a cup of coffee and a bag of ground coffee

I first found out about Java Doro while watching tv. It was intriguing to me because I had no idea there was a coffee company selling fresh roasted beans in Cape Coral. I tried the Ethiopian dark roast beans & I am HOOKED! I have a new, favorite flavor. I purchased some pods as well, both the morning blend and dark magic (sorry I could be wrong) and enjoyed those flavors as well. Now, I know EXACTLY where that coffee aroma is coming from when I am driving down Del Prado Blvd!

Coffee Bean Roasters warehouse that delivers coffee to various locations. The owner was very friendly and showed us around the warehouse - there were bags of coffee beans from multiple countries. It smelled delicious! It was interesting to tour, but very small and there was no cafe or anything to buy onsite.

We stocked up on coffee and also tried Bones' peppermint mocha canned coffee. For anyone local who appreciates unique flavored coffees, Bones' store is a must visit for all your caffeine needs.

Probably because they just slapped shipping labels on the coffee pod box and shipped it that way. Why not place it in an Amazon shipping box? Let's just say my Amazon review reflects a lower rating because of shipping. The product itself was not great quality wise. It tasted like cinnamon flavored coffee water. There were no hints of marshmallow or sweet potato. Adding creamer did not help. It honestly wasn't worth using the generator amps to run the Keurig after Hurricane Milton. I really was hoping for a comforting cup of coffee full of delicious Fall flavors. Maybe others will have better luck with a different flavor. I was curious about Bones Coffee after seeing a display of it locally. The only good thing I can say is that I love the beautiful artwork on the package. However, the Amazon warehouse in Tennessee made it difficult to see all of it. I'm giving Bones Coffee an extra star for the artwork.

Their new downtown Fort Myers location just opened, and you can feel the energy of something fresh starting. I had the chance to talk with the manager, Bailey, who shared a bit of the story behind the space, and it made the whole experience feel a little more personal. I ordered the Lucky Latte, and it did exactly what it was supposed to do. The cold foam was topped with Lucky Charms, which instantly takes you back to childhood, but with oat milk, it turned into this smooth, sweet pick-me-up that actually felt balanced -- perfect before a morning meeting. My friends ended up ordering the same thing after seeing it, which says enough on its own. I also grabbed banana bread -- because it's one of those comfort choices that never misses. Toasted with a little butter, it was simple but exactly what I needed. Warm, filling, and grounding in a way that slows everything down for a second. And that's kind of what I'm realizing -- it's not always the big moments. Sometimes it's a good drink, familiar flavors, and a space that makes you feel taken care of. Behind the counter, in places like this, you find small pieces of comfort that remind you what it feels like to just enjoy where you are

I always try a Mocha at a new spot - the taste did not disappoint! Really delicious and well made, I have a few "special order asks", oat milk, half sweet, etc. And the barista did well. 4/5 due to price. I paid nearly $11 for a mocha that I pay $5 at Dean's, within the Luminary downtown (which is organic coffee) and even Starbucks is $8 something. Too pricey for local coffee when there is lots of new competition out there!

The food is fun, because there's a little something for everyone. Yet the staff is kind, thoughtful and relaxed enough to make accommodations. That's rare these days. Parking may be tight, but it would be silly to rely on your car in Matlacha. There is a gorgeous park nearby with a large pier and plenty of parking. From there, the Perfect Cup is a short walk and ideal mental reset to transport anyone that visits Matlacha into the prophetic and elusive "Island Time." The bubbly and enlivening environment is enough to recharge you for a play day in Matlacha. It is inspiring to see how much this small community of even smaller business manage to survive and thrive all along a 1000' strip of delightfully walkable roadway. I encourage everyone to take advantage of the honor and privilege it is to walk through the doors of places still standing in Matlacha.

In my opinion , a well-managed restaurant would offer to accommodate a party at a smaller table or provide updates to improve the situation. Furthermore, my husband is handicapped, and while we were not seeking special treatment or free items, it was upsetting to see our place in line disregarded so blatantly while other tables were prioritized ahead of us. While the food was acceptable, it did not justify the long wait or the unfair seating system. I hope you take this feedback seriously to ensure other guests do not have a similar experience. I won't recommend anyone to this restaurant and one of your signs says what happens here we talk all week! I WANT TO TELL YOU THAT WHAT HAPPENED THERE WE WILL TALK ABOUT IT FOR A LONG TIME, AND MANY OTHERS WILL READ IT!!!
