I can't believe I've never been to this First Watch on Pine Island Road in Cape Coral before! The restaurant was clean, tidy, and beautifully decorated. They even have a really nice outdoor seating area. The hostess greeted us right away and seated us quickly. I ordered a pancake with a side of bacon, and both were delicious. The pancake had that perfect little crispy crust around the edges while still being soft and fluffy inside. It did lack that salty aftertaste which I love. The bacon was cooked exactly how I like it: nice and crunchy. The prices were comparable to other restaurants in the area, and our waitress was attentive and friendly without being overbearing. Overall, it was a good experience, and I'll definitely be back. If you haven't tried this First Watch yet, I'd say it's worth a visit! My friends really enjoyed their breakfasts as well. read more

I went for breakfast at this First Watch in Cape Coral. Upon arrival, I was greeted and seated at a half-table half-booth. I liked the calm atmosphere. It took a bit before my waitress was able to get to my table but when she got to me, she was super personable and helpful with my order. I ordered their Barbacoa Beef Tacos with a side of black beans and a side of fresh fruit. I also ordered 4 drinks: coffee, water, orange juice, and their Morning Meditation drink. Everything was delicious and at a pretty reasonable cost. Overall, great experience! read more

First watch is always a great restaurant to go into. Hospitality is great. The food is awesome. Sometimes I get stuff I never seen before and comes out pretty well. I'll be honest is good. First Watch - Steak, potatoes, avocado, and eggs - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Cape Coral, Florida

I dropped in for breakfast this Wednesday morning. Not busy at all, so I sat at the bar for the very first time! #Breakfast #Wednesday #Bar #Morning Kaylie was very pleasant and just great. I ordered the works omelet and had to upgrade to the million dollar potatoes. OMG, I could eat these for days Now, the only issue is that this multi-million dollar business DOES NOT offer the Veterans Discount like Ke Ke Breakfast, House of Omletes, and Bob Evans . I guess I will go where I can spend my money where they appreciate the United States Military and the Veterans Even though the food was good and service was excellent, I will leave a four-star rating, but only one star for the lack of appreciation shown to veterans. read more

I wanted to have brunch here as soon as I saw their new seasonal menu. The berry lavender french toast was so good. I can't get enough of the lavender whipped cream. It is definitely my new favorite. We came to this location a few times. The staff is always friendly. Since this is the only location in Cape Coral, it can get busy during the prime time. Even they don't take reservations, you can join the waitlist online before you leave the house. read more

New place. 2nd time trying First Watch. Ordered to go. Two elevated egg sandwiches with homefries aka seasoned potatoes. Comes with avocado if you want it. Watermelon Wake-Up drink: Watermelon, pineapple, lime and mint. This is a special, seasonal drink that is not listed on their typical menu so I couldn't find it online, but knew they had it. read more

First Watch - Eggs pork sausage and potato's - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Cape Coral, Florida

First time at this First Watch and we were pleasantly surprised by the service, cleanliness and decor. The coffee was extra delish and the water comes to the table in a small decanter. I had the smoked salmon frittata with a side of home made breakfast potatoes. It was very good and filled with salmon and roasted vegetables. I found that both the frittata and potatoes were a little too salty for me. Dave had homemade pecan pancakes. He loved the fact that the syrup came in a warmed server. They were so big that he couldn't finish them all. So we will return to this bustling restaurant soon. Good luck First Watch! We're glad to have you in the neighborhood! read more

Service was great and the food was too! Ambiance is casual. Definitely would go here again. Delicious tea (unsweetened and flavored), mimosas and the farmhouse hash was just what I needed. The waffles were great as well with fresh syrup & jam. They even gave me a pre-sealed syrup to go for my waffle; so thoughtful! read more

Wife and I enjoyed a breakfast. The service was very nice in the atmosphere also was very pleasant. The food was somewhat warm, but truly not hot. I found the bacon to be extremely chewy and the potatoes a little undercooked. read more

Today I ordered breakfast for my office staff and when the food arrived two of the meals had rotten avocados . I called the restaurant which is 10 minutes away from our store to inform them of the situation and that I had pictures taken of the food immediately upon arrival. The manager Eduardo did came on the phone and immediately tried to tell me that the avocados were discolored due to the heat of the food. Then I explained to him that inside the avocados there were black dots and all around them. The manager Eduardo basically said and I quote " what do you want " I said to him sir I would first like a little respect and for you to listen , he then proceeded to say he was listening and that the avocados are not rotten . Towards the end of the conversation about who was right and who was an avocado expert . Eduardo never once apologized and I had to drive back for a new redo on the order . I drove with the order back so he could see that I didn't want anything other than bring it to his attention so no one else gets rotten avocado but to no avail . He was dismissive , rude kept looking up as I tried to speak and ask for his attention nicely. I short I would not recommend anyone getting take out from this First Watch because the manager Eduardo will never apologize or take accountability due to the fact that he is to self serving and give zero respect to his customers he needs to go back to training on how to respectfully navigate a client . He was deliberately rude and dismissive to me and my daughter in law . Completely inappropriate! read more

