We had a nice late breakfast and very good coffee this past weekend. My gf really enjoyed the flavored coffee and it was excellent. I had the sugar free caramel syrup iced coffee and was very pleased. I was happy to see that they have a nice selection of sugar free syrups and are willing to modify orders for any dietary concerns.

I haven't been to Perk and Brew for many years, maybe when I was a member of Cape Coral Coffee Lovers meet up about 10 years ago. [[HIGHLIGHT]]So we were pleasantly surprised by the outdoor seating and met Theresa the owner.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Freckles was with us and it's always nice when we can bring her.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We were just going to get coffee but ended up having French onion soup for me and a delicious goat cheese quiche for David. Theresa also made me a decaf pour over coffee and it was very good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Perfect for these sunny winter days when it's so delightful to eat outside![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We look forward to visiting again!

A Must-Stop Coffee Spot! Hands down one of the best coffee shops I've ever visited, friendly vibes, amazing service, and the coffee? Absolutely award-worthy. I had the BLT egg sandwich on gluten-free bread, and I can't stop thinking about it. Perfectly cooked, flavorful, and the gluten-free bread was toasted just right (which we all know is rare!). And yes... I went back the next morning! This time I started my day with a toasted marshmallow latte (with oat milk, of course) and tried the scrambled eggs with turkey sausage. Just as delicious. Honestly, anything you order here is going to be a win. The staff is super welcoming and kind, and the owner? Absolutely shines, she runs the place with heart and hustle, and it shows in every cup and every plate. Whether you're a local or just passing through Cape Coral, do yourself a favor and stop in at Perk & Brew. You'll leave full, caffeinated, and smiling. Always a favorite to stop and eat at! [[HIGHLIGHT]]I love the atmosphere inside, it's such a nice little coffee house and everyone's friendly who work there.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We see a lot of regulars which is nice![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The cold brew here is amazing and they have lots of flavors to choose from to add to your drinks! I love the frappes as well. If I stop by and have already had my coffee, I love to get the iced butterfly pea tea. It's so yummy and refreshing. Food wise, I haven't had anything I did not like! I've had good salads here, the croissant sandwiches are really good, love the tomato and feta side pasta salad (it's one of my favorite things to get when I visit), the pancakes and French toast have been great...overall it's just all been good and I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area!

Found this when serving for a nearby coffee shop. It was a little confusing to find because I thought it would be tied to the back parking lot but it didn't look like it. But when I walked in I was immediately welcomed by one of the servers! [[HIGHLIGHT]]You can sit anywhere, I chose the bar because I needed somewhere to plug in my computer - the server was kind enough to plug it in behind the bar.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Coffee was great and food was delicious! [[HIGHLIGHT]]You can tell the other customers are regulars!![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Very cozy spot![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]What a cute breakfast/coffee shop.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Everything was fresh and delicious with a great place to sit and enjoy outside and people watch.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our waiter was fabulous and was super friendly even when we were joking that he broke the espresso machine that wasn't working at the time. He did create some delicious coffee for us despite the machine being down. The food was perfect for a late breakfast early lunch. I had the breakfast BLT with a fried egg and croissant for the bread. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a relaxing breakfast around Cape Coral!

I've been trying to get to Perk & Brew for a while now. It's their hours that's been a challenge. I was finally ready to wait until their opened at 9am on a Sunday. That's a bit late for me and I'm sure others who need their caffeine earlier in the morning will pop across the street to the green siren people or the donut people. Today, I was here at 8:55 and they opened the doors at 9:00. A very nice woman took my order at the counter and brought my "black eye" to me at my table outside. Perfect coffee. There are a half dozen covered tables outside and while the ground has a slight slope, it's still comfortable. Being next to busy Cape Coral Blvd is a concern but there are some trees between the road and the restaurant so I didn't need to be concerned about a crazy driver. Nice to be trusted and pay later. That's just awesome. [Review 19131 overall - 1598 in Florida - 101 of 2023.]

Avocado toast with egg on rye!! Really good.

WARNING this is one of the Cape Coral restaurants that punishes patrons for using a credit card, by charging a 3% "service fee". The service was good, the food was very good. It is a nice place all in all. But the service fee charge is a big turn off. The amount wasn't much, but I really dislike money grabbing Managment. Will they soon be charging if you want to use their bathroom? Or charge for using salt & pepper? It won't stop me from visiting this establishment from time to time, but I feel sorry for the employees that receive less of a tip to offset this part of the "service".

