My husband and I love seeking out local coffee shops whenever we travel, especially ones that are passionate about sourcing exceptional beans. We were driving from Tampa to Miami and came across Acopia while planning a coffee stop. It was only a few miles off I-75, making it an easy detour, and we're so glad we found it. From the moment we walked in, everyone was genuinely friendly and welcoming. It's a local, family-owned business, and you can immediately tell they care deeply about quality and creating a place where people enjoy spending time. The coffee was outstanding. We love quality pour overs to enjoy the flavors of the beans and we especially loved trying the Ombligón coffee - something new that we'd never had before. It was incredibly delicious and a unique flavor profile. Learning that their coffee is single-origin from Colombia and that they maintain a relationship with the very farm that grows their beans made us appreciate it even more. It's not every day you find a coffee shop with that level of connection to its source. The café itself is clean and beautiful. There are many thoughtful details throughout the space, from the artwork to the décor that celebrates their Colombian heritage. It feels authentic, warm, and inviting. Music is great too! Even the chairs were unique and surprisingly comfortable, making it a place you'd happily spend an afternoon. It's also a very family-friendly space - i saw games and books for children to enjoy. There is also plenty of tables to do work and a room in the back for privacy. Based on another review, we ordered a slice of the gluten-free, sugar-free chocolate cake, and it was rich, moist, and delicious-- hard to believe it was both gluten-free and sugar-free. Our drinks and cake were ready in about five minutes, which was impressive considering the quality. If you're in Naples--or just passing through on I-75 and looking for a coffee stop that's actually worth making - you won't regret stopping at Acopia. It's the kind of local business that's easy to root for, and we'll definitely be back the next time we're in the area. read more

I've been to Acopio a handful of times now and still appreciate their clean, cozy, and energetic atmosphere... and their empanadas... and their coffees (drip and cappuccino)... and their service. So yes, there's a lot to love! But man-- it really hit me how expensive they are. They're good at what they do, but there's comparable spots that have a more balanced price point. I tried their Nikki's Breakfast and while good, it was smaller than expected and not something I'm willing to pay the price for again. Glad I tried. Will continue to go, but probably just for coffees and empanadas. read more

We spent a few hours here killing time before we could check into our Airbnb, and it turned out to be such a great find. The vegetarian arepas were delicious and filling. The service was amazing...genuinely warm and attentive. We also tried the berry jam iced coffee, which was surprisingly delicious and really unique. It's sweetened with whole berry jam and works so well. The hot chocolate was a hit with the kids, especially with the fresh whipped cream. We sampled a few Colombian snacks too and enjoyed all of them. A perfect spot to relax, snack, and recharge. highly recommend. read more

Really cute cafe and friendly staff! I came here for 2 iced coffees to go. I got an iced dirty chai with almond milk and an iced vanilla latte for my friend. My friend really liked her drink. The employees were wonderful , the food good , coffee was well ...,,. Not coffee , but espresso with 2/3% added water. Their Americano was good but ..... it's not coffee. My turkey sandwich was very good. My biggest complaint of the restaurant is their clientele. More than half the space was taken up for hours by people not still eating or drinking but conducting business using this as an office they don't have to pay rent #freeloaders. It even has a cute walled off space called the " Coffice ". Seats maybe 5 people. 2 guys hogged it for hours with truly minimal purchases. To stay in Business like all restaurants the key is get people in & out without rushing them. If people want to conduct business here they should be charged a fee up front that will be credited to food & drink purchases. The espresso & food here is very good served by very nice people. They deserve the chance to make the rent by getting people in & out. Lastly if you are listed as a coffee shop there should actually be coffee. It can be French press , drip , single cup pour over , or even Mr Coffee. They have the products to survive a tough business but somehow they need to move people more efficiently. read more

Being a self-proclaimed coffee enthusiast, I'm always on the hunt for places that source specialty coffee from unique places. I was recommended a Pink Bourbon variety medium roast. I typically go for lighter roast coffees, but went with the recommendation of the barista. They were welcoming and appreciated my enthusiasm for unique coffee, explaining to me the nuances between their offerings. The empanadas were perfectly crisp on the outside with juicy, seasoned fillings that instantly took me back to the streets of Medellín. The pan de bono? Soft, cheesy, slightly chewy--basically comfort in bread form. What I love most is that everything tastes like it was made with love--and you can feel that the second you walk in. From the maps of Colombia on the wall to the option of eight different brewing methods, they've really thought through every detail. It's not just a café, it's a cultural expression. This is one of those places where I could give it more than 5 stars I would. I say this because I've been to a lot of coffee shops - some have amazing people working there, others have world class coffee, and yet others have the perfect atmosphere. It's really hard to make all of these things happen together and yet places do it and deserve a perfect rating. What made this place stand out is the passion of not only the coffee but of the origin, and home town, and what it stands for. Specifically, I noticed the interactions of the owner with customers the first time and it was really great to see. He greeted everyone, treated each person in a special way. Even for me, he brought out my drink and gave me some chocolate samples to try and then waved good bye as we were leaving. I'll pause there for a moment. The latte I got was off the charts fantastic. I know they talk about sourcing the best Colombian coffee, which I normally don't go for, but this changed my mind but also made me think about that latte most of the morning after we left. Later in the day, we came back so I can pick up a bag of coffee, try an arepa, and get another latte. The same lady took our order. She was wonderful both times and very engagement and interactive with my daughter and with me. As we waited for the arepa, I walked over to the map on the wall. I love maps and geography. The owner noticed and came over and started explaining where the coffee came from, where he came from, what it was like and the entire connection to Naples. It was not only fascinating but so nice of him to take time to explain everything and his passion for what he does. I know he rubbed off on me and I hope others get to meet him because this sort of kindness and passion is really needed in this world and it makes everyone around us better people. The breakfast /lunch menu is full of healthy yummy items. However, the staff is the highlight above the wonderful coffee and goodies. The entire staff are delightful. First, they are so so friendly. The coffee is great too. I usually order an iced americano with a little coconut milk. They bring out the milk separately so you can tell them exactly how much you want in it. It's a very warm and inviting space with plenty of seating. It is on the pricey side for coffee, but I keep going back because of the service and quality. read more

Personally, I'm okay with it because the coffee, chocolate and food are all worth the wait. I find Acopio to be a great place to catch up with friends and family, or even to work in a fun atmosphere. We love trying local places. I will say the customer service here was outstanding! The young lady at the counter was helpful explaining the menu, concepts, ingredients, etc. I opted to try something new which was the Sparkling Coffee. It sounded different and man was it different.
