We just went to first watch for brunch on Sunday, waited over an hour finally got our food, not all of it came we had to wait for the for the rest and none of it was hot when it was delivered it was barely warm! Terrible service today kitchen staff obviously was lacking they had to serve our ice tea in a Styrofoam cup they had no more glasses said they ran out because not enough people to wash dishes! None of this is OK I've been to many together locations and never ever had such a horrible experience if they don't fix the situation quickly we will not be back! read more

We resevered a table before hand and we able to be seated as soon as we walks in. Our server was so sweet! I can't remember his name, but he was super attentive and our food came out quick and delicious! Everyone had such a sweet, positive attitude and was very helpful. If you can't go in person skip this place! Don't order food to go! They mess it up EVERY.SINGLE.TIME! We have try to order to go meals due to Covid and our family having a medically compromised child. We've tried to order from First Watch a few times as we enjoyed going before Covid. Sadly every time we do they mess up the order and several items are always missing! Today we thought we would try again and ordered 2 family meals to go....Everything is nicely packaged & the bags are SEALED. We had to wait well past our scheduled pick up time. Picked up the SEALED Bags AND AGAIN when we arrived home we didn't get 1/2 our order. 1/2! We were missing 2 family fruit orders, 2 family potato orders, and 1 family bacon order. We called the said come back we will get the missing items ready. We went the 40+ Round trip back and had to wait again, meanwhile the 1/2 we did get was getting cold. When we picked up the replacement bags we counted the items in the sealed bags and assumed they corrected the error sadly when we arrived hom, they still were wrong. They gave us two more toast but never gave us one fruit order and one potatoes order...waste of time and money....Again. After this, They lost our to go business indefinitely. My family of 5 visited the Springhill, TN location while in town for a family wedding. We had recently eaten at a First Watch in Springfield, MO that was awesome so we knew this would be a great place for brunch. We were sadly disappointed. We waited an hour to be seated then another 20 mins to have our drink order taken and that was after we asked where our waiter was. It took another 30mins for our food to come out and one order was wrong and the eggs and ham were over cooked. We chose not to have it replaced to avoid being there any longer. I'm usually a fan of First Watch but our waitress was inattentive, my eggs were over cooked, my potatoes were undercooked, and my Eggs Benedict was drowned in lemon which was very over powering. The kale tonic was good and the millionaires bacon was also good. When we went to pay, the person checking us out left as we were paying without a word to go do something else. We finished paying and took our own receipt. Maybe it was just an off day, but it definitely was not worth the $40 our food cost. read more

I have been to this joint twice now. It is definitely a busy spot. Usually 45 minute wait. They are quick to get to your table to get drink orders.the morning drinks are amazing. Giving you a hang over cure. Before breakfast time. Food is always very fresh and good. Their iced coffees wake the soul! I have nothing bad to really say about it. The server ive gotten twice is not very attentive for refills. He seemed to be more worried about talking to women (jesse i believe.) I will be back for the great food and drinks! After waiting an hour to be seated, we didn't get a server for another 15 minutes, and once we did, they were the most unattentive and sluggish we've ever had. Three out of four meals were delivered to the table and again we had to wait another 5 minutes to get the server's attention so they could bring out the last plate. Two of us ordered hash and what we got was a plateful of potatoes with a tiny bit of cheese and sausage. One of us ordered a Belgium waffle but the server didn't bring any syrup. We waited for them to return until the dish went cold and then finally just asked someone else. The only positive review I can share is the eggs were perfect. Let me say I love First Watch as a brand. But this one is going through issues. Brand new, for one thing. Fighting the Covid-19 problem of staffing, no doubt too. Long waits, so I've sat at the bar twice. Both times had problems with efficient service. The gal who was new and really slow & forgetful service a month ago was training someone this time. Still struggling a bit, but improved. First time my coffee was watery (IYKYK) and yuck. They comped me. () This time, food was cold and my friend's order was wrong. We had to wait to get silverware... maybe why my eggs were cold ‍ but the pancake was cold too. Turkey sausage came late--kinda warm. Went to grab a manger. Learned the GM was cooking. The gal told me "so it shouldn't be happening." But it was. My over medium eggs were completely cooked through in addition to cold. Ew! The server I mentioned earlier actually contested my friend's suggestion that her omelet had chorizo instead of Turkey sausage. My friend pointed to my Turkey sausage and said, "don't you see the difference?" ANYWAY, they comped our food AND made it all again. () My eggs were now over easy (not medium) so they were super runny. And the pancake, while warm, wasn't as tasty. ‍‍ I brought my own coffee for fear of last time's experience. OVERALL... lots of adjusting still going on. Every one is kind and working hard. I hate giving a bad review, but they kinda need to know -- and so do you. read more

