Goldies has had a significant change. Ciro Amato Jr., 60, passed away on March 12, 2025, and was the original owner of Goldies. We had heard all sorts of rumours about Goldies and the huge changes made. First, we did not know Ciro had passed; second, we heard the staff was gone; third, the food had gone downhill. After Ciro's death, the establishment closed briefly while the ownership was straightened out. This caused the staff to seek employment elsewhere. The food, which includes their famous jams, is still available and still excellent. While not having the first-name basis we enjoyed in the past, the service was spot on. The food was good. I enjoyed my breakfast. The exterior is brand new, while the inside is the same as it ever was. Rest in Peace, Ciro, and may the Perpetual Light Shine Upon You. read more

Super cute off the beaten path, local place for breakfast. Service is amazing. All the ladies were so friendly and sweet and made great suggestions. I had the avocado toast which was delicious and loaded with tomatoes, red onion, avocado and feta. My husband had corned beef hash which was homemade and one of the best we've ever tasted. The strawberry jelly and peanut butter that was on our table was also homemade and so good. Definitely will come back next time I'm in Naples! read more

Hadn't been back to Goldie's since change of ownership only once and there was an article in the Naples news stating staff was all let go then a correction stating no staff was kept in place. Noe staff on this visit is gone all of them a shame was bunch of hardworking individuals guess things change. I visited around 10 a.m., and the owner personally held the door for us.. a thoughtful first impression. The atmosphere remains just as it was before: welcoming and familiar. The food continues to be consistent, reasonably priced, and enjoyable, which is exactly why I've always appreciated Goldie's. My hope is that it stays this way. While adding a few new items could be a nice touch, I'd love to see the original menu preserved. Overall, everything still feels great under the new ownership. And don't worry the ultimate breakfast is allegedly coming back. read more

At first we thought the place was closed, never saw it so empty on a Saturday morning. Surpised to see it was open, my family and i went in to eat. The menu changed . I used to enjoy the ultimate breakfast with my family. It has been taken off the menu... crossed out with a sharpie! The staff we were accustomed to was gone. We were so uncomfortable, we paid for our drinks and went elsewhere to eat. So sad. Goodies used to be a favorite. I guess we'll just have to keep the memories. After reading news of the owner Mr.Ciro passing away in March 2025, I now understand why his business has gone downhill. Poor man is probably spinning in his grave! read more

Place is small, clean, staff is super helpful and food comes out lightening quick. Prices are more than fair. I customized my omelette with provolone and fresh spinach. Dark rye bread and fresh fruit. So delicious. Menu is extensive for breakfast and lunch , lots of healthy options but also breakfast favorites like Benedict's and yummy waffles and comfort foods like tuna melts. It's in a strip mall under going construction but surprisingly we heard no noise . If you are tired of paying for overpriced breakfasts that leave you less than satisfied, Goldie's is for you. Revolving daily specials posted on the wall so you will never get bored. This will definitely be a " go to " for me when we are in Naples. read more

awesome, awesome, awesome the owner was George. very nice man who just took over the restaurant 3 months ago. the pancakes were terrific. not big and fluffy,,thin and on the smaller size which we loved. the pastrami was perfect. not a bit of fat on it. the slider hamburgers were good as well with delicious potato salad. eggs over light were done perfect and the hash browns were done to perfection. I asked for a little bit of fried onions....not burned onions like most restaurants do. They came out perfect. The 2 waiters were so nice...maybe husband and wife. I don't know but they looked cute together. this is a must eat place. you will not be sorry. the coffee was fresh and the place was very clean. LOVED IT!!!!! read more

A great no frills breakfast spot. We noticed that a lot of locals dine here. We go the breakfast combo and there was enough food to share for an adult and a kid. Great value for the money. Their in house peanut butter sauce and strawberry preserve made the French toast that much better. If they forget to bring it out definitely ask for it.
