    Chicken avocado chop salad
    Phillip A.

My family had Sunday brunch here and everyone enjoyed themselves. I had the chicken avocado chop salad, which was very impressive. It was very light yet very filling and I took the second half home with me. The restaurant itself is a little loud but nothing horrible. Our server was very friendly and attentive without being too intrusive. It's nothing overly fancy here but still enjoyable atmosphere and good food.

I really recommend this place! Everything was super delicious. The lemon blueberry cornbread was so moist with a strong lemon kick. The elote breakfast burrito (seasonal item) was definitely worth trying and super flavorful. Everything came out fast and service was decent. A very casual but solid brunch place!

The last two times or three we've come here, our ordered have been wrong. They really need to train the staff better. We ordered over easy eggs with sausage, it came with well done eggs with bacon; then it came out again with scrambled eggs and sausage. We also ordered well toasted English muffins, we had to send back the white I toasted bread again. What up First Watch??? Y'all used to be a 5 star and now you're just another average eatery. Do better. At least our server took accountability, but they didn't comp anything, which don't expect but would have been appropriate and appreciated under the circumstances.

The Quioccasin location is nice because it's not as loud as short pump and parking is easy. Feels cozier inside too. Always get friendly service and the specials are usually spot on for something tasty and unique. My son and I both ordered the seasonal Double Crunch breakfast tacos and devoured them. My son also tried the seasonal drink "red medicine" and really liked it. I'll skip the coffee next time because it's nothing special and a pricy $4.

If you read my reviews you all know I am a FAN of First Watch!!! Being new in town, I had no idea there are locations in RVA! So you know I had to stop by! First off I was greeted with great service! Before I could open the door a server from inside open the door for me to welcome me inside. I was sat instantly at a table and given my menu.[being as though I've been many times I pretty much knew what I wanted] My waiter was great! He was super accommodating and had great energy at so early in the morning. My food came out right on time & it tastes just as I expected. The best part was my breakfast drink! Thanks first watch for the awesome hospitality.

I'd like to say that this place is AAAMMMAAAZZZIIINNNGG!!! The food was so good. We have three kids. My son got the avocado toast with eggs which looked amazing and is great if you're looking for a healthy option. My daughter got the breakfast burrito. It was huge and she couldn't eat it all but said it was super tasty. Our youngest daughter got the waffles. It looked like a good portion for kids and not huge like every other place. She said it was tasty and cleared her plate. I got the salmon eggs Benedict and it was super tasty and it came euth greens on the side for more color and texture. Nice touch. Hubby had the BLT Benedict and it looked amazing and hubby said it was delicious. We also got their speciality drinks. Mine had lavender in it and it was purple and I literally could've drank that all day, so good. Try them!!! Service was spot on. Took no time at all to get food and it all came out hot and tasty. Ambiance was cute and quaint. I'd go back but it's a bit pricey esp for a big family.

I finally made it to First Watch for brunch while visiting Richmond VA this past weekend. First Watch is very popular in the triangle, so I had to find out what the hype is all about. I really enjoyed the interior design of this location and the outdoor patio dining space. I live for clean and modern restaurant interior design. Tuckahoe/Regency accomplished that. Service here was excellent. Our food was very fresh and not overly salted or sweetened. We decided on the biscuit platter, lemon ricotta pancakes, chicken sausage, cheese grits and the carrot cake and pecan pancakes. My friends had a fresh tonic and the cinnamon toast flavored cocktail. I had grapefruit juice, breakfast potatoes, cheese grits and the carrot cake pecan pancakes. The pancakes are huge ! Bigger than your face big. You can easily share the pancakes amongst 3 people. Just have one. The grits had this beautiful top crust of cheese. Similar to macaroni and cheese. They were red mill grits which are more coarse than the smooth grits you may be used to. I found the food affordable for the value. I will definitely visit again here in Raleigh.