We really like this place. We come after church on Sundays. Really crowded and the reason is the great food. It might be less crowded on a week day for breakfast. Check out their menu in line. Been to this location twice and both times service has been very lacking. My order was missing the sides and when asked the server to bring what was missing, when he finally brought it out, I was still missing some of the order. I was already more than halfway through the meal, so it was pointless to ask again. The next time we were trying to sit a party of 3 at the bar but there were only spots for two. This kind young lady offered to move down, without any comment from us. She moved and asked the bartender to bring her order out to her new seat. For whatever reason the bartender told her to go back to her original seat and told us that she was not going to have this young lady move to a different seat and we needed to go wait for a table. I have no idea why this bartender made such a big scene out of what was an act of kindness from this sweet woman. The food is fine, but until they get some proper training for staff, we will not be back. read more

One of our favorite daytime restaurants is First Watch. We were so excited to get one near our house. We have tried three times to eat here. We will get in the waitlist only to arrive and be told it will be another long wait. We have eaten at First Watch in Franklin, Farragut, Knoxville, Chattanooga, and Murfreesboro. None of those locations seem to have this problem. read more

The last two times we have gone our tables meals have come out about an hour apart from each other. The first time three of us got our meals and an hour and half later the fourth persons was being brought out, was then dropped in the kitchen and we had to wait even longer. We love First Watch but this location was not good. We have all left feeling sick. We ordered gluten free bread for dietary issues and they brought regular bread. When they went back to change it out they put the bread on the plate without even toasting it. The eggs did not seem like fresh eggs and we are pretty sure they were powdered. The eggs on our plates were either over cooked or under cooked and most of the dishes, utensils and glasses appeared dirty and there was a layer of grease on the floors making them very slippery. We will not be back to this location again. Just hoping we don't all end up sick from eating here. read more

We were told we could get in line via online check in with a 45-60 minute wait. We showed up at the restaurant at 45 minutes and took another 45 minutes for an hour and a half wait. Had they given us an honest time frame, we would have made a different decision. It appeared many who waited in the restaurant were seated first and the virtual check-in didn't work. Great new location! I'm enjoyed First Watch for years and so excited for I have one 5 minutes from home. We visited opening day and was pleased to say it was very run and organized for the first day. Food was excellent, Service was brutal. After waiting 30 minutes to be seated, we finally got sat at a table where we waited roughly another 15-20 minutes for our server, Jesse, to acknowledge us. Wouldn't have been a big deal if he hadn't come to the table directly next to us 3 times without even looking at us. Finally came over and everything felt rushed. He literally RAN away from the table. Food came out (ran by the busser) and was excellent. Never got checked on during the meal by our server (no refills, no condiments for food, nothing). Finally we flagged down the bus boy and he refilled our waters, picked up our finished plates. Server came back and dropped the check, walked away not saying a word. The whole meal we were watching as staff huddled around the host stand giggling and chatting. Overall, not the most pleasant experience but the restaurant itself is nice and kitchen staff is doing their job very well, so 3 stars it is. read more
