My family had Sunday brunch here and everyone enjoyed themselves. I had the chicken avocado chop salad, which was very impressive. The last two times or three we've come here, our ordered have been wrong. They really need to train the staff better. We ordered over easy eggs with sausage, it came with well done eggs with bacon; then it came out again with scrambled eggs and sausage. The Quioccasin location is nice because it's not as loud as short pump and parking is easy. Feels cozier inside too. Always get friendly service and the specials are usually spot on for something tasty and unique. My son and I both ordered the seasonal Double Crunch breakfast tacos and devoured them. My son got the avocado toast with eggs which looked amazing and is great if you're looking for a healthy option. My daughter got the breakfast burrito. It was huge and she couldn't eat it all but said it was super tasty. Our youngest daughter got the waffles. It looked like a good portion for kids and not huge like every other place. She said it was tasty and cleared her plate. I got the salmon eggs Benedict and it was super tasty and it came euth greens on the side for more color and texture. Nice touch. Hubby had the BLT Benedict and it looked amazing and hubby said it was delicious. We also got their speciality drinks. I finally made it to First Watch for brunch while visiting Richmond VA this past weekend. First Watch is very popular in the triangle, so I had to find out what the hype is all about. I really enjoyed the interior design of this location and the outdoor patio dining space. I live for clean and modern restaurant interior design. Tuckahoe/Regency accomplished that. Service here was excellent. Our food was very fresh and not overly salted or sweetened. We decided on the biscuit platter, lemon ricotta pancakes, chicken sausage, cheese grits and the carrot cake and pecan pancakes. My friends had a fresh tonic and the cinnamon toast flavored cocktail. I had grapefruit juice, breakfast potatoes, cheese grits and the carrot cake pecan pancakes. The pancakes are huge ! Bigger than your face big. You can easily share the pancakes amongst 3 people. Just have one. The grits had this beautiful top crust of cheese. Similar to macaroni and cheese. They were red mill grits which are more coarse than the smooth grits you may be used to. My wife & I were in the Regency Mall-area and were fortunate enough at 10:30 Am to order breakfast. I immediately noticed the cleanliness of the entry way and our booth. We got immediate service in a comfortable booth so we could talk. Our waiter was great and focused on us to enjoy our time there. My daughter was home for the weekend but was heading back to school on Sunday, so we decided to go to breakfast as a family since my other daughter had the day off. We were going to go to the First Watch in Broad in Short Pump but the wait was quoted as 1-2 hours. Nope. So I looked again and saw a First Watch on Quioccasin by Regency Mall, and the wait was only 20 minutes. We put our names on the list and headed over. The drive is less than 10 minutes, so easy. We checked in and were seated within 10 minutes. The menu looked good with lots of choices. And I like that they try to offer some healthier fare, even if my husband orders the donuts (which were worth every calorie!). I ended up getting an egg white wrap with fruit and asked to leave the turkey off-it just seems weird to have turkey on a breakfast wrap. I also got their green juice made with Kale, Apples and lemon juice. Both were tasty and I really liked the balance of mushrooms, spinach and pico on the wrap. My husband got the smoked salmon eggs Benedict, my oldest daughter got a veggie frittata with cheese grits and the youngest got the breakfast sandwich with potatoes. The fastest trip i've ever made to first watch. I typically visit the ironbridge & midlothian location and always run into hourssss of wait time. I visited this location on a saturday morning around prime time and was seated immediately. Our waitress greeted us quickly and took our orders which only took about 10-15 minutes to arrive. Everything was delicious per usual. I especially like there iced coffee! Tried the egg white omelette for the first time and everything was fresh and cooked well. After voting, DH and I decided to treat ourselves to a 'real breakfast' and decided to give First Watch a try. Upon our arrival, we were warmly greeted and seated promptly. The menus gave many choices for breakfast, brunch and lunch. I decided on the short-ribs poutine. DH decided on the biscuits and gravy combo. My breakfast was very good but it was more like a hash than a poutine. Still good though. Large portion, enough to take home half and have it for lunch! DH enjoyed his choice and cleaned his plate. The restaurant interior is comfortable and pleasing to the eye. Service is good. The restaurant was probably about half full, but it was obviously doing a brisk take out business. Me and my wife decided to go to another location for curiosity to see if things would be different. This location looked more upkeep and clean than our usual one but way understaffed. We started with coffee and asked for 'real' refrigerated creamer to which they said they didn't have until we explained twice and they got it. Our orders were just as usual, tri-fecta with OVER HARD eggs, chicken patty and pancake (Chocolate chip for me and banana granola for my wife). When our orders got to our table, the eggs were not over hard, extremely oily and the egg whites weren't even fully cooked and runny also the pancakes were thin and small. We got new eggs done right this time but also looked like they were swimming in butter. I know I posted reviews and reviews of this place but it's because it's one of the only breakfast places near that opens up so early and has such a good menu. It is quite puzzling that not even 6 months ago it was amazing and I just watched the quality go downhill from there. I don't know what happened but all the staff in this location also was all new so I wonder what happened to the old staff. The location that we normally go to has all new staff and we had a situation which left me kind of 'grossed out' a bit. We were the first clients in the morning and as I went to the bathroom and the bathroom stall walls were stained with dried urine and the mirror above the sink was dirty and full of specs. I told the manager and she went in with cleaning supplies and someone else I assume to help and came out with the supplies a bit after. My wife went in to use it after the meal and it was all the same way, nothing was touched. Makes me incredibly sad to see such a good place lower their standards like this. We came on Sunday and it was super busy during peak brunch hours. We got our food SO quick I was shocked. I cannot eat pork or eggs which usually makes breakfast and brunch hard for me but they had a lot of options I could eat! I got the biscuit and turkey sausage gravy, subbed the eggs for grits. They are a breakfast spot that closes early in the day (2:30p) so if you plan on checking them out, be on it. I got the Farmhouse Hash (seasoned home fries with onion and sun-dried tomatoes, cheese and bacon topped with 2 eggs your way); I got mine over medium. Comes with avocado on it too per the menu, but I DON'T do that . Also had a side of the Million Dollar Bacon, Lawwwwd . In all the experiences I've had, First Watch is always *almost* good. This location is close to me and so I was excited to stop in for lunch yesterday. I'm excited about the revitalization of Regency Square Mall and I do think that First Watch is a good addition to the area. I ordered one of the juices and the chicken pesto quinoa bowl. The bowl was almost great. I loved the flavors and the chicken was moist, but it seems like there wasn't enough of the pesto sauce in the bowl. Unless I had a piece of chicken with the sauce on it in a bite, it tasted dry and rather bland. Come to think of it, I should have asked for more sauce. I'm sure they would have given it to me. Next time! My juice was good, albeit a little Earthy. I probably wouldn't get it again. The environment inside of First Watch is beautiful, bright and open and the waiters were super friendly.
