Drove from homestead to have breakfast with my mom for the first time at first watch. Specifically asked for multigrain French toast. Was really looking forward to it and they brought it in regular bread. The waitress went to back and asked if it was done in multigrain and came back and said they could make another but we had waited a long time already for the breakfast and didn't want to wait more. It's not that busy and waited 30-35 min for breakfast at 10:50 am. To long. The elevated egg sandwich is ok, it's a bit on the dry side. I won't order it again. The madame is better in my opinion. My mom liked the breakfast tacos. And no water was given to us, no wonder why that sandwich was so dry lol. read more

I have been to this restaurant before and never had an issue. Loved their food and service. However, a few days ago we ordered food through Uber eats from them, and when the food arrived there were two roaches inside the bag. One roach was on top of the food and the other tiny one on the bottom. I know there might be a chance it could have been from the Uber car, but what really left me speechless was the demeaning and terrible way the restaurant employee spoke to me when I reported the issue to them. I also reported it to Uber eats. First Watch employee Nancy Sierra who answered the phone at the restaurant, called me a liar when I attempted to say that I found the roaches in the bag, she did not let me talk, she told me I could do whatever I want, and not call them. I was bewildered by this employee's behavior and this is why I am giving the lowest review I can. read more

Elevated sandwich elevated my morning!! What an amazing combo of mashed avocados, cheese, bacon, sunny side egg and plenty of fresh arugula! I can't wait to have this breakfast sandwich again as plenty of my favs in one. The veggie frittata was cooked perfectly and was very fresh. We waited 15 for coffee, the appetizers came out with zero plates to share- we asked two different people for plates and they never arrived then finally our waitress came and we asked her and had to wait longer so the pancakes to share were cold. Came across this little gem waiting on my boss to land and was glad I stopped by. Rustic farmish themed restaurant with a pretty healthy menu. I got the avocado toast with over medium eggs (they were more like scrambled), but I really didn't care, it was still eggs LOL. Let's talk about the amount of avocado tho! More than enough that would make any other avocado toast look like chips with avocado. The multigrain bread is not as grainy as I had thought it would be and just the perfect amount of toastiness (not a word, but I'm sure you know what I mean). Definitely not a plate to fill you up completely but something that would get you by for a couple of hours. Staff are super friendly offering you coffee the minute you sit down and they know their stuff! I got locked out of my house yesterday, but instead of pouting, I decided to make lemons into lemonade and head to brunch with some friends. We arrived there at 11:30am and the place was packed. A table for 4 was quoted as 45-55 minutes. We weren't upset about the wait though because there was ample seating and coffee and water for you to have while you wait. There is also a Starbucks close by! I also appreciated being able to check my status in line. When we were sat, our server quickly took our drink order and brought it out in lighting speed. We put in our order soon after and that was the last time we saw our server for the next hour. Our server probably had like 6 or 7 other tables so I can't fault her too much, maybe a lack or servers on the floor but we were barely given refills, our food took ages to come out, and my friend's pancakes came out a full 20 minutes before everyone else. By the time our food came out he was done with his meal. There seemed to be a disconnect between the kitchen and the floor. In general I thought the food was pretty tasty. We ordered a side of the millionaire bacon, that was the perfect amount of sweetness. It was delicious. The carrot cake pancakes were good as well, and huge! The breakfast tacos weren't the greatest. My order was supposed to come with chicken chorizo and there just ended up being chicken breast on there. The best thing we ordered was the cornbread carnitas bowl. YUM. The carnitas were perfectly cooked. When it first arrived there was no cornbread on the plate but we pointed it out to the server and she quickly brought out a piece. The cornbread was really delicious as well. They should offer it as a side. It felt like this First Watch had just opened it's doors when it's actually been open for almost a year. I would come back to check out that cornbread any time, maybe to go. If you're in the area then I can see this being a good option for brunch. If not, feel free to skip it. read more

