip and she said she didn't get it. We then said the man had picked it up and she said he has done that before. Realizing the unscrupulous action, I went into the kitchen and confronted the man and he then took the money out of his pocket and gave it to the waitress. My wife and I ate here for the first time this morning. I ordered the eggs Benedict she ordered the pancakes. The eggs Benedict were served cold on a mushy English muffin. The salad encroaching on the plate was gigantic and totally not eaten. If you're looking for normal eggs and bacon this is not the place to go. My wife and I heard good things about this place so we decided to go and try it. The hosts at the front of the house were welcoming once we got to our table we waited a few minutes too long before a server who was a male server came to greet and get us coffee and Oj. After that we were sitting for 10 minutes and could see the server walking around, I finished my OJ and he did not even came to the table to check if I wanted another one. Now we did say there was a third person coming but the server did not communicate with if we were waiting for that person to arrive or if we were ready to order. At the end the only impression was that it was a horrible customer service. read more

My husband and I went here today (5-4-2019) for breakfast. We did not wait long to be seated. Our experience is as follows: the servers were wonderful and the milk jug of cold water was a big plus. However, the table was sticky to the touch as it had not been properly cleaned. The food was good, but my eggs Benedict were sorely lacking hollandaise sauce. The eggs were cooked perfectly, but with the small amount of hollandaise sauce it was like eating a poached egg. The ham was fabulous - probably the best part of the meal. I requested a small amount of the potatoes, but almost the entire plate was filled with potatoes - it was a waste of food. Overall, we did not find anything special about the restaurant that would make us want to return. read more

Let me start by saying I never write reviews for anything, however, I am compelled to do so today. Went in at around noon for breakfast. Only waited about ten minutes. I heard the food was fresh and natural. I had a traditional breakfast that came in a somewhat timely manner. I ordered eggs sunny side up with toast. One of the egg yolks came broken. The toast was so cold the butter they applied had not even melted. Anyone who orders eggs this way knows the toast and the sunny side eggs go hand in hand. I never send back food but did so on this occasion. The waitress replaced the eggs first and the toast later. The toast was hardly toasted and more like bread than toast. By then the sausage and potatoes were cold. Considering the prices this was not even close to a good experience and will have breakfast at IHOP from now on. I am on a whole food diet and they were easily able to accommodate me. Their food is fresh and way above the cut line for quality. If your trying to eat healthy, try their avocado omelet it was sensational and they use a juicer for fresh each morning. Wow who does that ? Excellent read more

I know it is Mother's Day but my 6 year old son and I waited 1:15 min on site and there were people put ahead of us that aren't here. The app started with 45 parties ahead of us and it showed 6 parties still ahead of us that weren't hear. I asked about it and the app isn't correct as 15 parties didn't even show up but made us wait. I'm all for technology but if you put a name on the list you should have to personally check in within 10-15 min of getting put on the list. We have not eaten yet and have been here since 10:55 and it is 12:38. I hope the food is good. I upped the 3 stars to 4 after we ate. Update: left at 1:20 but the food was actually very good. The waitress wasn't very attentive, but since they put water pitcher and a coffee pot on the table I guess they figure they don't need to ask how everything is. As far as the app goes if you have it which requires me to be an active participant on Yelp I won't get any information on my place in line and I can't call ahead so I don't have to wait in line. The 4 older ladies next to me did not have text on there flip phones so they could not take advantage of the yelp app. read more

Went for lunch, nice decor, hostess very pleasant. After our lunch arrived, down the tubes it went. I ordered half a Monte Cristo sandwich and a salad, intending to take salad home for later. Husband enjoyed his tomato basil soup and roast beef with havarti sandwich. At first I thought my sandwich was toasted, but no, just dried out bread. I took the crust off and took a couple more bites, pulling the rock-like crust off. I should have sent it back, but didn't. Then I picked up the plate to slide my salad into a takeout box and that's when I noticed the plate was very sticky on the top and bottom! I smelled my fingers and it smelled like syrup! To say I was annoyed was an understatement. I called the manager over and told him what was going on and he was quite apologetic and said he would talk to the dishwasher! He did comp our lunch, but that did not make me feel any better with all the hepatitis going around! I still don't understand how a dirty plate can end up being reused in a supposedly "nice" restaurant! The blackberry tea was very good, but the waiter was very busy and never offered a refill. There are too many other nice restaurants in the area to experience. It will be a long time before I go back to First Watch! My advice is make sure you are served on a clean plate before you start eating! read more
