My fiancée and I came here for breakfast on a weekend getaway, and it was the PERFECT way to start our day. We got there at about 11:30 on a Saturday morning and there was about a 20 minute wait - not bad at all. Once seated, we were brought water and the cutest bread basket, blueberry muffins!! My fiancée ordered the chocolate chip pancake big breakfast and I got the same, with lemon blueberry pancakes. These pancakes were DOUSED with berries, and the lemon shone through. The eggs were great and the bacon was perfectly crispy. The atmosphere in this place is SO beachside shabby chic. It's all bright wood, local art, and driftwood pieces. Our server was so sweet and attentive and kept our drinks full for the full meal. Though the restaurant was full, we didn't feel pressured at all to eat quickly and leave. One note for parents - the tables are glass topped and they do not allow clip-on high chairs. Absolutely not a negative, just felt it was important information to share. And a more general note: there's no specific parking for this restaurant. Keep an eye out for street parking and non-permit lots as you're getting closer. It's a very walkable neighborhood. This is right on the strip and is a popular location for breakfast. First, expect a wait time for a table. They told me 35 minutes but it ended up being more like 20 minutes. Parking is free on the street if you can find a space. Service was good and even though they were super busy, everything was as expected. I really liked the booths and the decor. It was clean, bright, and had a beach vibe. I would eat here again for sure. The omelet was good but nothing special. The egg was a bit overcooked. Great mom and pop brunch/breakfast spot on the main strip of vero beach. They don't take reservations, but only waited about 30 minutes for a party of 11. Split the blackened chicken sandwich and breakfast sandwich. Both were delicious and came with a side. We also sampled the lemon pancakes which were very yummy. What an absolute gem of a find!! I really love a good quiche and this place did not disappoint. The meat lover's quiche with sausage, ham, bacon and cheddar was hearty yet flavorful. It's a good size portion and I was unable to finish it. The crust is so flaky and cooked to absolute perfection. The cheesy grits were okay, not my fave but still good. I've been going to the Lemon Tree since we moved here. At that time they were serving dinner too. We generally go there for breakfast now. The cheese omelets are fabulous and the fresh quiche is also very good. They start you off with two little muffins while you wait for your order. Husband had simple bacon and eggs for $18.00. Although he enjoyed it, we found it to be very overpriced. So if value for your money is not a concern try it. I was in the area for work. A colleague and I stoped by for brunch. It was a bit of a wait but that wasn't a surprise. They are only open for breast and lunch. We have visited lemon tree several times. My opinion is the prices and service used to be better. The food is consistent. I would say the food is just OK. Pancakes today were quite tough and difficult to cut. Poached eggs were very runny without the typical structure. Service is OK. We were missing utensils even until after being served and missing a few food items we later reminded them of. We went back on Tuesday morning and the service and food was terrible.the waitress was very slow and as a result the food was not hot. We had to ask for more coffee two times. The management needs to get all good waitresses and they also need to make sure that the food is consistent and hot. Not at all surprised that this place has so many great reviews. This little restaurant is fantastic for breakfast. My wife and I were on vacation and found this gem. So good that we went twice for breakfast!! While the oatmeal bowl is great (I'm an oatmeal fanboy), the acai bowl is phenomenal!! Lots of fruits atop an acai-sort-of-sherbet. We made the mistake on our first visit of getting the acai bowl as a side to split between us. It's so big though!!! It's a meal in itself. The waitstaff was wonderful ... both times. We're been visiting Vero Beach for years and always eyed this place, but since we typically stay at the Disney resort hadn't made it there yet. Well this trip we are at the Kimpton, so since it was a short walk, we gave it a try. Still busy on a Monday morning, but we were able to sit outside with no wait. So, I ordered the home made corned beef hash (they do not have hash browns) and poached eggs with grits. They were so very delicious with the toast. My husband ordered two eggs over medium (cooked way too fast, so the yolks and edges were crispy), grits, sausage patties and toast. We both enjoyed our breakfast, me, more than him.