Maybe we just went during a super busy time?! The hostess was very friendly and told us 35-40 minutes but it was well over an hour. Our server discouraged me from ordering poached eggs as he said the kitchen was very busy and the likeliness of me getting my eggs cooked correctly was slim to none; this was annoying but I appreciate the server looking out and being honest rather than me being disappointed. The avocado toast was fine, bread was a little soggy and there was no EVOO drizzled over it as described on the menu. The ham was dry. The side salad with lemon dressing was really good - but the lettuce was a bit wilted, the dressed had good flavor! The coffee was really delicious and they gave us an entire pot as soon as we sat down. Overall it was fine, no major complaints, but I wouldn't wait an hour to eat there. read more

I understand that making the journey is part of the experience, but sometimes you just want that journey to be as short as possible. No place around me has much to offer, but now all of that has changed. I have officially found an amazing breakfast place near me. This is it, chief. First Watch may be a chain of restaurants, but having been to a few around the state, they each have their unique spin on the general menu by offering local specialties or locally-sourced ingredients. And this Flagami location does not disappoint at all. I have been lucky enough to try quite a few of their offerings, all of which I can recommend to everyone without hesitation. Their Farmhouse Hash is an assortment of potatoes, bacon, avocado, onions, tomatoes, cheddar, and Monterey jack served with two eggs (any style) on top and a side of toast. This bowl is a smorgasbord of flavors and textures that wake you up in the morning. The avocado adds a nice creamy flavor to the entire entree. In the same sort of egg-sclusivity, the Frittata Rustica is also a wonderful blend of Italian flavors of kale, Crimini mushrooms, onions, tomatoes, and topped with Mozzarella and parmesan cheeses. This option is definitely healthier than the Farmhouse Hash but still packs so much flavor in it. Their Crimini mushrooms are well-seasoned and cooked to perfection. Another omelet I would recommend is the Morning Market Veg that is completed made with vegetables and eggs. It's another great healthy option and their assortment of vegetables is absolutely divine. Since these last two entrees are omelets, they come with a side of their breakfast potatoes and choice of toast. If you want something sweeter for breakfast, then you're in luck since First Watch has a whole slew of them. Their French Toast is some of the best I have ever had and their seasonal variations of it just as good as the standard version. I can't remember the name of this version that we had, but it had strawberries, blackberries, granola, and a white chocolate glaze. It was absolutely fantastic and worth all of the extra calories! Going to "First Watch" is an absolute treat for me. Their wide variety of offerings covers all of my bases depending on what I'm feeling for breakfast or brunch. Plus their coffee always hits the spot. It is, as Agent Dale Cooper would say, "a damn fine cup of coffee." I could even have it with a dairy-free creamer! I would also like to give a special commendation to the staff here as they are always attentive and friendly. If you have a question or would like to substitute something in your dish, they are always accomodating and will try to make your experience the best it can be. With all of the above, I can wholeheartedly tell you that if you are craving amazing breakfast and brunch food in the Flagami area, then be sure to come to this First Watch and enjoy yourself. read more

I came the other for take out and it was great...fast and easy service, really good food. So I decided to bring my family for brunch on 4th of July...what a nightmare. We waited 30 minutes for a table, which is fine. But after we sat, we waited 10 minutes for someone to take our drink orders, at which point we also ordered food. Another 10 minutes later, we had to remind the waitress that she didn't bring us water or the decaf coffee we had ordered. As I write this review, we are 45 minutes into waiting for our food. And no, we didn't order anything out of this world. I've barely seen the waitress, but if there is a delay (which clearly there is) the least she can do is give us an update...it seems that they are severely understaffed, at one point there was 7-8 people waiting to pay and no cashier. Regardless of how good the food is, this is not acceptable. We are starving and frustrated. I highly doubt we'll be back...there's a lot of breakfast and brunch options in town, so service plays a huge role in where we decide to eat. Ps. The people next to us just for up and walked out...they had been waiting an hour and when they got their food, the order was wrong. Wow. Update: 55 minutes later, half our table for their order and the other two didn't. So two plates are getting cold while we all sit here starving. read more