The staff is super welcoming. Customer service is epic. We went specifically for the Seafood Paella. Our waiter told us that it takes about 40 minutes, as they make each order fresh. We were more than willing to wait. We decided on an appetizer, the Iberico Ham Croquettes. They were very lightly beaded and very crispy. We each had a glass of their white sangria. It was very refreshing. The paella came out and the aroma was heavenly!! It was the best paella I have ever eaten! The clams were so succulent and tasty. I could have eaten several dozen. All the seafood was cooked to perfection! We could not have asked for a better meal! I can't recommend Taberna Ole enough! A hit from start to finish.

We made reservations on Open Table, and I wanted to ensure I got my points. The computer is down.......sorry. They let us to a high top table. I do not want a high top. Took many minutes to decide which table to seat us at. We were there when they opened at 4pm and were the ONLY customers in the restaurant. When we left at 5:45pm we were STILL the only customers in the restaurant. Finally they seated us at a table. The absolute most uncomfortable chairs in the history of dining. Chairs with wooden bottoms. They explained that there was a concert this evening, and the place was booked full. OK. why not explain that on the web-site, so we could come another night. Or better yet, don't accept reservations for that evening. The noise level was horrible. Everyone of the staff scurrying around, moving tables, and chairs, setting up the speakers. Yelling, yelling, yelling, yelling. Could not hear myself think. Then, one of the owners opens a cabinet, and around 50 glasses come tumbling out, crashing to the floor and breaking. OK accidents happen. Then the performer arrived. Sorry, I do not know who he is, but the entire staff did and were very excited. They dropped everything and started taking photos with him. Then, they had to spend another 15 minutes showing each other the photos. This whole time, we are still the only customers, and we were totally ignored. The web site says happy hour is 4-6PM. The waitress tells us because of the party the happy hour is only lunch. Then, she asks a manager, and they bring a happy hour menu. We order from the regular and the happy hour menu. The one good note is that the cod fritters and the ham croquettes were excellent. The paella was soupy (I understand some folks enjoy it that way. I like mine with crispy rice) The waitress was very nice. She said she was sorry about all the confusion. We finally flagged her down and asked for the bill. She did, in fact, give us happy hour pricing. But, sorry, that does not make up for the evening. We left thinking that we would come back another day and give it a try. But, the next morning we woke up saying it was a horrible experience, and it is just not worth it. https://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g34230-d33076380-r1056307800-Taberna_Ole-Fort_Myers_Florida.html#

We arrived at 7:05 pm and were assigned only one server. By 7:40 pm, the server was still taking drink orders, so I requested the front desk to assign another server, and they did. However, what shocked us was that both servers assigned to us were new and had no idea about the menu. One of them couldn't even spell the menu items, and I had to dictate the spelling of each item. She didn't know what a flight was, and I had to explain it to her, even though it was mentioned in their bar menu. The restaurant/bar should provide proper training before hiring people. Our food order-taking was done by 8 pm. We waited for our food to arrive, only to get another surprise: the server forgot to write the table number with the food orders. So, she had to take everyone's order again at 8:05 pm. One of the ladies with us ordered a burrata salad, and it took 40 minutes to arrive because the server accidentally gave it to another party. While the food, drinks, and music were amazing, the service was horrendous. I can only say that I am never returning, nor will any of the ladies from our group.

A Hidden Gem in Downtown Naples -- Don't Sleep on This Place!…read more I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and the place was buzzing -- the outside patio was at full capacity. I asked for a seat at the bar, and even though space is very limited, the staff went above and beyond to find me one. That kind of effort on a packed afternoon says a lot about this team. The bartender was phenomenal -- attentive, warm, and somehow managed to make every single person at that busy bar feel like they were the only guest in the restaurant. The whole staff carried that same energy. They were also wonderfully descriptive about the daily specials and menu offerings, which made ordering a pleasure rather than a guessing game. I decided to try the crab cake, and I'm so glad I did. I grew up on the East Coast eating crab, and I've had my fair share -- I've long held that Phillips in Maryland made the gold standard. I am happy to report that Captain & Crew has dethroned them in my book. This crab cake was pure lump crab meat, not overpowered by fillers or seasoning. You could actually taste the crab. The accompaniments they served alongside it elevated the whole dish even further. Thoroughly impressed. The wine pairings were equally well-curated. I took the staff's recommendations and they absolutely nailed it. A heads-up for first-timers: parking is the one small challenge. There's no convenient lot right there, so you may need to use a parking garage and walk over. Honestly? Embrace it. If you're already in Downtown Naples, it's a beautiful stroll that perfectly sets the mood before you arrive. Captain & Crew is a true hidden gem. Many people come for the fresh seafood market, but don't overlook the restaurant side -- it's absolutely worth your time. Highly recommend.