My daughter was home for the weekend but was heading back to school on Sunday, so we decided to go to breakfast as a family since my other daughter had the day off. We were going to go to the First Watch in Broad in Short Pump but the wait was quoted as 1-2 hours. Nope. So I looked again and saw a First Watch on Quioccasin by Regency Mall, and the wait was only 20 minutes. We put our names on the list and headed over. The drive is less than 10 minutes, so easy. We checked in and were seated within 10 minutes. The menu looked good with lots of choices. And I like that they try to offer some healthier fare, even if my husband orders the donuts (which were worth every calorie!). I ended up getting an egg white wrap with fruit and asked to leave the turkey off-it just seems weird to have turkey on a breakfast wrap. I also got their green juice made with Kale, Apples and lemon juice. Both were tasty and I really liked the balance of mushrooms, spinach and pico on the wrap. My husband got the smoked salmon eggs Benedict, my oldest daughter got a veggie frittata with cheese grits and the youngest got the breakfast sandwich with potatoes. Everything was good and portions were sizable. We also got iced coffee, which was smooth and had a nutty finish. Service at this location was stellar. I encourage others who live in Short Pump to bypass the 1-3 hour wait and visit this location of First Watch.

The fastest trip i've ever made to first watch. I typically visit the ironbridge & midlothian location and always run into hourssss of wait time. I visited this location on a saturday morning around prime time and was seated immediately. Our waitress greeted us quickly and took our orders which only took about 10-15 minutes to arrive. Everything was delicious per usual. I especially like there iced coffee! Tried the egg white omelette for the first time and everything was fresh and cooked well. Will definitely be returning to this location.

I almost never go out for breakfast, so this was a treat. I'd only been to First Watch in Columbus, OH YEARS ago... prior to their rebranding... and I like it a lot! Great options on the menu. I could've ordered many different things, but I chose the egg white and turkey omelet. It was really tasty. And the coffee was delicious! I'll definitely be back.

I picked the Jewish Sailor that was a combo of toast with pastrami and beef sausage with red onion and mustard. When the dish came, it looked so scrumptious. Loved the flavor of the pastrami, the crunchy sausages, crispy toast bread, coleslaw all of it. I also got to try the pierogis that were delicious as well. The service was good overall. Note that this is not how they are usually served, it was Briana's favorite way to eat this dish so she made the decision for me. The porkchop was very very good. Upon entering, I was reminded of a 1950s pharmacy by the humongous "Prescriptions" sign hanging above the bar, and the antique furniture, bar, and barstools splayed throughout Tarrant's. There was a solid crowd at the bar; it's clear there is a regular crowd that sits and hangs out here. We were promptly seated by a young blonde woman in the dining section (behind the bar). Our server, Nadia, was an enchanting brunette, training another young server, Sierra. She took our drink orders and gave us plenty of time to review the menu, checking in after a few minutes to see if we were ready. We finally decided, my partner ordered the 10" Bianca White (pizza), and I chose the Sailor Sandwich. Unfortunately, the sailor was not in the cards for me, and Nadia suggested the Reuben as they were similar. They brought out breadsticks while we waited, and the food arrived within 10-15 minutes. I was pleased with the atmosphere, the old-fashioned chandeliers, the large mirror, the floral paintings, and the rustic frames, all of which added to the restaurant's stated aesthetic. The pizza was hot and savory, while the Reuben had buttery toast, crispy corned beef, and a light smattering of sauerkraut (TBH, I didn't even notice the sauerkraut). For dessert, we indulged in the upside-down walnut apple pie, served with vanilla ice cream, all made from scratch, and beautifully delicate. Our time at Tarrant's Cafe seemed like a stroll into the past; the only indication of modernity was the ordering kiosk used by the staff. We truly enjoyed our time and had deeply meaningful conversations without enduring the hustle and bustle or the rowdy cacophony of an intense crowd.

There are two tea blends that are custom to the hotel, the Jefferson blend and the Richmond blend- we tried the Richmond blend, which was very spice-forward and flavorful. The savory tier was pretty standard- we really liked the cucumber and chicken salad sandwiches, the sweet potato biscuit was a little dry and we didn't love the spinach wrap. The tea breads were our favorite from the sweets! We had a strawberry lemon bread and a chocolate bread, they were a little different from what you usually get at tea. There were also some small patisserie treats, like a chocolate covered strawberry and mixed berry cookie. You could add on seasonal cocktail options- we tried and really liked an old fashioned and a summer mimosa. We did a prepaid Tock reservation, which came out to about $60 per person after tax and gratuity. I think the price is very reasonable for what you get, especially in such a lovely environment.
