I've been coming here for awhile now and never had any issues myself but after what I witnessed today all that will change. A host was verbally abused by a customer when the host was at the register checking out other customers, and I saw that management was watching and stood by doing nothing to deescalate the situation. Once it got overly heated and the customer got into the hosts face followed by fingers in his face, they were separated and management continued to allow service to him. The host was as professional as he could be, which I commend him for. I was very disappointed to see how it was handled by the manager. Won't be coming back to this location knowing that hostile/abusive customers are being served here. Makes me think that everything in the restaurant is managed poorly. read more

What shitty service, I joined the waitlist and it said 10 minutes. I talked to the girl with the cast on her arm- and she said you have 1 person ahead of you - so we waited 35 minutes and then she sat 4 couples ahead of us . Then she said oh yea your next - I asked her about the 4 couples she sat before us and she's didn't answer. This location is what my 5 stars are for. Of course this is cypress and if you come in the weekend you will be waiting. I'm blessed to not have to work and so I go around reviewing places to eat. Lol. But for real every quarter of the year you have a special menu made particularly for that season. And they never disappoint! First time to this new location. Took two of my friends with me it was their first time eating at Fresh Start. Place is nice and clean. However, there was an extremely long wait time. Our waitresse's name was Shelly and she was very friendly and helpful. We waited so long for our table, Shelly brought us a muffin while we waited. Free coffee and infused water while you wait to be seated. Our total visit was an hour and 13 minutes, restaurant was very crowded due to it being a new restaurant in this city. Met my veteran son for breakfast today. Had a great experience as we always do at this location. Our server was friendly, industrious and made sure we were always topped off with our coffee-a win in my book. I had the biscuits and gravy and they were delicious-nicely seasoned and yummy. My son had the seasonal menu item of short ribs and poutine and that was fantastic-the one bite he let me try.....we always enjoy our food and experience at this First Watch location! read more

We've been going to the first watch in Humble and love it and thought we'd get a similar experience. Boy were we wrong. Coffee was brought out ice cold, but they did remedy. Then after waiting 45 minutes and seeing others who came in after us Get their food, we asked our waitress the status of our order. She had yet to check on us since getting us coffee 45 minutes earlier. We were told our order is still going to take 15 more minutes. Clearly she had never put in our order as it was nothing complicated. We walked out after letting them know to cancel our order.