Food is great generally and just so very so so other times. Hit or miss. My complaint is that I used to always order a Traditional Breakfast. Two eggs but only one piece of toast. So last time, I asked if I could have two pieces of toast. Server said "Sure". Afterwards, I received my bill. They charged me $2.49 for an extra piece of toast! Never going back. Shame on them. read more

First Watch * Cinnamon Roll: too dense, hard. The gold flakes are cute, but add a weird texture. It had lots of lemon glaze to compensate. But let's be real, it's still a cinnamon roll, and we still ate the whole thing * Salmon frittata: Really good. shallots and tomatoes with balsamic is a goated combo. The side salad could use some more love though, maybe more dressing? Overall I like it! * Tacos: Double shelled, the tortillas are crispy. My grandma liked it, especially the cheese in the eggs. They put a little tajín on top of the fruit cup * Chickichanga: so much cheese, good flavor. Very heavy. I thought the cream sauce was a little bland but my mom likes it. The potatoes are good and crispy, though not really seasoned aside from salt? If filling is what you want then this is it. * Morning meditation Juice: The juice is served with a cute red-orange sunrise color! It's sweet but the ginger comes through. * Service and atmosphere: the service was attentive. the coffee was solid, and they give you a whole carafe of it too-- No waiting for the server to come around for your refill! The prices are fair and the portions were BIG. IMO these are hallmarks of a good diner. It's a farmhouse style interior with lots of natural light. The tables are big wooden and solid-- nothing rickety. And the chairs are SOFT and UPHOLSTERED I have to reiterate how comfy these chairs are! It makes the dining experience feel luxurious in an understated way. We went on dec 23, a Monday morning, but the restaurant was full. I would expect a wait on a weekend. read more

Great food always. Good service. Ambiance could be better because this location is pretty noisy at popular times.

Santa Barbara location, very disappointed, our group decided to try the new location, our usual was Pine Island location which is excellent. The new location has weak coffee, the bacon (crisp) was greasy and COLD. Eggs were good and service good but bacon and coffee were not good. read more

This is such a busy restaurant and the food was excellent! Service was great the drinks for awesome everything about it except for the 45 minute wait. No soy milk or almond milk? Just a bunch of fancy watered down sugar drinks? What happened to protein rich healthy meals? Breakfast of mostly flour dishes not on any healthy diet. So disappointing. First Watch - Oat milk if u don't want cows milk this is your option. - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Cape Coral, Florida

The resturant was so crowded and noisy. Not relaxing at all. The waitress was so busy we only saw her once to take the order, once to bring drinks and once to bring the check. A runner brought out the food and we were never checked on after that. I wanted to try the cornbread and it was awful. It was hard like it was old and tasted awful. My benedict was supposed to have avacado but only have one little sliver. I was disappointed in my meal. My husband said his omelet was good. We weren't happy overall and won't be back. Update - So they emailed me and said someone would be contacting me regarding my visit. Of course they never did! read more

Not sure who does the hiring but the host staff at this location has got to be some of the rudest restaurant employees I have ever encountered. I work in the industry and on my 2 days off a week I like to support restaurants in my area by dining out. I will never spend my hard earned money at this location ever again. Management should probably do personality interviews prior to putting these people in front of guests. read more

First time at this location. They were busy, I think they always will be because they are an out of the ordinary place, not same ole same ole choices. I had the combo with scrambled eggs, millionaire bacon & a waffle. All were delish. Hub had the Market Hash ,House-roasted Crimini mushroom, onion, red bell pepper and potato hash topped with two cage-free eggs any style, kale, melted Monterey Jack and herbed Goat cheese. He said it was great! He also had the cheesy grits. They give you a pot of coffee which is great & you don't have to constantly look for the server. read more

Very good! Service was a tad bit slow but overall it was very good. I don't think they have it anymore but the breakfast brisket quesadilla was absolutely killer! We had a party of six who went for brunch yesterday. The food was excellent. My banana stuffed French toast was superb. Coffee fresh & plentiful. Our only complaint was that all the food came out at the same time, but it was clear that some of it was ready beforehand and sitting about as it was decidedly lukewarm by the time it arrived. Being hungry and polite, we just ate what was put in front of us. It would have been better if they just served out each dish as it was ready and not waiting about. All,in all, goods service and great taste. read more

Food is so delicious! Large portions. Wait always goes pretty fast. Enjoy sitting at the breakfast bar. Friendly staff!

Dining options are unique, and I liked the free range, sustainable sourcing. Service was very friendly, but we did have to wait a fair bit, surprisingly, since we saw many servers on the floor and it was barely 1/2 full. My meal took a while, and was cold, but my husband's was very good, and said he'd definitely order it again. Vibe and environment speaks of a bohemian hipster-chic feel. We went very early on a Saturday, and the restaurant filled up quickly. Staff were pleasant and welcoming. We'll definitely go again. read more
