Their million dollar bacon is sweet and savory, seasoned with maple syrup, pepper, and other spices. It's often my go to whenever I go to a first watch branch. Costs only $6.49 so they're actually operating at a $999,993.51 loss when they sell it to you. The chicken chipotle was on their seasonal menu. Gives you that sweet and savory flavor with a subtle kick of spice. Did feel it was a little too much hash though and could have been a little bit more crispy. Our server was great. It wasn't intentional & no one got ugly. It was just extremely cramped. For no reason. There was room for the tables to be spread out. It was badly planned. I felt horrible for the staff on top of it all. That's all the gripe'able stuff. I got French toast & bacon with orange juice & coffee. My cousin's got chocolate chip pancakes with bacon, & the Trifecta, chocolate milk, coffee & water. All with a tip came out to $65. (Tip was $10.45) So I guess you can judge based on the price. My daughter's water cup had lip marks that were CLEAR.. someone with lipstick on had clearly used that glass. We waited well beyond that time and noticed multiple parties who arrived after us being seated. After about 40 minutes, we approached the hostess, who informed us that we had "fallen off the list," followed by the comment, "It's okay, it happens." It was cooked very well. It wasn't soggy like other places I've been too. Definitely surpasses Cracker Barrel pancakes by far. The bacon was cooked crispy with a slight glaze of some sort. Haha off to the cook on that one. Now the eggs; I had them over hard and the eggs were very fluffy. Very different than the eggs I typically eat. Perhaps this is what real eggs taste like compared to store bought. The eggs had a high profile of like 10mm or so. The knife cuts well into the eggs making a distinct separation of how well these eggs were cooked. The atmosphere is chill. They had some indie pop music playing which is really nice. Our waitress was very kind when it came to ordering. She made some recommendations to hone down on what I really wanted. The pancakes are very filling that even I couldn't finish them and I typically have a large appetite. I highly recommend this place. We jumped on it, plus we're hungry. The outside patio is alright, traffic makes it a bit loud, but I assume no difference than the inside at this time. I decided to go with my favorite, French Toast. They have one called the Floridian French Toast. Wow!!! I will say the French toast was awesome! My daughter had the omelet and stated it was the best she ever had, even better then the one I make, so I know it was good. Haha. Very filling that's for sure. Our server Elena was great. We used to have one of these maybe a block away in Maryland that we would frequent because of the fantastic food. The kiddos got the bacon and eggs (that comes with fruit cup and toast) and they scarfed it up. The coffee, at the location off Blanco , was great. If it were a bigger location, maybe they could have a pot of coffee available for those that are waiting. B-Rad! was a superb server, easily grabbing my coveted 5th star.
