You are guaranteed a winning meal at First Watch no matter where in the country you go. Service is quick, efficient, and friendly. My waitress remembered to bring me another glass of iced tea before I had bottomed the first one, unfortunately she forgot it was supposed to be sweet. Small mistake, and I let it slide because she was just so nice. We had a carafe of water for the table too, so you were going to have something within arms reach to drink no matter what. The menu has a wide selection of breakfast and lunch items. Food is farm fresh, beautifully plated, tasty and filling. My mother and I both had the Eggs Benedict. She went for the classic version and I opted for the Florentine with spinach and avocado. We had a choice of sides: potatoes, toast, or fruit. We both got a cup of the latter. As a special treat, we also ordered a side dish of the Million Dollar Bacon. Four thick pieces of Hickory bacon glazed with brown sugar, maple syrup, and cayenne pepper. It checks off everything your endorphin craving brain desires: sweet, spicy, salty, crispy....ah...bacon! The place accommodates singles, couples, and larger families. Booths and tables are available. Parking is tight, but you can still find some though you might need to walk a few more feet. Went here yesterday for a late Sunday breakfast, around noon, and only had to wait 15 minutes. We used their app to reserve a table, unfortunately Yelp no longer offers the waitlist option. The place is located in a plaza, but it's a separate building. There's lots of parking, and they have quite a few outdoor tables. The traffics noise level from 41 is a bit high sitting outside, but more refreshing and safe than sitting inside during the pandemic. Our server was very friendly. He took our drink order quickly, the Bloody Mary with a strip of Million Dollar bacon. Wow, was that spicy good. We also ordered a separate plate of the million dollar bacon, their famous Egg Sandwich with arugula and avocado, the avocado and crab toast, and Italian wedding soup. Everything was absolutely delicious. My complaints are that the top of the outdoor tables are far too wobbly, and we had to wait too long (over 30 minutes) for our breakfast plates too arrive. read more

I went with 6 people after a beach walk. The table ordered omelets oatmeal and avocado toast. I had the Bacardo Omelette. It was filled with a lot of bacon and had a very nice flavor. Came to my usual First Watch this morning. I always get a drink, but I request them with "light ice" since in my opinion they fill the cup up to the rim with ice. 2 sips and it's finished is how that usually goes. So today was odd and unsatisfying for me. I ordered the Kale Tonic with light ice and was given a small kale tonic with ice. I'm assuming the drink order is 10 oz and also states it is 10 oz on their website. Unfortunately, I paid for a 10 oz cup of Kale Tonic and was given what seems to be a child's cup. The breakfast was ok as well, because even though the eggs and bacon were good, the potatoes were half raw still. It's whatever for that. So sad to see the only First Watch I actually enjoyed eating from make a poor choice. read more

The blonde lady that sat us and waited our table was extremely rude. We should have walked out as soon as she rudely greeted us but we didn't think she would be our waitress. She had an attitude before we even got to the table and it escalated as the meal went on. The food was low end lunch cafeteria food. Panera has better food, save your money and go to Panera if you are looking for sandwich and soup lunch. I wouldn't recommend this place or experience to anyone. The waitress should be reminded that her job is to wait tables in a cafeteria style restaurant and she's not working a high end job so she should adjust her attitude to such. read more

After being ignored, I seated myself and was then ignored for another 15 minutes. The waiter who finally found time to come to my table, took my order and told me I could get fake maple syrup or the real maple syrup for $2 extra. Why even have the fake stuff? If I wanted inferior ingredients, I'd go to IHOP. I would not recommend this First Watch This is an update to my review. After communicating with management at First Watch, I was given a $20 card, along with a detailed response. We went to First Watch today and they definitely redeemed themselves. Started out great with using the waitlist on Yelp but fell off from there. We were seated at a table next to 2 crying infants and asked to be reseated. We spotted a table and they kindly moved us there but the table had not been cleaned. We saw the waitress remove dirty dishes from the table without wiping it down and when we asked for it to be wiped down the host gave us grief stating numerous times it had been wiped even though we saw otherwise. The table was amazingly still dirty even after he re-wiped it down. Server finally came and was very curt with us throughout the visit. The food was typical good quality for the chain. I had the chile chorizo omelette and my wife had the traditional eggs Benedict both of which were served hot and fairly fast given how busy they were. At checkout found out they did not honor the military discount that I thought was a staple of the chain. Have never been refused this at any other of their locations nationwide. Also was a little disturbed to see credit card receipts just thrown into a garbage can at the register. Hopeful they will actually shred all of them. The service is also great, I thought the place being so affordable that i wouldn't be able to make substitutions to the some of the menu items but nope they are great my daughter dropped her sausage and they quickly got her another at no charge. Great First Watch. Not as nice of a view as the one across from the beach on the water. Same great food though. I always always get the same thing here no matter how hard I try to get something new. I get the skillet with scrambled eggs, cheese, potatoes, avacado, mushrooms, well done. I truly love it. I sometimes get a wheat germ pancake too, just one and share it. The seating outside is covered on 41, so kinda loud, but nice. Great service. One of my favorite breakfast places. read more

This breakfast dish ELOTE MEXICAN STREET CORN HASH as many that have been on a separate menu for just three months, will once again, leave the menu as of August 15th. Rarely are they extended for another week or two. Was told this by the manager. I had this entree yesterday 6/28/21 and it was the best! ALL their dishes are great but this would have been my only entree from now on. The flavors in all the dish were perfect. Great combination. The creative First Watch menu has solid options, though their seasonal menus I find hit-or-miss. Staff here are terrific. I love first watch and never had a bad experience until visiting this location. My husband ordered scrambled eggs and they mixed up the order and gave him over easy by accident. When we sent them back, his plate came back a minute later from the kitchen and it looked like the chef just broke up the over easy eggs to make them appear "scrambled". Our waitress said that's how they make scrambled eggs....I've never seen them look like that in my life. Then, the manager came out with a plate of real scrambled eggs and told my husband to make sure that he ordered them as "whipped" eggs next time like it was his fault. We were shocked that he said this and I've never had to order "whipped eggs" at a breakfast place before. It wouldn't have been a big deal if they hadn't gotten so defensive, so I won't plant to visit this particular location again. Otherwise, the food is usually great. read more
